Catherine POV

"Be careful. As much as I hate doing this is have to" I smiled as my mother kissed my temple.

"Hurry queen Maria. She's must leave as soon as possible" Azaria interrupted. I sighed turning to the portal behind me. Brooke stood right beside me with two knapsacks filled with the necessary item. I had on but mine had mostly things given to me by my mother and Azaria. A few of my own personal things.

"Bye Catherine. Make us proud" I nodded waving. Brooke did the same then we swam through the portal which lead to the Olympic sized pool at the Academy.

I gasped looking around. It was the pool. I hate this place! Looking up I saw what looked like the head master with a few others. Brooke was already swimming to the surface. I followed close behind.

As soon are our head reached the surface when we were helped out of the pool by two students who I assume are now helping for the war. I recognized them as Felix and Devon. Who would have thought.

They gave us towels to dry ourselves of and some clothes. I took it gracefully as what I was in before I change was my torn training clothes. Brooke didn't mind and she wore her pjs.

"Princess Catherine, Brooke. I was informed of your arrival and made a few modifications. You'll be staying in Firefox. Seeing as the war has begun you will be guarded 24/7" I nodded. I've grown accustom to this now.

Once I finished changing we were lead to tour cabins not like we couldn't walk there ourselves.

"So who are the people chosen for this quest?" I don't feel comfortable telling him this. I ignored the feeling and told him anyway.

"Everyone in Firefox actually. With a few others some girl named Alice. I've never seen her before though" he nodded his eyes had a weird glint to them.

"That's wonderful. Well have a goodnight" I nodded walking into the cabin. I didn't even reply I just went straight to my bed throwing down my back in the process.

"So who's first on our little journey" I shrugged looking at the blank peice of paper. Brooke just continued eating her piece of toast.

I saw the name Naomi flash across the paper. I guess that where were supposed to start. I handed it to Brooke and she nodded finishing her toast.

"Let's go then. We need to move quickly" I nodded taking up a peice of toast and going to side of the dorm. I picked out a leather jacket with combat boots. Seeing I already had on an undershirt with black skinny jeans.

I finished my toast and got dressed putting my hair in a ponytail afterwards. Grabbing my backpack I rushed out but not before grabbing the paper that Brookes mom gave us.

"Wait we don't know where she is?" Brooke only rolled her eyes taking the paper away form me. I looked at it and mumbled something under my breath. It obviously knows where to find her.

"Ranger Grove" Where is that.

"I should of known. She's and Elemental. I hope you like hiking Cat" I suddenly don't like this idea.

"Where is it?" I asked fixing my bag. I folded the paper and put it in my bag.

"It's surrounded by mountains. No tech works there. It's like a haven for earth elemental a place where they could escape for there troubles" I internally groaned.

"How much further?" I asked sweating. Brooke glanced at the map and smiled.

"There's a secret entrance somewhere over....here" she tugged on a rock and a large opening formed. I gasped as it was covered with exotic flowers. She helped my up while dusting her self off.

"Let's go. We need to leave first thing in the morning and I'm sure it's not going to be easy to find Naomi" I followed her through the cave like structure. Once we reached the other side we were greeted with a forest area.

"Welcome to Ranger Grove" I looked around breathlessly. There were tall trees surrounding the area with stone like structures I assume houses. Flowers danced around the area like rain drops against a widow ceil.

"It's so nice" I said in admiration.

"I know. Let's hurry being away form the ocean for this long feels weird" she said making her way to the village.

I followed trying to avoid the bushy areas. I thought I had made it until I realized we were cornered by spear holding warriors. I quickly put my hands up in surrender Brooke followed soon after.

"All I wanted was to see my friend. Is that so much to ask"

"Why are you here? Are you a spy working with the traitors" I quickly shook my head.

"Of course not. I'm Catherine a hybrid. This is Brooke my friends she's an oracle. We were sent by her mother to retrieve Naomi my dorm mate we need her on our quest" he didn't seem to believe me.

"Your a hybrid, if your telling the truth. Tell me what two species and prove it" it was then I had to face palm my self. I had wings and I climbed over the mountains. I'm so stupid.

"I'm an angel and mermaid" I said praying he believed me.

"Grow your wings" I glanced at my restraints hoping he got the picture.

"All you need to do is grow your wings. I am not setting you free" I groaned then tried to stand up. After a few tries I was on my feet.

"Could you step back. These things are ten times bigger then me" the guards took a step back allowing me to grow my wings. Once the were out if fell backwards out of balance. Darn you large wings.

"I believe you. But I still don't trust you. If you were sent by the oracle show me proof" Tough crowd I thought.

"Um....Brooke a little help" she nodded then searched through her bag. I sighed in relief as she pulled out the map thing her mom gave us.

"Here there's her sign right at the bottom left corner" he studied it and came to the conclusion that we were legit. Finally! I thought as the untied me. I then stood up retracting my wings. That feels better.

"Who was it your wanted" before we could answer that feeling washed over me again like someone taking over my body.

"Naomi your daughter has been chosen to embark on the quest. She and nine others will journey to save the fallen king, be warned one may fall on this journey" I blinked a few times once I regained control.

"Your daughter?" Brooke asked breaking the silence.

"I knew this would happen. The earth dragon came to me in a dream and he told me that my daughter will be chosen but not by who"

"Where is she. It's important we hurry before the war gets worst" he nodded then lead up to a large 'stone house'. This one had vines as curtain it represented a door.

"Father you are back early. What did you do to the- Catherine?"

"Surprise" I said smiling. Suddenly I was pushed to the ground by Naomi.

"Your alive. I mean your okay. I heard they took Kyle from you and you can't live without your mate. I was worried sick about you. What brings you here" she gushed helping me up.

"The Oracle. You need to trust me I told your father and he said your free to come with us. We're on a quest to save Cameron and-" she didn't even wait until I finished she just shouted.

"I'm in!"

"Well next is Supernatural Academy. Tomorrow we find out whose next" I nodded then turned to her father.

"Is it okay if she comes back to the Academy?" He nodded smiling.

"It's fine just bring her back in one piece" I nodded then threw a moonstone at the wall. It shattered in contact. The shattered pieces started spinning until it formed a portal. I frowned.

"I wanted to walk through not jump through" Brooke rolled her eyes then jumped in. Naomi followed while I groaned. I hate this. I jumped through too praying I didn't get hurt.
