Nandani POV

My body shivered insanely with the thought that ran through my brain. I could not believe it.

"Suman, Reva, is anybody there,"

I called with all my strength and looked around helplessly to find something sharp.

He could be here any moment.

I walked towards the mirror and table. Opening the drawers quickly with fright I tried to search for a knife, blade, or anything.

Suddenly, the door to my bedroom pushed open and I got scared as hell.

My sight fell on Surgami Dev Singh and a group of soldiers. I took my steps back and tried to look around to find something.

Where he could have put any of those?

With my shivering body, I tried to think and think.

"Stay away from me,"

I managed to roar back as the soldiers stepped inside my chamber and took the steps forward.

"Do not worry, Queen, they would not harm you but I will,"

The old King said and suddenly my sight fell on the table near the couch.

Yes, he sits there usually so if anyone would attack he would grab the knife from there.

I looked at the soldiers trying to run towards me and I ran towards the couch. I bent forward and tried to search for the knife if there was any.

Please, please, please.

I silently begged and looked at the soldiers coming forward.

And, that's it. My fingers touched something hard, cold and metallic below the table. I immediately grabbed it and took out the knife.

The soldier was about to touch my arm and before he could, I pressed the knife right into his throat. With his towering position over me, his blood fell over my nightgown and I pulled the knife back.

"Bastard,"

I cursed in my breath and he fell dead on the ground.

The other soldiers got alert for a moment and I looked at them with the gritted teeth.

"What are you looking at? She is just a girl,"

Surgami Dev Singh said and I could not stop myself from chuckling.

"Yes, I am the girl,"

I said and inhaled a deep breath while walking towards the group of soldiers. My grip on the blade tightened and my eyes scanned the naked, sharp and long swords those soldiers were carrying.

They were around fifty in number and thinking of attacking me in smaller groups. Not to miss that they were not here to kill me but to Kidnap me.

Suddenly, my sight fell on Suman who just entered the chamber and her eyes widened with the view. I looked intensely at her and shook my head to not scream. I carefully signalled her to leave.

She went from there and suddenly five of the soldiers ran to me with their swords high. I was feeling frightened yet powerful to press my small knife against them.

The chiselling sound echoed in the chamber as my knife collided with swords. The soldiers were clearly distracted a little by my outfit and open hair and I used it for my benefit as whenever their eyes were locked on my face, I moved my knife into their body.

"Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,"

The soldier screamed as I pushed the blade inside his heart and he fell down.

I looked at another, who aggressively attacked me and I pressed my knife against his sword. His weight overpowered me and I bent backwards. My knees were trembling and I tried to concentrate on my breathing, the sharp side of the sword almost reached my neck and I was trying to do my best to hold it against my blade.

My heartbeats were racing insanely, the drop of sweat rolled down the curl of my hair strand through my forehead and my gaze lowered feeling incapable of holding myself. And, then suddenly my sight fell on his waist. He also had a knife.

I quickly moved my hand to the knife and in a fraction of a moment, I pulled it and swift it around his neck and he immediately fell to the ground. The drops of his blood fell on my neck and jaw and I breathed heavily all of sudden.

Now, both my hands carrying the knives and I courageously walked towards the other soldiers. One of them, I tried to attack them.

But, suddenly, a man stepped forward. He was beyond seven feet, massively built and dangerous beyond measure. His body was stinking, his teeth could tell that he had not even taken a bath since he was born.

"Take her,"

Surgami Dev Singh said in his roaring yet skow and that man immediately held my hair in his fist.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,"

A loud cry escaped my lips the moment he hurtfully grabbed my hair.

"Leave me,"

I screamed at the top of my lungs and I tried to put the blade into his chest. But, he immediately held my hands powerfully. The leftover bangles on my wrist broke and I could feel the pieces of the blade piercing my wrist.

Tears collected in my eyes and I tried to push my other hand, which reached the side of his waist. He groaned in pain in an animalistic way and his hold even tightened on my hair. He tried to pull my hair and I stood on my toes screaming aloud.

"Leave me, I will kill you, bastard,"

I tried to alert him but he was paying no attention at all.

"This way, Rakhtbhook, quick,"

Surgami Dev singh said and I felt him literally dragging me with my hair behind Surgami Dev Singh. They walked out of the bedroom and I looked at the dead corpses of soldiers in the hallway as they took me to the other parts of the chamber.

And, as I guessed he stopped in front of the ninth part and I could look at the opened door.

"You know, each one of you will be dead before tomorrow's sunrise,"

Surgami Dev Singh laughed and they took me inside that ninth chamber. His gigantic hand still holding my hair and I was screaming all the while.

My sight looked at the darkness and then a dark, small black door. The soldiers stepped forward and opened the door which seems like too heavy as around twenty soldiers helped to open that door. It was pure iron.

