I had the idea that what if Sabre was part of a species that had always lived in the RQ world, but were thought to either be just a fairytale or extinct? They're called Omniprisms :)

Omniprisms often appear to look ethereal and colorful, think of them kind of like fairies that also resemble bird people, I guess? Here's a base for them:

Omniprisms are very skittish, and hide at the first notice of someone else being in the area. Whenever they're outside their kingdom, they have cloaks to cover their faces and wings.

The reason why they're so skittish is because when they did socialize with people, it was during the events of SL, and that... wasn't exactly a good first impression. So, they went into hiding, and since they were never really close to the Steves, they were remembered as only a fairytale.

However, shortly after they went into hiding, there was one kingdom they became close with. After the Red Steve went into hiding as well, they kept running into each other while cloaked and out for supply runs, so without really knowing what each other were they became friends. They have meeting spots between the two kingdoms.

I'll probably make a short story with this later, I'm using all my motivation rn on a big animation :)
