Aahil POV

After meeting Ruhani, I came out to lead my army.

We all started our journey towards Ayzan Sultanate and I had already motivated my soldiers.

But, still, I wanted one-on-one combat with Ayzan Sultan and his sons because the involvement of soldiers would provoke them to use their canons and could lead to destruction.

I was prepared with one of my strategies and only for this day, I was preparing for the last six months.

It did not take much time to reach there and I asked my second-in-command to stay back with the whole army hidden.

Leaving all my soldiers in a particular location, I marched only with the head commander to the Sultanate.

The soldiers standing in front of the door recognized me and opened the doors for us. He wished me and I wished him back with a smile.

Climbing down the horse, we both walked towards the meeting hall where we usually meet.

The attendees took us there and I looked at Ayzan Sultan entering the meeting court.

The hall was very big and well-decorated. They welcomed me with a smile and I realised that they did not know anything that happened to his daughter.

"Welcome, welcome Aahil,"

He said and I looked at his old yet tough face. He was smiling but deep down he was mad about the war being ended with a peace flag.

"I was waiting for you to hear the reason for hosting the white flag in the war,"

He said comfortably sitting on the throne.

I inhaled a deep breath and moved my gaze around the hall to know how many soldiers were standing there. And how many of them were my supporters.

It was a quick review and I looked back at Ayzan Sultan.

"Sultan, we hosted a white flag because the war was unnecessary,"

He thinned his eyebrows looked at me and questioned.

"Unnecessary? By what means you are calling an important war Unnecessary?"

I took a few steps forward and tied my hand behind to look sharply into his eyes.

"The war was because your younger daughter, Ghazal is missing. Or should I say 'Was Missing'. But, now we have found her,"

He stood up from the throne and stepped down the stairs.

"You found her?"

He asked lifting his one eyebrow.

"Yes, I found her,"

He gulped and now his voice turned a little low.

"Where is she? Where did you find her?"

I took a few more steps closer and I looked sharply into his eyes.

"In your dungeons,"

He blinked and tried to look around and walked a little closer to me, threatening slowly.

"What the hell are you saying?"

I gulped and repeated in a high voice to make it audible to everyone present in the hall.

"YOUR DAUGHTER GHAZAL IS IN YOUR DUNGEONS,"

He inhaled a deep breath and looked at me with angry eyes.

He looked around and started.

"This is not possible. Is this some kind of joke?"

I shook my head and called.

"Haider,"

I called him.

The silence followed for a few moments and then a slowly faded noise of footsteps approaching was heard by us.

Within a few moments, with the increase in the intensity of the noise, we all saw Ghazal with Haider.

I looked at everyone who was shocked and I noticed the faces who were not shocked at all.

And, very unsurprisingly, Ayzan and his sons were not shocked.

I gulped and looked at Haider who was helping the young, little, fragile girl walk down the path. I looked at the soldiers surrounding them for their safety and suddenly, a strong noise of sword pulling heard by me.

I quickly looked at Ayzan who tried to attack me but before his sword could reach my neck. Every soldier present in the hall whether mine or his pulled their sword out against him. They captured everyone present in the hall and I chuckled looking at myself.

His face turned shocked and he looked around to see his soldiers holding swords against his people.

"You cheated me,"

He said looking back at me and I inhaled a deep breath.

"No, you cheated me first. You killed my father,"

He gulped and took a few steps closer to me and started shaking his head.

"Aahil, my boy, who told you this? That girl, Ruhani or her father?"

He asked and I took a few steps towards him.

"No, your daughter, Rabia told me,"

"What?"

Now, he started breaking.

"No, my daughter would never do that. She knows the importance of secrets,"

He stated.

"No, your daughter told me. She sold all your secrets for a poisonous ring,"

I declared.

"What?"

He questioned.

"Where is she? What did you do to her? You were going to marry her?"

He questioned and I looked at him.

"I will tell you where your daughter is but you have to tell me why you killed my father, first,?"

I questioned and I turned to look at Haider to signal him to safely escort Ghazal from there.

He started walking back and I looked at Ayzan.

"Tell me where is my daughter?"

He asked and I looked at him.

"Look, I do not think we are negotiating here. These soldiers are waiting to feed some food to calm their Sword's hunger down. I will not repeat one more time,"

I started and took a few steps closer.

"One more thing, if you try to blabber or think that you still can make fool of me. I will not think twice to have each of your son's heads for each of your blabbers. And, you got a maximum of eight chances,"

I said looking at his eight sons present in the hall. Their hands were against their hands, ready to take them out but soldiers were already their swords at their necks.

"Aahil, please... we can talk,"

"We are talking... and I just want the reason, you see. It is not a difficult task,"

I reminded him and moved my hand towards my sword. Slowly pulling it out.

"Do not you forget who are you?"

He tried to threaten me and continued.

"Humne pala hai tumhe, tumhe hamara wafadar hona chahiye,"

"I raised you, you should be loyal towards me,"

I gulped and looked back at him with a chuckle.

"Sher paale nahi jate, unse dara jaata hai,"

"Lions are not tamed, they are scared,"

I replied back and walked towards his youngest son.

Putting my feet beside his waist on the couch, I put the sword against his neck and said.

"Your one chance is over,"

"Pleaseeeeeee... pleaseeeee.... pleaseeeeee, Stop... I will tell you... I will tell you everything,"

He begged with a shaking voice and I muttered.

"I am listening,"

I heard him breaking down behind me and he started.

"I am sorry, I am so sorry. I did not want to kill him... bu... but your mother chose him. I wanted to... marry her... but she chose your father. I just wanted revenge on your father. I just wanted her to live a life alone. I am so sorry... I was really fool, I am sorry,"

His voice was shaking and I asked.

