"Then let them,"

He said and a slight smile appeared on my face.

"What the hell?"

Abhinandan yelled at him and looked at me with worried eyes.

"You know what she is just a trouble,"

Rudra said and I gritted my teeth angrily.

"What? What did you say?"

I roared back in anger and he looked at me with intense eyes.

"Yes, whatever they are doing is good. She played with the old King to get me. God knows if she is playing now or not. She is clearly capable of killing all of them on her own. She is just acting,"

Rudra said and Ranvijay, Agastya and Abhinandan all looked at him with shocked and worried faces.

"What are you saying? Bhaisa,"

Agastya said and I angrily gritted my teeth.

"Ohh, so you think I am playing with you all? Hnn?"

I questioned and he looked back at me with angry eyes.

"Yes,"

He said and I angrily looked at him.

"You think, this stinking man is keeping this blade on my throat with my consent? God! I did so much for you and you, bloody bastard showing your true Colors,"

I said in pure anger and he took a step forward.

"I am showing my true colours? I am? You have shown your colours? Who you really are,"

He said and I looked at the Surgami Dev Singh.

"You know what? Kill me. Ask this stupid bastard to move this blade,"

I said without fear and suddenly everyone except Rudra screamed.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Bhaisa What the hell are you doing?"

Ranvijay screamed and yelled. Agastya was confused and I looked at Abhinandan who was all set to murder him first.

"You know what? Let me kill you first, He lifted his sword,"

He said with angry eyes.

"NOOOOO, Kill me first. This man is utterly disgusting. I cannot believe how the hell I even decided to marry him,"

I yelled at him and I could sense that with the conversation everyone was turning confused.

"Yes, kill her,"

He said.

"Nooo,"

Everyone screamed.

"Yes, kill me,"

I said and Rudra met my eyes.

"Yesssss, Kill her,"

He said and I looked at his hand smartly moving to his waistband and he took out something. His eyes intensely looked at me. I looked at Surgami Dev singh who was busy looking at the quarrels.

"Noooo,"

Abhinandan screamed and suddenly Rudra moved his hand and threw the small and sharp pin towards my side. My eyes enlarged as I saw the pin coming my way and I immediately shut them and felt a strong shiver running down my spine.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

The tall man screamed all of a sudden. The tall man who was holding the knife against me screamed aloud and the knife fell from his hand. I quickly grabbed it and turned to stab the knife right into the side of his waist.

I inhaled a deep breath and pulled it out.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

He screamed even louder and took a few steps back getting unbalanced a little.

Everyone turned shocked and immediately pulled out their swords. The swords started clashing and I looked at Rudra who moved his sword against the soldiers and walked to me.

My heartbeats were racing insanely and I could not stop myself from landing a slap on his cheek.

He looked at me with shock and I said.

"Nishana chook jata to,"

"What if you missed the target?"

He chuckled and pulled me into a gentle hug.

"Ese kese, meri jaan,"

"Not possible, my love,"

He said and I felt him gently touching my head. He moved his palm on my head from the crown to the back of the head and when his fingers noticed my badly tangled hair, he broke the hug and thinned his brows looking at me.

He gulped and I could feel his heartbeats racing. He touched my hair and gently locked a strand behind my ear while gulping in anger.

I lowered my gaze and looked around at everyone busy fighting with the soldiers and he gently touched my chin to make me look at him.

He angled my face sidewards and I looked at his eyes staring at my cheek.

He inhaled a deep breath and I could sense that he was beyond angry now. He gently feathered my cheek and I closed my eyes.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

The tall man was still screaming and he moved me aside and looked at me.

"Hold this for me,"

He said giving me his sword and I took it.

Its weight immediately made me feel weak. It was heavy, heavy like I never lifted a sword like this.

I looked at him as he walked passed me to that tall man whose hand was bleeding with the thin, sharp needle blade.

Rudra landed a tight punch right at his face making him wince in pain.

He roared back at him and tried to move his fist on him. But, he was quick as he landed another punch on his face.

"Bastard. How Dare You Touch Her?"

He roared at him and grabbed his neck making him push against the tree trunk with all his strength.

Suddenly, the tall man lifted his foot and kicked Rudra's knees making him fall back on the ground.

He quickly moved up and punched in his face.

"Kaha Chacha,"

"Where Uncle?"

I heard Abhinandan and looked at him as he held Surgami Dev Singh's collar as he was trying to run away.

Abhinandan punched him in the face and he fell back too.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

I looked at Rudra again who made that dangerous man fall on his stomach. He put his one foot on his back and I saw him bending forward. He held his long and dirty hair in his hand and rolled them tightly into his fist.

My heartbeat was racing insanely and I felt like feeling scared as hell. Rudra screamed as he started pulling his hair with all his strength.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

The man screamed senselessly and I saw his head started bleeding with the pull of hair. He was screaming senselessly and I looked at everyone who stopped fighting and started watching.

