"She's waking up!" The person's eye opened up slowly,her vision is a little bit blur so she had to blink a few times to get a clear view. She could see someone staring at her which made her uncomfortable,though it was soon replaced by curiosity.

"Hello Miss Ruby." A nurse greeted with a smile of relief.

"Miss Ruby? Sorry what?" The woman named Ruby asked,making the nurse's smile soon fade.

"I-Its your name,Ruby..Do you not remember?" The nurse asked again.

The patient then took a slight thought of it,before facing the nurse.

"No..I cannot remember what happened nor anything,did something happened? Why am I in a hospital?" The nurse continued to frown but gave a small sorrowful smile.

"Wait here for awhile,I'll get the doctor." The nurse said while waving goodbye to her and left,leaving Ruby all alone on her bed. She eventually got up,only to feel pain on almost half of her body. She's like a mummy since every inch of her body is covered in bandages,she wondered on what was the cause of all this. Suddenly the door slammed open,making her startled as 5 people entered her room.

"Uhh—He-Hello? Can I help you?" She asked,feeling more uncomfortable and curious as to why a bunch of strangers are here.

"Ru-Ruby?Its me?! Do you not remember?" A auburn haired woman asked.

"Sorry,I don't remember...Who are you?" She asked awkwardly,only for the auburn haired woman to approach her and hugged her tightly while crying.

"I'm sorry..Who are you? And why are you crying? Do we have some sort of connection?" Ruby asked again,making the stranger cry more before pulling away to meet her gaze.

"Its me,Guinevere. Your best friend,we met when we were in highschool." The woman named Guinevere answered as tears continued to flow.

"Oh..I'm really sorry Ms.Guinevere but I really don't remember." She gave out a small smile but that doesn't make it any better.

"Who are they?" Ruby asked while pointing at the 4 people standing still,just looking at her.

"The brown haired boy is Gusion,my boyfriend. The Fussia haired girl is Lesley,together with her boyfriend Granger—who is like your big emo brother and the last one is Martis...Uh..your friend too." Guinevere introduced them as they gave out a sorrowful look,awkwardly waving their hands.

"I see.." The doctor soon arrived with the nurse and told them about her conditions. The doctor told everyone that Ruby had a car accident and due to the strong impact,resulted in memory lost or amnesia. He even announced about the condition of her husband and that he's fine and didn't have Amnesia,though things got intense when the doctor called the 5 visitors out to have a private talk,leaving the nurse and Ruby to interact for distraction.

"I know I shouldn't meddle with things but as a doctor, I ask. Has your friend suffered on some kind of beatings? Cause based on my records,she has a bunch of wounds and cuts around her—especially on her arms. Some of her bruises were fading that were like years ago while some are fading completely fine." The doctor was in worry as he checked the records of the patient,making the 5 look uncomfortable.

"About that..Ruby suffered a lot during highschool and college which made her go suicidal. We did everything we could to make her feel better,which was a success and was living a good life as progress. We understand the worries for your patient,thank you for telling us. Though might I ask,is there a possible way that she could remember everything and when will Ruby be free?" Guinevere said.

"She'll be free for a week and about her memory loss..Hmm..I think there's a chance that she could remember it,though please make it easier for her, so she won't be pressured or overwhelmed." Everyone thanked the doctor as he called for the nurse and left,even leaving out a goodluck. The 5 went inside again to see Ruby reading a book, Their gazes met with each other once again.

"Hello everyone,Did the doctor say anything important?" The 5 looked at each before looking back at their friend.

"Well...Just talking about your husband,cause soon he'll be awake." Guinevere answered while giving a small smile.

"Oh..I see."

"Excuse me Miss." A male voice said to a female receptionist who's on the phone.

"Yes?" The receptionist turned to face the male.

"Can you tell me which room Ruby is?"

"Is she your relative on some sort? Also,Aren't you a patient?" That's when the male slammed his hands hard on the desk,glaring at the receptionist while smiling.

"She's my wife and I would very much appreciate is you tell me what floor she's in." The tone of his voice was threatening while his smile stayed the same. Soon,he 'thanked' the receptionist who is still in fear from the male,she soon dialled a number to talk to someone.

While Ruby's friends were filling up about some of her past and their relationship,they were quite surprised that she remembered them easily. Though they were careful not to fill in too much so she doesn't get overwhelmed,even gave her the time to process her bad past before telling another.