"And, how did you kill him?"

"Aahil, Please..."

He tried to beg.

"I AM ASKING... HOW THE HELL DID YOU KILL HIM?"

I asked and took the sword closer to his son's neck.

"I... I sent my... my special soldiers after him... that time, he was visiting Darmiyan Sultanate and I found... I found that opportunity fruitful because... it would also break the friendship between these two... Sultanates. I... I planned to make the death natural as much as I could... But, that day, he took that little girl... I mean Ruhani, Rafiq's daughter along and she saw everything. I used... I mean, I left a... hungry tiger after him,"

He finished and I turned to look at him.

"Just because my mother said No to you?"

I asked.

And, he took a few steps backwards.

"I am so sorry,"

I looked at him bending down in front of me and suddenly he clapped.

And, the moment he clapped a group of soldiers jumped in between the hall from the secret hidden places and chaos happened in the whole hall room.

"Close the door,"

I ordered the head commander and looked at his eight sons pulling their swords out.

The soldiers who supported me and the soldiers who supported him started fighting and I moved my sword to tackle his eight sons who now ran in a circle towards me.

I moved my swords against them, battling the three together.

Suddenly, one of them moved his sword against my back and I turned to kill him first.

I took a few fierce steps towards him and then suddenly other two attacked my back.

I screamed and this pissed me off like hell.

In a few moments the whole hall room filled with the noise of swords clashing, blood and screams of people.

I could see a few soldiers wounded and even some dead.

I wounded his sons too but they stood up again to attack me.

My sword moved against them and one by one my sword took their life.

The combat was deadly. They gave me deep cuts on my arms, back, chest and even in my legs.

I could not walk properly now and tried to spot only one man. The Bastard Ayzan Sultan.

In the midst of people fighting, I spotted him near the door, slowly opening it.

With trembling steps, I moved towards him, slowly taking steps forward.

The blood flowed off my leg and arms but I just wanted to kill him the way he killed my father.

He succeeded in opening the door and tried to run.

I walked after him, his steps were also shaking and he suddenly pulled his sword out.

I followed him through the galleries, towards the stable. He wanted to run. He knew I could not run after him.

But, controlling my pain, I tried to move faster after him and attacked him when he was about to climb the horse.

He fell down and attacked me.

A few other soldiers of his also attacked me from behind.

I turned to tackle them and suddenly I felt a sharp knife piercing my heart from behind.

I screamed at the top of my lungs and I could feel my breath losing.

I moved my sword into the chest of soldiers and turned back to look at Ayzan.

He took a few steps backwards and I tried to hold on to my losing heartbeats.

"I will not die before killing you,"

I said and took steps forward toward him.

But, he started running and moved towards the main door.

I saw him opening the main door as all the soldiers ran from there looking at me.

My whole body was dripping blood either of his sons or mine.

I sucked on my lips to wet my drying throat and looked at him hurrying up with the door.

He was two hundred metres away from me and I could not walk properly with my wounded legs.

"FIRE THE FUCKING CANNONS,"

He screamed at the top of his lungs and I chuckled looking at him.

"There is no army for your cannons. Whom will you kill with cannons? Stupid Ayzan,"

He fastened his hand to open the door and suddenly, he did.

He opened the door and used all his strength to move the strong, heavy door even two inches forward.

He escaped and I tried to hurry up.

It took me a few moments and then I also came out of the Sultanate. I tried to spot him and my sight found him, I took out a small knife and threw it at him.

It landed right on his leg and he fell to the ground.

I walked forward to him and remembered my father. My brain was slowly shutting down, and my heartbeats fell low.

I came closer to him and he tried to stand up to attack me.

I attacked him too and his sword fell to the ground. He started crawling on the land, crying and screaming in pain.

I gulped and tightened my fist around the sword. Moving it high in the air, I swung it around his head and it fell far away from his remaining body.

"Kisi ko itna dard mat do ki vo nasur banke tumhari khudki jaan le le,"

"Do not give so much pain to someone that he becomes a canker and takes your own life,"

I muttered and fell to my knees. I bent my head down and could feel my shortening breath.

Tears fell from my eyes as I could see my end right in front of my eyes.

I remembered Ruhani and tried to catch on to my losing heartbeats.

I parted my lips and looked at the setting sun.

"Not for me, for her,"

I begged and suddenly I saw a faded picture of a horse approaching towards me.

I closed my eyes and opened them again as I thought that I already died.

But, the picture was still in front of me.

And, the thought of that horse rider being Ruhani crossed my mind and unknowingly my heartbeats started to race even after.

I made my sword stand against the earth to support me and sit like this for another passing moment.

And, suddenly the horse stopped right in front of me and she called.

"Aashiq,"

An instant smile appeared on my lips as she ran towards me and sat on her knees in front of me.

She cupped my cheeks and I tried to mutter.

"A hug... please,"

"No, no... Noooooo.... look at me... LOOK AT ME. I said,"

She yelled at me cupping my knees and she looked at me from top to bottom. Her hands turned bloodied and I tried to mutter again.

"A hug, Ruhani... please, I beg you,"

I could feel my eyes closing as my body was hurting insanely.

She looked at me with teary eyes and said.

"Look at me, please. Do not close your eyes. Where is it hurting?"

She asked and I gulped as my throat was running insanely dry.

"Back,"

I tried to say.

"What?"

"Behind me,"

I muttered in a slow voice.

She stood up immediately and walked towards my back. Suddenly, my whole body shook with extreme pain as she pulled out the dagger from my back.

I opened my eyes again and looked at the few more soldiers approaching. They stepped down the horse and I heard her last words of her.

"Take him to the Physicians,"
