Ginger ate the "shadow-shadow" devil fruit. You'd think its a lot like the dark-dark devil fruit that dickbag Teach has, however, there are differences.

Ginger can not create shadows from her body. She can only expand existing shadows. She can craft shadows in to weapons and objects, but she can't do the things Teach can, like absorbing things in to the shadows and destroying them.

Though, a showdown between a Teach and Ginger would be something.

Also, just like how Ace and Smoker cancel each other out, Ginger and Kizaru would cancel each other out.
