MAX POV

I carefully place the blanket on Reigh, then I turned to Anna to instruct her of a few things.

Reigh will sleep without Niel beside her tonight, so, I should make sure someone will keep a close eye to her.

Reigh always wake up in the middle of the night asking for milk or food. Sometimes she just gets up and moves on the floor and sleeps there. If I'm not mistaken, Archie was just like this when he was at this age. I often sleep in his room just to watched him abd make sure he doesn't come out of the room while sleeping. Luckily, Reigh don't sleep walk, so Anna will be enough to watch her.

When I made sure that Anna had gotten everything I instructed, I ĺeft the room and made my way to Niel's room.

I'm worried. Sharon says Niel hasn't eaten anything all day. He also doesn' talk to anyone, even my mother. He's just lying all day.

"Your Majesty." Sharon greets me. She bow her head. She was holding a tray with food on it.

"Has he eaten yet?" I asked while examining the foods. It' all his favorite, but it was untouched.

"Not yet. She didn't anything even if we beg for her to eat." Sharon replied worriedly.

"Take the food back to the kitchen. Cook some porridge for the queen."

I didn't wait for Sharon's answer. I went straight to Niel's room. I didn't even bother to knock anymore. I'm so worried of him.

"Niel." I gently called him.

He didn't move. His gaze remained outside the window as if he saw something very interesting in the dark.

I let out a deep sigh. I slowly approached him and say down in front of him. I hold his face with my two hands and carefully turned it to face me.

No make up, not even a powder and lipstick. His lips pale. His eyes are swollen and red. Blank stare, expressionless face. He is looking at me but doesn't seem to register with him that it is me he is looking at. No recognition visible in his eyes at all.

"Niel." I called him again.

His eyes move. Tears start to flow out from his eyes. I pull him and hug him tight. I kiss his exposed shoulder, wishing that it can bring his conciousness back.

His lost. It's frightening me. I'm scared of what will happen to him on the next days if he goes on like this.

"Baby, I'm here. Talk to me okay?" I told him tenderly.

He just sobbed in response to me. I close my eyes and continue holding him in my arms.

It's like my heart is being crushed. I hate him suffering like this. This is not what I promised to his father. I promised to him that I will make Niel happy. I promised that Niel will never cry. But, here he is now. Unable to talk and keep on crying. Sobbing is the only answer he can give to me

Is it wrong that I told him the truth?

I think it is.

But what exactly should I've done? With or without him knowing all those things, without those painful memories, he will still be in danger. Especially know that the fight between me and the Prime Minister had start.

We stayed in that position for I don't know how long. Niel just stopped crying.

I gently pushed him away and look straight to his eyes.

"You can talk to me baby. Share to me everything, okay?." I hold his hand and gently squeezed it.

"Ashira Gail, is that me." He asked in a lifeless tone.

I smile at him and slowly nod my head. "Yes, it's you. Ashira Gail Bermouth, the youngest of Bermouth family. Twin of Meisha Kristelle Bermouth."

He laugh, an empty one. He shook his head as he continue laughing.

"What kind of joke is that Max? That child in my dream, she is a girl. How come she is me? How come I am Gail? I'm a guy Max. You're not blind, so you can see that I am a man!"

"You're not a man, baby. You're a girl turned into a man." I tighly hold his hand. Little by little, fear crept over me.

"Are you kidding me Max?"

"No."

I stare straight and seriously in his eyes. He became speechless. Tears start to fall again in his eyes.

"How come? HOW DID IT HAPPEN THAT I WAS BORN A GIRL AND GREW UP BEING A BOY? HOW?!"

I cupped her face and wipe her tears. "I want to tell you the truth, but with your situation right now, I don't know if you can handle all the truth."

"Till me, i'll handle it. Just tell me the truth, Max."

"Are... knock...knock"

I was interrupted by the knock on the door.

"Your Majesty, the porridge is here." It was Sharon.

