Destiny's Blessing AU 💛

OKAY REAL QUICK EXPLAINATION-

This is a different concept of the Enchanter AU that Voilaxy has claimed from me (and already made a book about).

"But you already gave it away, you can't-"

Shush. Lemme explain it further.

In the rules of claiming AUs, it's okay to make a different concept of an AU someone has already claimed, if you ask them first (I already asked Voilaxy). Thing is, after reading the prologue of Voilaxy's book for the Enchanter AU, I came up with more ideas to what I thought of while making the concept chapter... which completely contradict what Voilaxy is doing with it. However, when putting the AU up for claiming, I didn't think I would think of more ideas for the base AU. Boy, was I wrong.

The best I can explain it is it's like when you finish a project for school, turn it in, but then an hour later think of things to change about it, but it's too late because you already turned it in :\

This AU will have similar thing with the Enchanter AU, but the differences are:

- Sabre will have an entirely different design

- The backstory and story throughout the events of RQ will be completely different

- This version is gonna be a lot less... angsty than Voilaxy's version based off what they're doing with the Enchanter AU already

I'm putting the separate design for this AU at the end of the chapter... later lol. It's 2:30 AM while I'm finishing this and I'm tired.

NOW ON WITH THE ACTUAL STORY OF THE AU, FINALLY-

============================================================

Sabre is still the creator of Origin. He is still The First Blessing, having also created the world of RQ and giving it life and creatures of the land, skies, and sea. This makes Origin technically The Second Blessing, as Sabre intended for him to be a blessing to the world, watching over it and giving it sentient beings to rule over it in their own ways. Origin, wanted to continue the line, created the Enchanter later on soon after creating the Steves. However, the Enchanter became corrupted due to some unknown reason. Maybe he was acting on his own motives, maybe there was a mistake in his process of creation, nonetheless he soon became The First Curse.

It was a long fight, Sabre and Origin fighting against The First Curse to keep him from destroying the world they worked so very hard to build. Countless days, spent lighting up the skies with fire, lightning, and other powerful offense abilities, when suddenly the fighting ceased one day.

The First Curse had been sealed inside the Armor by Origin, who used nearly all of his power to do so... however, the victory didn't come without a price. As Origin tried to corner the Curse, Sabre was helping him using his many powers, although had overused them and tired himself out during the struggle. The First Curse used this as an opportunity to catch him off-guard, and encased Sabre within stone, cursing him to be sealed away inside it until something equal to the Curse's own power would come into contact with it.

Unable to reverse his creator's state after using all of his power in sealing away the Curse, Origin did the only thing he could; he placed Sabre's cursed form into a temple he made himself, the four-pointed star symbol of Origin himself deeming it a place not to be trifled with. Knowing it would be an extremely long time before a previously mentioned match to The First Curse's power would save Sabre from this fate, Origin made sure Sabre would not suffer while lying in wait for the moment this person finds him, as Sabre was still conscious inside the stone seal. Origin used his own power to make sure Sabre would not be awake during the centuries he waits, knowing there's side effects to this being in use for so long.

As the years passed, Sabre slowly started losing memories of who he once was while trapped inside the stone. By the time two people enter the temple for the first time since Origin put Sabre inside, all Sabre remembers about himself is his name, title, the fact he's supposed to have powers, and the fight between him and The First Curse.

Those two people, of course, are Red and Orange Steve. Curious after seeing the temple's entrance hidden in a mountainside, they entered wondering what they would find. They didn't expect something that looked like a statue, but were still intrigued by its presence. Orange steps closer to the stone figure, and notices an inscription on the wall, reading:

"Only one who matches the power of the first enemy can free the soul set in stone."

Neither of the Steves really know what this means, and Orange being a little clueless, decides to strike the stone figure with lightning. Immediately after, Red starts to scold Orange for doing such a thing, when they both hear a cracking sound from the statue.

Turning to look, they see some of the stone starting to break apart... revealing the form of a person underneath. Before they can react to this revelation, the rest of the stone falls apart, the person inside almost collapsing on the floor. Red quickly rushes over and catches this mysterious person before he hits the ground, Orange not knowing what to do. Seconds later, the one that was trapped inside the stone wakes up, as Red is trying to keep him upright.

Unable to remember anything other than a few things about himself and a fight being held between him and someone else before being hit by something, Sabre introduces himself to his new friends after they get him up on his feet and say they'll take him somewhere safer than there.

Little does Sabre know the experience waiting for him as he leaves the confines of the old temple...
