She lives with her step-brother because, her mom died in an accident and after a few years, her dad fell in love with a new women. She doesn't want to interfere and stop them from loving each other but, she feels as if her new step-mom hates her. She shook off the thought until one day she heard weird noises from her step-brother's room and when she went in, he was crying. Apparently his mom actually hates kids and that's probably why she hated Foyer and her own son. Foyer decided that she couldn't take the cold glares and her step-brother crying, that's why she ran away with her brother and pays rent by working at a local maid cafe.
