Catherine POV

"I'm telling you Cameron it's true I'm a mermaid and elemental and for some reason able to shadow travel they say it's maybe a mistake but I can feel it I was meant to do this" I told my big brother as we walked to normal 101.

"I believe you, it's just hard to believe my Lil Sis is now here surrounded by a bunch of people and she's not in panic" I rolled my eyes he was right though when did I become so bold.

I spotted Skylar and Luna about to have each others head I mean Luna's hands where glowing and Skylar had plants sprouting out her hands.

"Cameron we need to stop them" I motioned to the scene he immediately jumped into action but was shot back by a beam of light.

"Cameron are you okay" he only groaned moving his hand to reveal a burn mark that was bleeding.

"B- blo-blood....no snap out of it Catherine faint later" I told my self. I realized they where drawing attention to them selves I have class in a few minutes I don't have a lot of time.

What do I do? Sing? No....ah that's it earth and water combined with a little hail not bad.

Focus Cat. Soon the clouds came in and blocked the sun but is still peaks out shining on Luna. Earth is a no no since the roots are from her hands. But wait why are the fighting.

It don't know what happened but it was like I had a vision like a flashback but it was with them. Again why does this keep happening to me.

( Luna and Skylar were walking to class Normal 101 but then something happened. A shadow flashed pass them and sprinkled a mist on here heads then there eyes turned black and the started arguing until the shadow came again this time it whispered something to Luna and she started using her powers it repeated with Skylar and that's how it happened)

I blinked a few times looking around this is the second time his has happened to me I saw others past. Cool!

I felt something take over my body then everyone bowed while I spoke .

" My children there is something evil in the air it is manipulating your minds. Don't let it you are celestial beings not minions fight it! It tried to control you ruin your friendship ship out of greed but don't let it. Remember my children I am here with you all of you"  I spoke it sounded like two people talking at once.

I regained control then realized they where bowing again. Why are the bowing?

"Uh...why are you bowing?" I asked saying my thoughts aloud.

"I don't even know..god my head hurts" Luna said standing up Sky followed shortly.

"We need to get to-" I was cut off by the bell ringing crap I'm late. I dashed to Normal 101 it was in the Auditorium. When I got there is was lucky the teacher wasn't here. I took my seat in the front row soon the others came in and sat in the front row as well.

"Good Morning students I'm Mr Bender your teacher I'm a half elf half human" he greeted us walking into the class.

"In this class we learn about what humans do and me being half will help" we nodded understanding.

"All of you here know humans don't accept us in there world that's why we have our world. You see we are different from them and that scares them"

"There are rules we must follow to keep our selves hidden since they have made it there priority to find us" I was really confused.

"You are all teenagers but we act differently from them" duh if they do get into a fight they don't use powers they use hurtful words.

"Number 1: if your species if able to change the colour of any body part always keep that hidden example for let's say werewolves there eyes flash gold when angry, demons and sirens black, angels there eyes glow white etc" I listened intensely. But my eyes don't turn black they turn red and sometimes a hint of black but not much,

"Number 2: if you have powers keep them hidden do not use them in public unless completely necessary if caught retreat to the supernatural world. Example if a celestial being uses his/her powers in public and was caught the bast option is to teleport back to the supernatural world"

"Number 3: Don't shift this is very important if you shift in public or even show a sign like if your an elf and they see your ears your bound to be caught this is difficult for mermaids but it is for the best" I zoned out not wanting to hear this is so boring.

"I hate school I just wish I could skip" I groaned into my pillow after reaching the door the day was done and we had free time until curfew.

"Oh come on it wasn't that bad you know what we'll even go to that party being held in the human world " I groaned even more.

"Come one Catherine, Luna and Skylar told us we better come or they blast us into outerspace" I mumbled my reply then sat up on my bed.

"Great wear something light not too fancy and guess what we can wear our wings...even though it's not Halloween" I nodded walking over to my Closet.

I picked out a red long sleeved crop top with the back exposed and a pair of high waisted shorts and some ankle boots with red dangling earings. I got dressed then put on some blood red lipstick and straightened my hair then added my contacts.

"Ready?" Aihisa asked in dressed as well the only difference was her wings were out.

"Yeah let's go" I whispered back as we sneaked out of the cabin.

"There you guys are let's go" I was confused how are we going to leave the supernatural world.

"Don't worry we'll use shadow travel " but they can't shadow travel.

"Cat would you do the honour " Oh that's what the meant.

I and we held hands I thought about my room back home in the closet. The warm sensation came back then boom we were back.

"Oh my god this closet is huge" I nodded stepping out. I look around making sure the coast was clear.

"Let's move hide your wings no powers even if it's a costume party" the nodded and Aihisa put away her wings. We snuck out of the house and quietly soon we heard the music playing but it was near the beach on a penthouse near a cliff. What is with me and cliffs.

"Are you sure about this?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah we're not the only ones there some other students came even a teacher so where good" I nodded and we walked over to the door. I opened to revel a girl dressed in a fairy costume. A green dress that fit her perfectly with wooden shoes and fake wings.

"Hi there!" she greeted hold a cup of water in her hands.

"Uh hi were here for the part" Aihisa told her with her wings out. Don't they listen.

"Yeah come in. Oh my god your costume looks so real" the girl stated gawking over Aihisa's wings.

"Yeah...costume...of course there just a costume....not real at all" I elbowed her laughing nervously.

"Well nice to meet you I'm Karen by the way" we nodded going inside.

"Cosmos! This place is amazing just look at it" Luna said staring in awe.

"This is galactic!" I know there celestial beings but there language I diving me crazy.

I felt someone slap my butt causing me to jump and look at them furious.

"What in the name a Neptune is wrong with you?" the guy looked taken back but smirked.

"Nothing....wanna ditch this place and have some fun" I looked at him blankly hen rolled my eyes.

"No I'm don't Triton's beard" I mumbled walking back with the girls I didn't want to loose them. I'm starting to talk like a real sea dweller. Hmm must be normal.

"What wrong Catherine?" Sky asked me as we walked out to the balcony.

"It's just that son of a sea urchin" she looked taken back by my words the laughed.

"Relax enjoy yourself it's a party-" she was cut of by two boys holding a guy with glasses ulling him with them.

"Hey nerd can you swim?" They asked the boy he shook his head trying to break free.

"Well sorry" the held him right over the edge of the balcony which if you fell you would plummet right into the rocks below. There was no water.

"Leave him alone " Sky spoke up stepping out of the shadows.

"And why should we?" I growled accidentally casing there heads to snap in my direction.

"Oh look we have another doggie" I growled again but this time on purpose.

"Yeah can do what we want" the held the boy closer to the edge.

"What in the Cosmos is wrong with you?!" Sky screeched scared to move.

"Tone down" I told her feeling her voice being thrown at me.

"You two shout up and mention this to no one especially you girl who talks werid" he glanced at Sky.

"No I'm going to talk you can't hurt him and expect me to stay silent" he glared at me then started pulling my hair.

"Leave me alone you...you.....son of a sea urchin" he looked confused.

"Throw them" I felt my self being pulled to the end of the cliff.

"Sky!" was all I managed to say before being thrown of with the boy.