My heart was beating insanely.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

The man was screaming senselessly with the pain. I looked at Rudra's hand as the veins became visible, the blood rushed to his face, and anger was clearly visible in his eyes. His chest was puffed up and he screamed using his strength.

The blood flow increased through his head and suddenly his head opened and Rudra was holding the total skin of his hair. He fell dead immediately. The small tubes came out of his head and he fell to the ground.

Rudra was panting and threw his head.

"Do not you dare touch my love,"

He said in a slow voice and looked at Surgami Dev Singh.

"Get him, chain him, throw him behind the bars,"

He ordered the soldiers and they came to chain Surgami Dev Singh.

I looked at his hands stained in blood and he looked at me.

I did not know but what he just did made me feel scared and I lowered my gaze.

I blinked and felt Abhinandan wrapping his arm around my shoulder and I immediately gave into a hug.

"I missed you, Nandani,"

He said and I closed my eyes wrapping my arm around him too.

"I missed you too, Nand,"

I said and he released the hug.

"I am sorry for whatever happened,"

He said and tears collected in my eyes.

"And, I am sorry how it happened,"

I said and I looked at Rudra as he said.

"We should head back home, you are coming too, Abhi,"

Abhinandan thinned his brows and said.

"Learn to request, man,"

Rudra inhaled a deep breath and nodded.

"Alright, you are coming too, Abhi, request,"

He said and I chuckled.

Abhinandan looked at me.

"I will never understand what you saw in him. Such an egoist he is,"

He said and I chuckled. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I hugged him again.

"You are coming, Nand,"

I said and he gently kissed my head.

"Alright, sister,"

He said and I noticed that the remaining soldiers ran from there.

I looked at Rudra rubbing his hand with a cloth and I suddenly realised that I was bare head in front of all the men.

"Come,"

Rudra said and I looked at Abhi. He smiled and nodded.

"We are coming behind,"

He said and I walked towards Rudra.

He helped me climb his horse and then climbed behind me.

I feel timid as the soldiers, my brother and even my brother-in-law were watching us.

He loosely wrapped his arms around me to grab the ropes of the horse and pulled them slowly. The horse started to move and he said.

"We will see you there,"

He said and turned the horse back and it started running.

We came a little far from them and he stopped the horse near a running stream.

He stepped down the horse and made me step down too.

"What happened?"

I asked not understanding his emotions. It was dark, we were alone and there was silence everywhere.

He held my hand and made me walk towards the stream. The winds were strong, the weather was turning chilly. He stopped and made me look at him. He held my fingers and gently placed his lips over my fingers. He kissed softly and closed his eyes.

I gulped seeing him turning emotional. He looked at me and pulled me closer in a hug. Wrapping his hands around me, he tightened his grip and pulled me up. I spread my arms around his shoulders and my face adjusted in the corner of his neck.

"Not finding you in the chamber made me feel how fear feels for the first time in my life. For the first time, I felt what is it to feel a scary shiver run down my spine. For the first time, I felt what it feels to be scared as hell, to feel the lump in the throat, to feel the panic, to feel the thundering before your very eyes. I felt that and for a moment I felt as if I died,"

He said and I closed my eyes able to feel his emotions. He tightened his grip around me and kissed my neck softly and lovingly.

 "I am sorry,"

I said and he inhaled a deep breath close to my neck.

"I do not know how to say to make you feel the actual depth of it but I love you so much. I did not love you back then like that but now I feel like I cannot exist without you, like I cannot stay away from you, like I cannot breathe without you. When I did not find you in the chamber, I felt like my life was finished and the mere thought of something happening to you shook me to the core. I never felt this Nandani, never for anyone. This was something I never experienced. Please, I beg you, never leave me. If you ever get mad beyond control at me, kill me instead but do not leave me. I cannot exist without you,"

He said and I could feel the pain in his voice. I closed my eyes as I could feel that he was crying. His voice had turned hoarse.

"I will never,"

I managed to say and cupped the back of his head.

"Promise me, Nandani. I was never able to understand this feeling but now I know and I never want to feel it, please, promise me,"

He said and I could feel his voice shaking, his hold tightened around me and I nodded.

"Yes, I promise, I promise, Rudra,"

I said and he stayed like that for the next few moments and I could not stop myself from kissing his neck.

"We should head back to Empire,"

I said and he inhaled a deep breath and gently put me down. I saw his red, tearful eyes and he leaned in to kiss my forehead and I smiled weakly.

"Yes, Abhi will get suspicious if we get late,"

He said and I chuckled.

"Yes, I think, he will,"

He smiled and we walked back to the horse.

"I think, I have to tell you something about Abhi,"

He said and I thinned my brows looking at him.

"What? I think everything is now sorted between you,"

I said and he nodded weakly.

"Yes, kind of, but it will be okay. It is something else,"

He said and made me sit on the horse.

He also sat behind and we started heading back to the Empire.

"What is it?"

I asked.

"The man seems in Love,"

He said and I immediately looked at him above my shoulder.

"WHAT?????"

I was amazed, surprised and mostly shocked.
