Catherine POV

My kidnapper was not kidding around I was forcefully dragged towards the window. Was he going to kill me. I tried kick and tossing but they came with no avail. I don't want to die.

As I was about to be thrown out I managed to kick my kidnapper where the sun doesn't shine. He let go immediately so I took this opportunity to run to the door I tried opening it but it was locked. Crap.

Suddenly a I was grabbed by my feet and thrown towards the bathroom breaking the door in the process. I feel like I broke something very important.

I tired standing up put my kidnapper gripped my hair throwing me face first I'm the bathroom sink breaking the pipe. I was relived as water burst through the opening. Just what I need.

As I was being soaked in felt my legs give out as pain consumed me. Focusing on the water trying to ignore the pain I slowly formed a what looked like spikes.

Concentrating on it I manged to freeze them over creating a weapon. As he charge I sent the frozen liquid flying in his direction. It sent him flying backwards eventually hitting the wall.

My legs started burning more I couldn't help but scream in pain. I looked down to see them joined together as my toes elongated. What the hell is happening to me.

"Catherine? Can you here me honey? Don't worry we'll get you out of there" I heard my father's voice from the other side of the room. A loud bang was heard then a large brown wolf ran into my room.

I screamed fearing for my life. It tackled my kidnapper while jumping through my window. Wait how is there a wolf?

I let out another scream as my feet where now turning gold in colour soon it glistened like diamonds as my toes became an elastic like material. I looked at my hands which now had a light drizzle of the same shimmering substance as my legs.

My finger where now a joined by web like material. What is going on. My legs stretched further as my torso now sparkled. I kept screaming for the pain to stop this went on for about four hours until the pain stopped completely.

I thought it was over until the water from the pipe started swirling around me as my clothes dissolved it reformed into beautiful jewels which adorned my naked body, with only my hair covering my breasts.

"Wow!" my father exclaimed looking at me shocked well I was shocked.

"How did I grow a tail" I asked freaking out is this a prank.

"I knew this would happen it was only a matter of time before the genes kicked in" my father said pulling out three large suitcases where are we going?

"Take these and follow me I'll bring you to an old friend he'll help from there" my dad said opening the door to the attic once there he pushed aside and worn out chair to reveal a beautifully wrapped box. I gasped as he placed it gently in my hand.

"There take this it will lead you to where you need to be it's not safe here any more" he warned then suddenly we were being sucked into a large hole. I closed my eyes waiting for it to stop.

"You can open your eyes now" my dad chuckled. I felt my cheeks grow warm.

"Garland my old friend I wish we could meet on better terms but duty calls" Uncle Nelson said hugging my father I always wondered why he live with so many different people.

"I'm sorry we meet this way but it's happening she's not safe here" my father told him. Him nodded taking my hand. " I'll take care of her" was all uncle Nelson said before everything went black.

I jolted out of bed confused. Everything was all fuzzy. Where am I? I know from a fact I'm not at home. I studied my surroundings, it appeared to look like a hospital room but instead of medical equipment there where all kinds of weird looking bottles and powders.

"Ah! Your awake" Jason said relieved. I started to panic did he try to kidnap me? Maybe.

"Where am I?" I asked confused even more. He only smirked while an unfamiliar voice replied "Supernatural Academy".

"Supernatural-what?" I asked the figure which was standing in the shadows.

"Don't worry Catherine it's safe here" the same voice said. I turned to Jason to ask for help but he only smiled.

Soon the shadow moved towards. Due to the panic I magically formed a spear out of water then aimed it at the shadow.

"Self defense impressive. Follow me" the voice repeated stepping out of here shadows to reveal a guy dressed in a suit he looked around twenty three or so.

I followed him not knowing what to do. Once he opened the door I was greeted by a beautiful garden with creatures of all kind roaming freely. He walked along a path that magically appeared.

