Catherine POV

It's been a week, the worse week of my life. Now and then I could feel Kyle's pain and he could feel mine. It's been really rough lastly having being away for so long the mate bond is acting up.

I was in the infirmary for three days. I was out cold for two days. And now I'm here. I've been crying myself to sleep this whole time. Matthew visits sometimes but know he stopped seeing he's needed for the war.

Life has been hell. My mother is still trying to get in touch with my father but nothing. I sighed as the moon shone through the small window. Every time I saw it in felt safe. I could hear Kyle's howl each time.

I finally sat up not wanting to sleep anymore. I went over to the guitar and started playing a note. I continued seeing as I had nothing better to do.

I heard another voice but I wasn't mine. It's sounded so familiar. Kyle?

I looked up at the moon and smiled. It's was Kyle.

We ended the song there. I don't know why but that felt so good. Hearing his voice again. I felt alive!

"Cat?" Kyle's voice echoed through the room. I looked around and saw no one. Great now I'm going mad.

"Catherine! It's me" Who is saying that.

"I can't believe I'm seeing you again?" Who is saying that.

"Cat! Can't you see me?" No I can't.

"I'm right behind you" I kept looking around but there was no one there.

"How was your night?" Azaria asked as we swam to the garden.

"It was intesting" I said trying to keep it a vague as possible.

"I see. Well expect a visitor, Matthew I think his name is" she teased.

"He's a friend, you know I have a mate" I told her leaning on a railing.

"Oh I see" a young man about my age rushed into the room. He gave a quick introduction then turned to Azaria. The engaged in a brief conversation then he left.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's seems, the Oracle has summoned you. Please come with me" I nodded and we rushed to the throne room. Where we met my worried mother.

"Catherine, seems that you'll be seeing you mate after all" I smiled.

"Although it isn't for a joyous occasion" I frowned hearing this.

"What happened?" I asked confused.

"The Oracle, a prophecy has been told, and you are in that prophecy" I'm so confused.

"What do you mean. This is too much to take in. I'm in a prophecy, I only recently found out this whole world existed. I'm still not used to the fact of me having an friggin tail!"

"Calm down Catherine, sweetie. It's okay. I know you've been through a lot but you need to listen. You are the princess, you must do something for your kingdom in this case you have to see the oracle" I sighed knowing she's right.

"Good, I presume you've already, met Brooke"

"Why didn't you tell me your mom was the oracle" I whispered to her as we swam to the cave thing where her mother lived.

"I forgot" she whispered back. This place was huge. With crystal like structures scattered around the room. In the center was a clam shell. It glistened under the moonlight.

"Wow" I breathed taking it all in.

"Come on Cat, we need to get to my mother quickly" I swam behind her taking everything in.

"Where is your mom?" I asked looking around.

"She's right infront of you silly" Brooke laughed pointing to the shell in the center of the room.

"She's inside?" She nodded.

"How?"

"And oracle has to give up there body when they give brith" she said sadly.

"Where's your dad?"

"She was forced to do it. My dad is a pirate. I've never met him though" I feel bad for asking.

"Mom where here" as the words left her lips he shell opened up reveling a beautiful girl. She had long red hair and blue eyes. She looked just like Brooke except that she had blue eyes and Brooke had brown.

"Princess, it's a pleasure to meet you" I nodded smiling.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too" I replied trying to act mature.

"Oh you don't have to act all sophisticated. I know the real you the childish you" I smiled even more.

"We know mom. There's a war out there and you called Catherine to stop it" her mother laughed but nodded.

"Oh yes" suddenly her face went blank while her eyes glowed blue "One born of air and sea. Shall embark on a journey to test the strength of thee. Ten friends shall save the fallen king. They may fail or succeed. But one shall pay the ultimate price out of there own personal quest" her eyes returned to normal while that strange feeling came over me again.

"Raven, Andrew, Kaden, Naomi, Aihisa, Brooke, Kyle, Krystal, Catherine and Alice those are the chosen. These ten will go and journey to the forbidden be warned one shall fall on your quest out of personal desires" I felt my self regain control and I fell to my......scales?

"Cat! Are you okay. Oh my goodness I was worried when you started saying things weird" I nodded pulling myself back up.

"When you said embark on a journey. When do we leave?"

"You leave as soon as possible. Tonight if possible you have to gather all those who have been chosen. Here use this it will guide you" she created a blank peice of paper form bubbles.

"It's blank" I said staring at it. She smirked then disappered in the shadows.

"Your mother is weird. Anyway how does this work?" Brooke shrugged.

"Well find out eventually my mother never revels these things" I nodded folding the paper. I wondered how it wasn't wet? Weird.
