Catherine POV

I was dancing with Naomi until some random person went on stage and started calling people up to sing. At first I was like hell yeah then I realized what if the recognized me.

"Give it up for Aihisa now who's next...let's see....how about....you right there" he said pointing at a girl with pink hair. That was close.

The girl he picked ran on stage very eagerly. What's up with her.

"Um..hi I'm Candice a witch...I'm going to sing...The night is young" she said holding the mic close to her chest.

"Catherine maybe you should go since your a mermaid I'm sure you sound amazing maybe even better than Cj" Naomi urged me. If only she knew.

But to think of it how come even before I knew I was a mermaid I could sing well was it just natural talent or was it just in my genes. Kaden said that the genes kicked in on my birthday but I could always sing the perfect note ever since I was two so how am I only knowing this now. I don't know I feel like I've been lying to everyone by singing when it was only in my genes not like a natural talent.

Once Candice finished singing I couldn't help but smile, she was a witch yet still she could sing...like I could. I feel sooo...empty now knowing all my fame was a lie I bet any of there mermaid could sing like me...I'm just another outcast.

I walked out of the room not in a party mood anymore..for some reason I felt like there's something inside of me stronger than me and it's just dying to come out but I have a feeling it's not a good thing.

I walked over to the end of the near by cliff just sitting there thinking about me life before all this.....werid stuff started happening I was normal with a career..I bet the press is wondering where I am right now.

Sighing I sat down rethinking all the decisions I've made...going out behind my father's back to a karaoke club

Flashback

"Are you sure Jason?" I asked my best friend as he dragged me towards my window.

"I'm sure...uh come on...live a little, sing a few songs I've never heard a voice like yours and trust me I've heard some good singing" he encouraged me. I sighed knowing there was no escpae.

"Fine but on one condition if I get in trouble I'm blaming you" I told him jumping out the now open window. I laughed as he fist bumped into the air.

"Okay so....where are we going?" I asked as we were a few feet away from my old house.

"Where going to a karaoke club but don't worry no drugs" he said dragging me to his motorcycle.

"Wait karaoke I can't sing Jason and you know that" I argued not wanting to go. I glared at him he knew I hated sing since it made me feel  uncomfortably since it felt like there was something trying to get out.

"Oh relax..now come on its ladies free before ten" he said placing my hands on his torso I could feel how relaxed his muscles where and for some reason it made me relaxed.

"Hold on tight" was all he said before speeding of to who knows where. Soon we arrived at the club the music was blaring causing adrenaline to rush through me veins.

"Let's go Cj" Jason dragged me through the crowd and eventually we got in.

"Two shots please" Jason ordered. I looked at him with wide eyes we're sixteen how on earth are you drinking.

"Relax....it's not alcohol" he assured me handing me the drink that was placed on the conter.

I took a sip...the definitely was not alcohol it was sweet yet sour at the same time and very addictive. What is this stuff?

"Tastes good dosen't it." Jason asked seeing my reaction I nodded asking the bartender for another round.

"What is it?" I asked him intrigued by he combination of flavors.

"Moonburst " was all he said before dragging me to a two person booth.

"Go sing" he slured...well someone's had way too much 'Moonbust'.

"No..we need to go home it's already..midnight" I told him wanting to leave before I got in trouble.

"I'll go when you sing" he complained still slurring on his words.

"Are you drunk?" I asked him shocked..the Jason Todler was drunk...hilarious.

"No..I don't thi..think...think..so" he continued slurping. What is up with him I thought he said he couldn't get drunk.

"Just go and then we'll leave" he said using me to stand. I sighed wondering what I've gotten my self into this time.

"Okay it seems we have a volunteer...Cj" the Dj announced the name I gave them.

Taking a deep breath inhaling all the air is could take in this is it me embarrassing my self in front of everyone.

I went on the platform and spotted a smirking Jason. That little liar he wasn't drunk only pretending. As I was about to go down there the music stated.

A solider I will be ' I finished the song and was met with a shocked audience. Was I bad or that good. Suddenly they all started clapping me some where cheering like crazy. They really put a new meaning to the phase the crowd went wild.

"Give it up for Cj" the Dj said and the crowd screamed causing the building to shake. Wow I was that good.

"Come to this address tomorrow and we'll discuss the record deal" he whispered in my ear handing me a card. I was shocked a record deal. Me?

"Told you....this was going to be just fine" Jason teased me I laughed at him but nodded. This was going fine.

End of Flashback

"Catherine there you are" Naomi's voice brought me back to the real world. 

"The party's over they said they found mermaid blood in the punch bowl so they sent us home...are you okay?" she asked realizing my mood.

"Yeah I'm fine..let's go" I said taking one last glance at the lake then walking to catch her up.

"So how's Supernatural Academy so far?" she asked. I looked around then smiled. "Not so bad" I replied as we neared the cabin.

She laughed at me "Well classes are tomorrow we'll see if you change your mind" she joked.

I looked at her the laughed "I hope so".

"Let's get to bed" I suggested since we had classes tomorrow. She nodded and we went into the cabin after sliding of our dresses we fell into darkness.  Well I hope I enjoy me time here.

Hi guys it's your girl Angel although that's not me real name just call me Danie but whatever I hope you enjoyed this chapter it's like 1 am and I'm just writing this maybe I'll publish it tomorrow but that's for later.

Okay so I've been writing other books and I need your support for all of them although there for fun I would really like your guys to check out me book Rejected Assassin well its kind of inappropriate but it's not that bad I'm working on it.
