Person A has had a crush on person B for a long time. Person B is madly in love with person C but C treats person B like trash. Person C is kinda just a jerk and can't find anyone that they genuinely like. Person D is just the funny, optional, random friend cos I needed to balance out 2 characters for each person but you can do whatever.
   The title is Endings Aren't Always Happy because the story isn't meant to have a nice, satisfying ending.
   It'd be better if one person had A and C and the other person had B and D because having a character crushing on another character in the same text box can get annoying but you do you. If you wanna do a gc with 3 people, D is optional lmao.