The soldiers took the fire torches and they took me inside the door. My heartbeats were racing insanely as I was feeling scared as hell when they closed the door behind me. Darkness was around and it seemed like an underground pathway. There was unpleasant warmness, unhygienic and no noise except our footsteps of ours.

They kept walking, taking me away from there through this secret passage.

My bare feet hurt while walking on the stone pathway beneath me. After a long and painful walk, the channel opened into a dark forest. There was darkness all around, no noise and I did not know where they took me.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I was feeling frightened now. They all were sick, especially the one who was holding my hair.

"Where are the hell are you taking me?"

I yelled at them despite feeling scared.

"I will kill you,"

Surgami Dev Singh said and I inhaled a deep breath looking at him and chuckled.

"I think your brain is too old to understand the consequences of killing me,"

I said to him and the hold of this dangerous man tightened on my hair, making me wince in pain insanely.

"Aaaahhhhhhhh,"

I cried and looked at him.

"Leave my hair, he will kill you,"

I warned him looking at him and he laughed at me.

"You would not be alive to see that,"

Surgami Dev Singh said and I looked at him with gritted teeth.

"Why do you want to kill me?"

I asked and he chuckled.

"You took me as a fool. You used me. He betrayed me for the throne and I will take you from him,"

He said like a mad person and I thinned my brows.

"Can you even hear yourself,"

I said and suddenly this tall and dangerous man landed a tight slap across my cheek making me wince in terrible pain in no moment.

Everyone laughed and now I was feeling beyond angry.

Tears rolled down my cheeks and he lifted me up on his shoulders to carry me.

"Leave me, I said,"

My voice increased and I tried to hit him with my fists but nothing was working on him.

They started walking and I did not know where they were taking me now. I tried to look around and recognize something, anything but there were just trees, darkness and nothing.

I closed my eyes and prayed to the mighty God to protect me from these insane men.

Suddenly, when I opened my eyes, my sight fell on a dark shadow of someone hiding behind the trees. And, when she peaked out of the darkness, I recognized her.

It was Suman.

She was following us.

But, I showed her my palm smartly to tell her not to follow me but rather go back to that cave and ask for help.

She went back and these men kept walking and took me to a really isolated place, I did not know about.

The men put me down and I threw my hair back.

I chuckled and looked at all the soldiers looking at me like like I was the prey.

"Now, let's see how long your dear husband can protect you from getting killed. We can only wait till the first spark of the morning,"

Surgami Dev Singh said and I laughed at him. I did not know what his words made me laugh to my fullest and my stomach started to hurt.

"Such a fool, if you want to kill me, kill me now. Because upon his arrival, you will be counting the moments to breathe,"

I said and his smile vanished a little.

And, suddenly the tall man landed another tight slap on my cheeks and I looked at him with anger.

My gaze sharpened at him and he was looking back at me angrily too.

And, suddenly I burst into laughter.

Tears fell from my eyes and I laughed looking at him. I did not know but I was feeling like laughing so much.

His face changed and I looked at soldiers who were looking confused too.

I inhaled a deep breath and did not say anything.

I could not save them if they were so desperate for the grave.

I looked at the sky and smiled.

I closed my eyes and I could his presence close.

"One,"

I breathed.

"Two,"

I said.

"Three,"

I roared and looked at Surgami Dev singh to see the expression on his face changing from happiness to fright as the faded noise of footsteps of horses became audible and started to grow.

"Take the positions,"

He said to the soldiers and I looked at everyone pulling out the blades and swords and bringing them in front. They all surrounded us and I looked at the dangerous man to ask.

"So, you want to be dead first? right,"

He looked at me and his nostrils flared and he immediately took the blade from a soldier and grabbed my neck and placed it neatly just an inch away from my neck.

I did not know why I was feeling like laughing at this poor man and these stupid soldiers who were working for this old brat.

The footsteps of horses grew stronger and now I could even see the brightnessss through the trees.

A few more moments and my sight fell on my dear husband with a naked sword in hand, blood stains on his clothes and jaw. Beside him, there was my dear brother with the sword and my brother-in-laws with the soldiers.

They stepped down the horses and I looked at Rudra who was looking around, scanning the soldiers and then looking at me.

I inhaled a deep breath when his eyes looked into mine from afar and he said.

"Comfortable? Little bird,"

I smiled a little and replied.

"Clearly not,"

He smiled a little and I knew he could not move forward as my throat was at the mercy of the dangerous man.

"Its good too,"

He said and I looked at Abhi, who was seeming completely changed. He grabbed his collar in anger and yelled.

"Are you stupid? They will kill her?"

Rudra looked back into his eyes and said without any two thoughts.

"Then let them,"
