So uh... what if RQ, but Sabre's axe isn't for chopping wood?

In this AU, Sabre was living in a town full of his friends before going to the RQ world. He was just living life, being happy... when lunatic raiders found their town. These raiders were known for pillaging towns and killing everyone in sight, giving their spoils to their leader, and Sabre's town had not known of the warning as they lived far from other civilizations. When they were found by the raiders, the raiders did just as their legend says and destroyed everything, and killed everyone Sabre cared for. Sabre got away because Lucas and Ryan were able to shove him into a hiding place after he was injured, before being caught and killed themselves. The raiders never found him, and left after reducing the town to rubble and ash.

Sabre eventually recovered from his injuries, but never really recovered mentally. He went insane, driven by revenge for his lost friends. Picking up a highly enchanted netherite axe, Sabre hunted down the raiders and destroyed their base, killing most of them. For years, Sabre kept hunting down the lunatic raiders, them always trying to find reinforcements to beat the insane axe wielder. Over the years, Sabre was able to get a bit of a better grasp on his sanity, but never a complete one.

One day, Sabre had just fought a huge legion of raiders, about 100 of them. He was severely injured, and was about to go back to his base, when he heard a horn. Hundreds more raiders came over the hill, and Sabre had no choice but to run into the forest, the lunatic raiders giving chase.

Sabre jumps into the cave where the tomb is to hide, only for Void to drag him into the RQ world, Sabre being unable to fight back because of his injuries. When he arrives out of the portal into Red's house, he can't run anymore as his injuries are too severe, which forces him to cooperate with the stranger in front of him. A decision he would never regret.

Sabre does in fact become friends with the Steves he meets, and is the funny guy we all know to them. However, since he doesn't have a full  hold on his sanity, he goes a little nuts when someone hurts those he cares about.

During the day, it only takes the appearance of anger outbursts and no hesitance to fight whoever's threatening his Steve friends (Ex; Nightmare, Reverse). It's at night when the hunt begins.

Taking his axe, a dark cloak, and a terrifying mask, Sabre disguises himself and leaves the Rainbow Hub after everyone else falls asleep to find his enemies. If it's one that's no big deal, like a group of Darkness, he kills them quickly and leaves a symbol of an axe at the scene. If they're a bigger deal however, like Nightmare, he terrifies them by killing those around them and chasing them, although not killing the enemy themselves, as that enemy suddenly dying would be suspicious.

Sabre must keep this secret close, as the Steves would definitely panic if they learned that their foreign friend is an axe murderer. The only one who finds this out is Reverse, who was being a stalker late at night and saw Sabre leave the house, axe in hand. He got a pretty nasty slash scar on his face from that encounter.

 Not even Shadow would know, as he is his own being and couldn't look through Sabre's memories to find out, as Sabre found a way to lock his memories from being looked at while in that world. Shadow would be one of the people that get hunted, though  =)

I'll probably draw his design later, but Sabre is covered in scars and all his clothes are a lil bit ripped up in this AU as well :>

(He's also 7'8" so he's taller than literally everyone-)