"At this school we learn about all the different supernatural beings, Elves, vampires and etc" he said pointing towards a large shield with two swords through it. It had a motto beneath it : Through the trouble we rise.

"Supernatural Academy is for all creatures a place of refuge hidden from human eyes" he continued now leading me to a building that looked a lot like a castle.

As soon as he walked in the whole place became quite. Who is he? "This is the main hall where the lockers are located" he told me pointing to the beautifully designed lockers the whole place was bursting with colours.

"This is the cafeteria where the menu suits all the students, varying from blood, to seaweed and the normal burgers and pizzas the werewolves requested them be added" he continued now walking towards what looked like a training area.

"What out!" someone's voice rang through my ears. I looked to see a fire ball heading straight for my face I quickly reacted taking the water from the near by pond using at a shield I blocked the attack.

"Wow!" the same voice said shocked. I dropped the shield when I was sure I was out of danger.

"You acted quickly Catherine, I'm impressed but let's move on with the tour" was all he said before leaving the training area. He continued showing me around until we reached his office.

"Well..Catherine Johnson it seems you have been enrolled. Classes start tomorrow eight thirty...oh and don't be late" I learned his name was Mr Wilder.

As I was about to walk out with my file and schedule neatly tucked in my folded arms the principal said something that made me smile "Oh..and welcome to Supernatural Academy, good luck".

I smirked then replied "Thanks but I won't need it" I said to him as I used my wind powers to throw away the yo-yo he was playing with. He only shook his head then smiled at me.

I headed straight for my dorm knowing all my stuff would be there, hopefully. 

I followed the directions which lead me to a cabin a little farther off from the school about twenty two yards. As I opened the door I saw a most terrible scene.

Jason tackling a guy who had claw marks all over his face, there where two girls trying to break up the fight while another guy floating above them amused.

What can I do? Of course since I'm well a mermaid maybe I have siren song. Clearing my throat is began to sing. Soon they all where looking at me blankly.

"Uh...hi..I'm..uh..Catherine your dorm mate" I said nervously they snapped out of there trance then smiled at me.

"I'm so sorry about that little..uh..twitch, my name is Naomi I'm a elemental earth to be exact" a girl with black hair and green eyes said she had a flower marked on her right cheek.

"Sup I'm Kaden I'm a ghost" the guy that was floating said, he had white hair and red  bottom less eyes with a hoodie covering most of his face. I smiled at him.

"I'm  Andrew Everest an angel" the guy that was fighting Jason introduced he had long brown hair with sky blue eyes. He was hot damn.

"I'm Aihisa I'm a fairy and an elf" a girl with bubblegum pink hair and bright violet eyes introduced herself. She was so happy for some reason I don't know.

"Uh..hey..Catherine" Jason said nervously. I laughed at him he should learn to losen up a little.

"You two know each other?" Aihisa asked.

"Yeah I'm her manger-" I cut him off before he could say anything else "He's my man in charge..yeah..man in charge..my..best friend who always knows how to keep his mouth shut" I said through gritted teeth glaring at him.

"Uh this is akward" Aihisa said brushing a stray hair strand behind her ear reveling her long pointed ears which where adorned with jewelry, the turned a light pink colour at the tip.

"So what are you?" Naomi asked curiously.

"Well I think I'm a mermaid not sure yet but that's all I know for now" I told them still confused as how I'm here.

"What do you mean you don't know?" she asked. "I mean it all happened all of a sudden. Me getting weird powers now I'm turning into a god damn fish" I told them dumping myself on the closest bed.

"Don't worry you'll get through it but for now we need to get ready for the party" Aihisa said beaming.

"What party?" I asked them really confused.

"They throw on every year to welcome everyone to the new school year" Naomi said going over to what I think is her bed.

"But I have nothing to wear" I told them refusing to go.

"Relax I'm a fairy I'll just work magic and bam you have yourself a dress now let's go" Aihisa said pushing the boys over to there side. This is not going to end well.
