Tyler is a lonely guy who is trapped in dema, and like everyone else there he has given up on hope for help or escape and dema keeps getting better and better with servalince technology as more people try to escape the cold grey walls of dema and one day the bishops with help of their smartest followers invented a new form of servalince to keep people in check, bots and it had worked for awhile but eventually the bishops learned they have created the bots too human like so they started to move them and make them work in exclusive areas to have little to no human interaction but the bishops then definitely have more influence over them.

Tyler knew about these bots but never met one, he was curious about how human they acted like and such but he had no time to think about it much because Tyler had a role to play in dema, he had a job there that he despised and hated but at least it was better then sitting in a cold empty room all day.

Tyler's job was keeping an eye on and repairing neon sculptures that the bishops had for ceremonies and gatherings and Tyler also had to make more sculptures. He hated that job more then anything because the neon would get to his head too quickly and where he had to work it was a suffocating feeling that he could never get used to.

But that day on the job a bishop follower had informed Tyler that someone new would be helping Tyler out with his job, it was someone named Josh. Tyler understood and went to the basement since that his where he worked only to see who assumed was Josh.

Josh was nothing like anyone in dema...

He was kind, sweet, extremely shy, innocent and he seemed to look on the bright side of things, he was just so lovely and his energy was brighter then any type of neon work they would do together.

The thing that bothered Tyler though was that Josh was extremely obedient to the bishops so to slowly snap Josh out of it everyday would Tyler tell Josh stories about the outside, people that live in the trenches, about snow and rain instead of the disgusting ash that rains down over dema occasionally.

He tells Josh about nature, the warm sun that exist outside of the cold walls of dema, and the banditos who fight against dema and sure enough Josh was eventually hooked and wanted to leave the place and much as Tyler did and Josh wanted to be a bandito because of Tyler's stories.

Josh adored the idea of being free, especially with his new found best friend and Tyler wanted to espace with Josh too.

But one day Tyler was running late for his work and wanted to tell Josh more stories but as he went down to the basement he saw a bishop follower speaking to Josh and that's when Tyler found out Josh was a robot because the follower was trying to erase Josh's memory and rewire him to a dull life form but Tyler refused go allow it, he refused to loose and friend and he refused to not let Josh see the outside world so he stepped in so he could stop that person from trying to erase his best friend.
