Everybody is born with a soulmate mark. It's in the form of the last words their soulmate will ever say to them and the soul mates mark is the last words you would say to them.

The soulmate mark appears on the person's wrist on their 16th birthday and thats when they feel the first pull towards their soulmate and the urge to find them. Most people are successful in finding their soulmates but some aren't so lucky. However if your mark doesn't appear, a black stripe appears instead which means you dont have a soulmate, however this is rare and almost never happens.. Or so you thought..

It was your 16th birthday and you were excited. You were going to get your soulmate mark. You waited for the sensation of the mark appearing. At first nothing was happening until you felt the sensation but to your dismay, there was a black stripe on your wrist instead of the words of your soulmate. You were saddened by this.

Years passed and you watched other people including your friends find their soulmates, you saw how happy everyone was, except for you. You longed for that happiness of finding your soulmate and being with them but at the moment, it was like a void in your heart, an empty space that nothing could fill.

You were currently walking down the street deep in thought and of course you weren't watching where you were going. You ended up bumping into something.. Or someone..
"oh Im so sorry" the person said taking your hand and helping you up and now you were face to face with the most handsome man you've ever seen.

The man smiled at you rubbing the back of his neck nervously, and your eyes landed on his wrist.. There was a black stripe on his wrist.. Just like yours.. He didn't have a soulmate either.. "it's alright. I should watch where I'm going" you say with a nervous chuckle.

The man chuckled "we all have random gravity checks" he said with a smile causing you to giggle abit. "yeah I suppose so" you said. The two of you spent time together. He told you his name was Avery and you told him your name..and you both talked about the mark and various other things.
By the time it was time to leave, neither of you wanted to say goodbye.

You said goodbye to Avery and he kissed your cheek saying "I'll miss you" before he walked away.Right after he left, you felt a sharp pain in your wrist. Your wrist was itchy as well. You started scratching until you saw how red your wrist and mark was and that's when something shocking happened.

The black stripe on your wrist faded away and in its place was the words :
"I'll miss you".

Those were the words Avery said to you before he left. Avery was your soulmate! You had finally found your soulmate! You felt the one thing you've always wanted to feel, a pull.. Towards Avery.. And the urge to find him.. Do you find him? What will happen when you do?
