I woke up early the next day. Lanie and Sharon are still asleep so I quickly move to fix myself.

I have a complete kit. Cristina gave it to me so that I can easily fix my wig by myself. Also, Cristina make sure that my wig will looked like a real hair and can be easily fixed.

I locked the connecting door and start fixing my hair. I also clean faced and make sure everything will look perfect.

After that I went back to my bedroom, I wear a jacket and decide to step out the room. It's still early. I think I can do something freely.

"Where are you going young lady."

I jumped, starled of the voice behind me.

I turned around. I frowned as a saw a palace guard standing behind me.

"Why are you here?" I asked while calming my heart. He almost give me a heart attack.

"Guarding your chamber." He answered. I look behind here and shocked to see 3 more palace guard at his back.

"I will just roam around." I answered. In my mind I cursed him 20 times. I hate him. I almost scream and make a scene because of him.

"It's too early, please go back to your room." The palace guard ordered me.

"Why should I? I mean, is roaming around prohibited?"

"No, but...."

"Let her do whatever she want Jim."

We all looked at the right.

"Mr. Shin." The palace guards greeted the man who seems like the right hand man of the king. He is the one who enter the cover yesterday.

"Good morning my lady." He greeted me.

I smile. I bend my knee and greet him. "Good morning Mr. Shin."

"You really woke up early just like the king predict last night." Mr. Shin said.

"Am I not allowed to woke up early?" I asked, half annoyed.

"No, it's not like that. His majesty said that you might wake up early today so he ordered me to wake up early too."

"Why is that?"

"So that I can also woke me up early and I can join you with what you want to do."

The king made an appearnce with his sleepwear on and robe.

"Your majesty." We all greeted him in unison.

"Keep your voice down. I don't want to disturb anyone." The king said.

I look at him then shook my head. Obviously, he is still sleepy and he just forced his self to crawl down the bed and step out his bedroom.

"You look sleepy." I said.

"Because I am." He walked towards me then put his head to my shoulder. Everyone turned around silently. I was also shocked that my hand automatically hold the kings arm.

"Then...then why not go back to sleep?" Damn it! I stuttered.

"Go back with me." The king said in husky voice.

"Huh?"

"Tsk. Let's go."

He grab my hand and dragged to towards his bedroom. I look back to ask for help, but everyone is looking somewhere and not following us.

"Max let go of me." I hissed at him. I tries to pull my from his grasp but he hold my hand tighter making me winced because of pain.

"Max." I called him again but he ignore me.

"Alistair Maxence."

He stop. He turned around and pulled me all of the sudden. His hand hold my waist.

"Why my name sound so sexy when you are saying it." He said. His eyes is roaming around my face.

"What do you need?" I asked him in a cold tone.

"What's with the cold voice? I thought we're friends?" He pouted hia lips and let me go.

I let out a deep sigh and look at him seriously. What's up with him? Why he is acting like a child early in the morning.

"I just want to have a breakfast with my friend." He said. He twist his  body left and right. His hand behind him and his feet is playing something on the ground.

I grimmaced. Never in my wildest imagination that I will see the king act like this. Like what the hell! He looked like a child who is acting cute to get what he want. He lost his composure and his king aura.

And why I found it cute? Why he look so cute and why I can't find myself to declined what he want?

"Fine. Let's eat breakfast." I said, surrendering on what he want.

He lifted his head and smile at me. I rolled my eyes as soon as I see his bright face. Really what's with him?

I was silent in my sit but I feel uncomfortable. The whole hall is in silence and everyone is looking at me.

The moment I step inside, everyone stop talking. They all looked at me as if another grew in me.

I know the reason why and I want to step out the room and barge in the meeting hall to confront the king. But  since I can't do it, I will just remain silent until the end of the day.

"So it's true." I raised my head and look at the girl who suddenly stand in front of me.

He is  not wearing a veil so I easily recognized her.

Roshiel Megan Barksville, the only daughter of prime minister Barksville. A woman with good reputation to everyone.

There are rumors that she will be the queen as she is also the king's childhood friend. His eldest brother was king study buddy when he was a crown prince.

Everyone admire Megan. Everyone is praising her. She is active in all charity event specially those event that the king organized. People says, she really suit to be the queen.

I want to laugh. I know Megan since we are fetus. My mother is one of their housemaid.

Tsk.. never mind. I don't want to talk of HOW GOOD SHE IS.

"What do you need?" I lazy asked her. I don't have time for her attitude. I know she is mad. She is expecting too much.

"I just want to know if the king really went to your room last night and if he fetch you this morning to eat breakfast with him."

I let out a deep sigh. As expected, the news spread like a plague.

"I think you are in no position to asked me that thing. Whether it true or not, you have no rights to asked me." I answered.

"Wow. Your acting almighty now? Let me see your look if it can par my beauty."

She immediately snatch my veil. I was shocked on what she did and so Sharon and Lanie. But their reflexes are fast. Lanie cover my face with the sleeve of his uniform and Sharon stand between me and Megan.

"Move." Megan shouted and push Sharon aside. I immediately stand up and went to Sharon to help her stand.

"What's your problem Megan?" I asked her. I face her and let her see my face.

I heard everyone gasp. I look at the entrance door and I saw the queen dowager and great queen dowager together with princess Jam and princess Bai standing there in silence.

I shook my head. I turned my back to Megan to stop everything but she grab my hand and forcely turned me around to face him.

"Don't you dare to turn your back at me, lowly bitch." She angrily said.

"Look Megan. If you want to complain of what happened or what the king did, go to him directly. Don't confront me because I can't do nothing." I calmly said.

"Are you ordering me? Who do you think you are?"

"What is going on here?" The queen dowager butt in, making Megan startled and shocked.

I mentally sigh. I thought they will just watched us.

"I was just asking her about the rumors. I'm worried that those rumors might affect her and her standing in the selection." Megan said in a very nice and timid voice.

I rolled my eyes and went back to where my sit is

Here comes the goody Megan. New show will begin and I think I'l be one of the cast.
