"Are you ready?"

"Why am I doing this?"

"Because you love her."

"No I -"

"Don't fucking say it. You promised."

Silence

"Okay fine I'm ready."

Jaebum was planning this surprise for a week. And he dragged Youngjae into the plan too. (Sure Jaebum had to coax him with a couple of kisses on the cheek but it worked out in the end.)

Jaebum burst into Mrs. Choi's room, "HAPPY MOTHER's DAY MOOM!!!!"

Youngjae sighed and blew the party horn with a straight face.

Jaebum quickly walked over to Mrs. Choi who was still in bed and placed the tray in front of her.

Mrs. Choi squealed and clapped her hands, "This looks so good!! Did you guys make this?"

"No we orde-"
Youngjae was cut off by Jaebum elbowing him.

"Yup!"

Mrs. Choi chuckled and held her arms open, waiting for a hug.

Jaebum lit up and jumped on the bed, almost landing in the food. He bear hugged Mrs. Choi and pecked her cheek.

"Thank you for everything" he said, giving her one last squeeze.

Mrs. Choi laughed and motioned for Youngjae to come closer.
Youngjae pretended to be annoyed but he happily walked into her arms.
Mrs. Choi smiled and hugged the two together.
"Oh my boys. Promise me we'll be like this."

"Like what?"

"Like a married couple and the mother in law."

"YAH."

She laughed when she heard the two yell.

She pushed them away, "Scram you two. Isn't it time for Jaebum's training?"

Jaebum opened the door of the mansion and was immediately attacked by a small blue blur.

He screamed as Luhan attached himself on him.

"AREN'T YOU GOING TO WISH ME?!"

Youngjae rolled his eyes and peeled the small man off of Jaebum.

Jaebum bent over and clutched his racing heart as he tried to recover from the scare.

"You're not a mom."

"Yes I am."

"To who?"

"You!"

Youngjae dead panned, "Oh really?!"

Luhan nodded, "You see. I bottom, therefore I am the wife. And since I'm training Jaebum. I'm his enchanting mom."

Youngjae scrunched his face, "That's gross. I did not need to know that."

"You know, they call me a power botto-"

Youngjae slammed a hand over Luhan's mouth and turned to Jaebum, who was staring at the quizzically.

"Youngjae, what does he mean by bottom?"

"SEE WHAT YOU DID!"

Youngjae took a sip from a water bottle and faced Luhan again.

"Why do I need to learn this?"

"Enchanters usually have a partner. An amplifier. You'll learn more about that next week. I have a friend coming in."

"You didn't answer my question."

"What if Jaebum is in the middle of an important, complicated spell? And there's bad guys trying to hurt the little bean? What would you do?"

"Protect him."

"Exactly. I'm teaching you how."

Youngjae sighed, "If this is a benefit for Jaebum then fine."

Luhan smiled and clapped his hands, "Good! Next is teaching you about pig bombs."

"Oh god."

On the other side of the training room, Jaebum was facing Lay.

"Okay. We're going to try something easy. What's an animal you see a lot."

"Coco."

"Okay good. Imagine coco, how he looks, how he acts, the size of him, everything."

Lay closed his eyes and Jaebum did the same.
They shot open when Jaebum heard a faint poof.

He opened his eyes to see a small white dog in front of him.

"OH MY GOD."

Puppy-Lay barked and Jaebum giggled. He was about to close his eyes and try for himself when he heard a loud SQUEAALL.

He turned to the noise and gasped when he saw Youngjae standing there, horror stricken, with a pig in front of him.
Puppy-Lay quickly changed back into a human- Lay and raced over to Youngjae.

"What happened?!"

"He- he was teaching me how to use pig bombs and I dropped one and.... HE'S A FUCKING PIG."

Youngjae winced when Pig-Luhan squealed at him.
"I'm sorry Luhan, I really am."

Pig- Luhan turned his head and looked away, as if he was giving the cold shoulder to Youngjae.

Lay stifled a laugh and waved his hand. Pig-Luhan immediately changed into normal Luhan.

Well, a fuming Luhan.

Youngjae's eyes widened as he stared at the angry man.

"TEN LAPS GO."

"Bu-"

"DID I SAY YOU COULD TALK? RUN TWINKLE TOES."

Youngjae took off in a sprint.

Once he was out of earshot, Luhan giggled.

Jaebum turned to him, not saying anything in case the older man would make him run too.

And Jaebum and running do not get along.

"Oh my god, he looked like he was about to shit his pants!"
Luhan wheezed as he doubled over with laughter.

Lay rolled his eyes and pushed Luhan lightly, "You asshat, always loving to scare the kids."

"You know it."

Jaebum broke out in a smile as Youngjae zoomed past them, "He's going to run ten laps isn't he?"

"Yup!"

Shorter chapter then usual but HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

If you celebrate Mother's Day, then go and give ur mom the biggest hug in the world Bc she deserves it.
I wouldn't be the person I am today without my mom.