"I see..I can remember now. Wow." Ruby said but soon felt tear which made the 5 panic.

"A-Ah! Ah! Don't worry about it,its all in the past anyways. Besides,you showed them at how tough you are!" Lesley said even if her voice was on panic that she started to sway her arms around.

"Lesley's right,you're like the Ruby Gem. Who's so tough and even beautiful!" Gusion chimed in.

The rest nodded their heads in agreement,before the doors open to see a familiar face.

"Quinten?" Granger spoked out first to see the male infront of them.

"Hey guys,its me Quinten. Missed me?" The guy named Quinten said,giving off a happy aura around them.

"Yo! Been a long time man,how are your injuries?" Gusion said while approaching the male as they gave each other a high-five. The male approached everyone and gave them each a high-five before going next to Ruby,who had a cute curious expression on her face.

"How are you doing love? Feeling good?" He asked taking her hand and kissing it.

"A-are you my husband?" Ruby questioned that soon made the male's face in complete shock. Before he could ask,Guinevere pulled him away to the outside,excusing themselves so she could fill in the details. After a few minutes later,they soon returned with Quinten understanding the situation.

"I'm sorry this happened to you Love. Now that I'm here,I will take the responsibility to take care of you always." He said and gave her a quick kiss on her cheek,smiling at how cute her expression is.

"Umm..Ok..Thank you." Was all she could muster while eyeing everyone around her. That's when her eyes landed unto Martis',looking all sad that she wondered why. He eventually took notice of this as they stared at each other,as if they had something going on. They were soon interrupted when Granger stepped between them to ask a question.

After 2 weeks,Ruby and Quinten are out of the hospital. Everyone of their friends made a celebration unto their recovery. Ruby regain some her memories when she interacted with them, though the feeling of Happiness didn't last long...She felt something off on this atmosphere,almost suffocating. She looked around the crowd,only to see everyone happy.

"Hey.." Someone grabbed her shoulder,cause Ruby to yelp and backed away. Soon recovered when she saw the person.

"Oh..Hello Martis..Its just you." Ruby gave a sigh of relief,making the man infront of her confuse.

"Why? Is there something wrong?" He asked.

"Oh..No! No! No! Its nothing,just felt something off but I don't know what. Anyways,Is there something you wanted to tell me?" The Maiden gave a smile that made the Male blush as he looked away while covering his mouth. He soon recovered fast and took the courage to gaze back at Ruby.

"I- I-...Just wanted to say that..If you ever need me or someone like Guinevere,feel free to call us." Before Ruby could respond,he immediately left with a sad expression as he clutch his chest,feeling the immense pain that he's feeling. The maiden eventually took noticed of it and was about to approach Martis,when her husband interrupted.

"Hey Love,Let's go. The Party's almost over and its already getting late,you still need some rest." Quinten said while dragging her to join with Guinevere. Ruby wanted to reject the offer and was looking around for Martis,only to find him nowhere,so she just let it slide.

"Martis..."

"We're home!" Quinten cheered as he and his wife finally arrived their home. They waved 'thanked' then waved their goodbyes to the people on the vehicle. The male first unlocked the door of the house then let his wife enter first before him. Unfortunately for Ruby,instead of being happy at the sight of their home,her instincts were telling her that something is not right.

"Our Bedroom is just on the left on the second floor,I'll just check something on the backyard. Is that ok Love?" Ruby could only nod her head then proceeded to go to their Bedroom.

After arriving their Bedroom,she begun to check everywhere if something is going to trigger a memory for her to remember. She could definitely see the photos that were placed for them to see. After checking the Bedroom,she begun to explore their home since curiosity is in her vocabulary,especially when you have amnesia.

Soon enough,she lastly went to the Kitchen. Checking everywhere while getting a piece of cookie from a jar,nothing so far happened. Deciding to wait for her husband,she went back to their Bedroom and already on the bed with a book on her hand. Just as she was about to fall asleep for like minutes,she heard a small break causing her to jolt up. Without thinking,she quickly got off the bed to check on what's going on or what is happening?

This led her to the kitchen,their on the ground was a shattered mug. She sighed then went to locate on where the brooms are. Though,before she could go upstairs,her vision soon slowly faded and before she could black out. The last thing she saw, was a smile— A small sorrowful smile.

"W-What?"
