Nightmares 1
RT_Strawhat_Ninja: so I got back in to tumblr. And while I was there, I saw this adorable comic of Sanji and Nami comforting each other after nightmares and I just wanna do this because Sanji & Nami are my OTP and I might write a full story for them at some point.
ANYWAYS. This isn't just Sanji & Nami. I'll do another part for Aisuru & Luffy, but my OTP must feel my love!

Nami's POV
I gasped and sat up in my bed, my entire body shaking. I sighed and swept my sweat soaked bangs away from my forehead. I looked over to the side, astonished I hadn't woken up any of the other girls.
Normally, when I have nightmare, Aisuru hears me. She'll wake me up immediately and cuddle me in her fox form to help me calm down.
I noticed Aisuru curled up on the bookshelf in her fox form as she always slept. Soft snores escaped her fox body. Of course she'd be tuckered out after how much attention Luffy had been giving her last night.
Sometimes I was jealous of the relationship between Aisuru and Luffy. Seeing them being so cute together and seeing them so... perfect for each other. I was jealous. While I never thought of marriage before, I did often think about having a relationship.
I shook my head. I thought back over my nightmare. The day Bellemere died. I felt tears rise to my eyes again. I shook myself quickly. I stood up and silently left the room. Maybe a walk would clear my head.
I stepped out in to the cool morning air. The sun was barely starting to touch the sky. I shivered at how cold it actually was.
"Nami-swan?" I heard. I turned and saw Sanji heading up to the kitchen.
"Sanji? What are you doing up so early?" I asked.
"I'm always up around this time to start on breakfast. What has you up so early?" He asked. I was surprised he wasn't falling all over me like normal.
"Oh.. I... Uh... just woke up and... couldn't go back to sleep..." I said. Sanji frowned.
"You're shaking... Did you have a nightmare, Nami-swan?" He asked. I looked away, not wanting to talk about it.
"Here, I'll make you some tea." He said, offering his hand to me. He watched me with careful eyes. Slowly, I reached out and took his hand. He lead me in to the kitchen. I sat in my usual place. He draped a red blanket around my shoulders.
"You keep a spare blanket in the kitchen?" I asked.
"Sometimes Luffy and Usopp's snoring and sleep talking get too loud and I'll come and sleep in here." He said. I nodded and he set down the warm tea in front of me. I thanked him and took a sip. My hands were still shaking.
"Nami." Sanji called as he sat beside me.
"Hm?" I hummed.
"What did you dream that has you so shaken?" He asked. I bit my lip. I really didn't want to talk about it.
"You can talk to me, Nami. I won't tell anyone else. If you need to talk, I'm here." He said. My heart skipped a beat. He moved to put his cigarette out. My hand shot out and stopped him.
"No. Don't put your cigarette out." I said.
"Are you sure it's fine?" He asked. I nodded.
"Yeah. It's fine." I said. I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I could see Bellemere smiling at me. I smiled softly.
"Feel better?" He asked. I smiled and took his free hand in mine. I enjoyed the feeling of his large hand holding mine. It felt warm.
"Is his how Aisuru feels when Luffy holds her hand?" I wondered. I chuckled to my self.
"Hm? What is it?" Sanji asked. I shook my head.
"Nothing. Just a girl thing." I said. Sanji smiled softly down at me. I released him and let him start breakfast.
Sanji's turn
Sanji's POV
"Father, please!"
I shot up, falling from my hammock and too the ground, almost hitting Zoro. Lucky for me, no one woke up, still snoring loudly and Brook humming in his sleep. My entire body shook as the memory played over in my head.
"No, Sanji. That's the past. It's behind you. He can't hurt you now." I thought to myself. I pulled myself up and decided to make myself some coffee to calm myself before I got started on breakfast. I woke up an hour earlier than normal.
I exited the room and headed for the kitchen. The memory flashed in my eyes and stopped me again, shudders over taking my body.
"It's not there." I whispered to myself.
"Sanji?" I heard. I turned towards the door. I saw Nami standing there in her pajamas. In her arm was a book. She had a concerned look on her face.
"O-oh. N-Nami. Here, I'll make you some tea." I said and got to work on the tea for her. My hands were shaking so bad that I spilt the tea a bit while pouring it.
"Sanji, is everything okay?" Nami asked me.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Why do you ask?" I lied. Nami frowned softly at me. She gently grabbed my hands.
"Sanji, you always comfort me, let me do that same for you." She said. My heart leaped in my chest.
"N-Nami-swan?" I asked. She pulled my spare blanket around my shoulders.
"You'll catch a cold." She sighed and pulled it tight. She stared in to my eyes for a second, then hugged me.
"Sanji, I don't know why you feel the need to lie to me, but if you ever need to talk. I'm here." She said. I wrapped my arms around her in a tight hug. I felt a warm feeling spread over my entire body.
"... Thank you, Nami." I breathed. I felt my shaking subside as she tightened the hug. Finally, we parted and I got started on breakfast.
Extra
Nami's POV
"Hey, Aisuru? Can I ask you something?" I asked my red haired friend as we sipped on the smoothies Sanji made for us.
"Hm? What is it, Nami?" She asked. Her golden eyes blinking at me curiously.
"When Luffy holds your hand, does it make you feel warm?" I asked. She blinked owlishly at me.
"Well, yeah, Nami. That's really the best way to describe the feeling of love. It like it's always cold, but his touch warms me." She said.
"For a goofy and childish fox, she sure can be intelligent sometimes." I thought.
"Why do you ask, Nami?" She asked. I smiled and swung my feet off the lounging chair.
"No reason~" I hummed. I turned towards the kitchen where Sanji was preparing our afternoon snacks. I believe I need to tell something to that goofy blonde.
