"Magic logics" I read from the note attached to my locker. Why did they add this class. The teacher hates me.

"No! Well I don't have her until Wednesday so I'm good" I now admire Aihisa.

"Hey my favorite fairy. How are you. It's been a while right"

"What do you want?"

"Please cast a spell to switch us for one day" I begged.

"Are you crazy?! I can't do that what if I mess up you could die" Maybe I didn't think this through.

"I really don't want to do her class" Aihisa gave me a look.

"Just wait until I tell Cameron your skipping classes"

"You wouldn't"

"Oh there he is now. Cameron, come here please" I turned around to see ,you brother walking over to us.

"Hey Aihisa, Catherine what's up?"

"Well I just heard that Cat here wants to skip classes" I glared at Aihisa who had a smug look on her face.

"Oh really now. Thank you for telling me. We have training now so I will personally walk you to class" I mumbled something under my breath walking to the training field.

"Is it true?" Cameron asked breaking the silence we were fairly close to the training area.

"What true?"

"About you being the princess and all" Oh that.

"Yeah, it is" I whispered.

"So we're not related"

"No not by blood by adoption" he then smirked.

"Then I'm still your big brother" Now I smirked.

"Giddy up wolfie" I yelled jumping on his back.

"Onward princess Cat" I giggled at my childhood nickname.

"You all know the procedure. The only thing different is two cabin on one team meaning four teams" I groaned. I hate the Dragon Claw. They're the worst.

"Firefox and Dragon Claw" Yes! We're not together. Our cabin is....I really don't know.

"Whats our cabin called?" I asked Aihisa who looked pissed.

"Firefox" she hissed her eyes set on some guy in front of us.

"She's hates Ryland her ex. He's the captain of Dragon claw" Oh I see. I turned towards this Ryland guy and gasped. It's him! He's the spirt I saw at swimming.

"This is Firefox. Pathetic. I can't believe they paired us with you losers" I'm beginning to not like this guy. His eyes scanned the area until they landed on me. A smirk planted it's self on his lips as he stared at me.

"A mermaid who used a potion to make her tail golden. Really? You just wanted the attention" he teased. We both knew that's not true. He wanted me to say something do something I knew I would regret.

"Yeah. I just wanted the attention" I said calmly not breaking eye contact.

"You two stop. We know the drill. Introduce the captain and the cabin. Both cabins once that's done we move out. Kaden is dealing with what were supposed to do" Jason said.

"Dragon Claw you first" Ryland stepped up proudly.

"Ryland D'Angelo. Daphne, Kyle, Matthew and Alice" Kyle? It was my mate.

"Kyle?"

"Cat?"

"Cameron Wilder rank alpha king. Andrew, Jason, Catherine, Naomi, Kaden and Aihisa" Dragon Claw gasped.

"That's not fair. Your royalty" I tried not to laugh. Keyword tried.

"Doesn't matter. If we're going to do this call a truce?" Cameron extened his hand. I don't trust that Ryland guy.

"Truce" Oh no its happening again.

Flashback

"Have you found her?" A deep voice asked. Ryland answered.

"Yes master"

"Good. Everything is working out fine. When will we be ready?" The voice asked.

"It will be hard. She has many people protecting her. At least one strong hold on each species. Two Kings, one oracle and two celestial beings let's not forget her own powers" the voice roared.

"Get rid of them we need her"

"Yes master. I will not disappoint you"

Once I returned to the real world I saw that Ryland had a smirk on his face while Cameron looked weak. I didn't hesitate to rush to his side. I was just in time to catch him before he fell to the ground.

"Cameron!" Luna's voice rang through my ears. Soon the celestial being was right infront of me. The whole class was looking in our direction. I turned to look for Ryland but he was gone.

"Cat get away form him" Kyle growled. I let go immediately. Cameron's body began to vanish. It turned into smoke and drifted away. What?

"Whats going on?" I asked scared.

"Ryland. He took his soul. Unless we get it back he's gone" tears clouded my vision.

"How do we get it back?" Kyle shrugged.

"We can't without Ryland and he's gone"

"Class is over. Go to your cabins all of you" Luna and I didn't move. He's gone.

"Come on Cat we need to go" I still didn't move.

"Catherine, Luna we need to leave" I refused to move.

"Where is he?" I heard Luna ask.

"Where is who?" Skylar asked.

"Ryland" she hissed her voice dripping of venom.

"He's not here" my father's vice said. I turned around to see him and my adoptive father. I ran to him. My adoptive father.

"He's gone" I cried into his shirt. I don't think my real father minded since he did nothing.

"I know Kitty. It's okay were going to get him back. Okay" I nodded still crying.

"Classes have ended. All those who were chosen for a specific class or classes you will continue those lesson it's sad to say but the war has already commenced"