"Come in." I said, but may eyes still on Niel. She turned her face facing the window when the door open. I let out a deep breath. I watched Sharon arrange the food on the table. When she finished arranging everything, she bowede to us and quietly left the room.

"Eat first baby okay. You haven't eaten since before."

"I don' have appetite." Niel answered, still looking outside the window.

"Even a little please."

"HOW DO YOU THINK I CAN EAT IN MY SITUATION? I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM. WHAT AM I REALLY? DID MY  MOTHER GAVE BIRTH TO ME? OR MAYBE I WAS JUST FOUND SOMEWHERE?"

I grab her body and pull it towards me. I hugged her tight, trying to give her a secured feeling.

"Stop over thinking. I'll tell you everything okay. So stop over thinking. And no matter who you are, you will still my queen and my love."

"Max, I'm lost."

"I know. I'll tell you everything, but please, ear first okay?."

I smile. I let go of her. I wipe her tears. "As you wish my queen." I kissed her forehead and helped her stand up. I put my arm in her waist to support her body. I slowly put her sit on the chair, then, I sit in front of her. I grab the bowl of the porridge and I start mixing it while blowing. I scoop enough amount of porridge in the spoon, blow it to cool and then I sprinkle it on Niel.

"I asked them to cook porridge for you. Since you haven't eaten anything since before. Eat it now so that you won't be famish." I said then I scoop another spoonfull of porridge, blow to cool it down and feed it to Niel.

Niel did not respond to what I said. She just quietly accepts everything I give him.She finished her food. I called Sharon to help Niel take a bath. As I waited for him to finish I received a message from Caspein and Louis. The prime minister is planning something. He is trying to get the people sympathy and make them turn against the royal family. He start spreading letters in every house. Luckily, they caught his smen and confiscate all the letters.

I look at the bathroom door, thinking if my queen will finish soon. Then, I decide to make a call. I just didn't leave the room.I walk towards the window, while dialing the number of Louis. After two rings, Louis answered it.

"Your Majesty."

"How was it?"

"We've got it all. The letter has the prime minister stamp and signature. Also, one of his men already confess. Caspein is already on the way to the palace. I also contacted Kros. They will abduct the crown prince and the princess. "

"What the hell!"

"Kros is already at the east palace. Archie is already in the princess room. Pierson is already on the way as well as Boun. Keep the queen safe."

BANG! BANG! BANG!

I immediately ended the call. I grab the Niel robe and enter the bathroom.

"What's going on?" Niel asked. Her hands trembled as she adjusted her nightgown.

"I'll tell you later. For now, come with me." I wrap the robe around here and pull him out of the bathroom. I press something on the wall. Two of the book shelves move, opening the secret door in the room.

"Sharon take the queen. You know what to do. Hand over the queen to Mr. Bermouth."

"Mr. Bermouth?" Niel asked. She looked at me confused with what I said.

"You will meet your father. I'm willing to tell you everything of who you really are. But since you are going to meet your father, you can asked him."

"How ....?"

"Later okay. I need to save our children first." I planted a kiss on his forehead then left the room immediately.

Half way, I meet Archie, carrying Reigh who is crying loudly. Behind him is Anna who is obviously frigthened of what is happening but still manage to carry the blanket and the organizer box of Reigh feeding bottles and milk.

"Daddy! Waaaahhhh! Daddy there is a bang bang!" Reigh cry loud when he saw me. I grab her from Archie and hug her tight. She is shivering.

"It's okay baby. Daddy is here. I will keep you safe." I said while rubbing her back.

"How (sob) about mommy (sob) and my brother?" Reigh asked, hugging me tightly.

"Your mommy is with your grandfather as of this moment. Your brother ..... I'll get him."

"Will he be safe too?"

"He will. Now, go with uncle Archie. He will send you to your mom. I'll go ahead to your brother." Reigh nodded her head. I hand her over to Archie.

"Keep my daughter safe Archie."

"I will bro, don't worry. Go and get the crown prince."

"Thanks." Then I turned my back to him and ran towards the East Palace.
