NIEL'S POV

I don't have enough sleep. Reigh keep on tossing on the bed last night as expected. I even put the aircon on the very low temperature to cool down the room faster. I think it's past 2 in the dawn when she finally fall asleep.

I need to woke up early for a first day greeting to the elder, so in the end, I didn't have enough sleep. It's a tradition that always exercise by married couple all over the kingdom. They need to greet the parents of the guy or girl  together on the first day of being married, depends on where they stay on their wedding night. The elders or parents will give blessing or advice to them for their union.

I let out a deep sigh as Sharon is fixing my hair. I let the nanny to dress Reigh as I need to fixed myself also.

I know the whole palace knew that I did  not sleep with the king last night. It will be a huge gossip and I know that the elders knew it already. I can reason it out, but if Reigh will sleep by herself tonight peacefully, then I have to sleep with the king, which I really don't know if I can do it.

I hate him. I thought he is honest with me as I am to him. But he's not. He keep me on the dark about Megan. Not to mention that Megan seems pregnant.

"Mommy look." Reigh voice make me come to my sense again. I turn around and smile as I see Reigh happy and smiling face.

"Am I pretty in this dress?" Reigh asked, then she make a 360 degree spin.

"Of course you are. You are pretty in all kind of dress baby." I said as I examine the white flowy dress she's wearing.

It has a short sleeve. It's below the knee length with a flower design on the waist and gold sequence on the hem. It so simple, yet elegant. Reigh obviously carry it the expected way, giving her an innocent and kind aura.

"Will grandmother and great grandmother like it?" Reigh walk towards me. Her nanny, Anna, went back to the table where all Reigh ornament and jewelry lay.

"They will." I said pinching gently her cheeks. She looks so happy. Her eyes is twikling like a star in the night sky.

"Can I stay with auntie Jam later?" Reigh sit beside me and look at the huge mirror in front of us. Anna stand behind her and start fixing her hair.

"I'm sorry baby, but you can't. You and your brother need to meet your new teacher after the breakfast."

"Then, after meeting the teacher can I stay with her?"

"Let see. If auntie Jam don't have any appointment, then maybe you can stay with her."

"I hope she don't have any. I want to stay with her. She said she will teach me how to stay pretty." Reigh pouted.

"Why not asked auntie Bai for that?"

"She's busy with her lovelife." I laugh when Reigh rolled her eyes.

"Well, she's already in the right age to get marry."

"I don't want to marry someone." Reigh answer me out of the blue.

"Why?" I curiously asked. The last time I remember she have a crush to one of her classmate. If I'm not mistaken, his name is Kier.

"Nothing. I just don't like it."

I just shrugged my shoulder. She's still young to be asked about this, but sometimes in royal family, they betrothed the princess at the young age. There is a possibility that it will happen to Reigh. And if Reigh don't want the idea, I have to be on her side. It's her life and her decision to make after all.

After an hour, Max fetched us. We go together on the hall where the elders are waiting. I keep my silent until we reach the hall.

Reigh immediately run to princess Jam as soon as we enter the hall. She greet the elders first before us making others to laugh.

"Good morning mother, grand mother." Max and I greet them in unison.

"I heard a rumor that the Niel did not sleep in the wedding room and spent the whole night in the princess room. Why is that?" Great queen dowager asked in a very flat tone.

"Grand mother, I'm sorry for that. Reigh keep on crying last night. She was to tired because of the ceremony. She can't sleep because of tiredness and it made hin throwing tantrums until she will keep on crying. No one can put her on sleep aside from me."

"Is that so. Okay. But make sure that tonight you will sleep together. Asked Anna to restrain the princess from doing  tiresome activity."

"Yes grandmother."

"Take a sit." Max immediately grab my arm and supported me to sit. Then he sit on my right while Ryu sit on my left.

"Reigh." Great queen dowager gently called Reigh.

I look at her. She slowly stand and look at his great grandmother with ready to cry eye.

"Yes great grandmother." Reigh said.

The great queen dowager laugh. She signal Reigh to come near her and my daughter followed it.

"Mommy, if Reigh cry right now, this place will turn upside down." Ryu whispered behind my ears.

"I know right." And we both giggle.

"Great grand mother are you mad to Reigh." My daugther asked. She start to sob.

"Of course not. You did  nothing wrong."

"But mommy sleep with me last night and not with my daddy. Daddy sperm cell and mommy egg cell should meet last night and greet each other."

I blink so many time. My jaw drop. My face heated. I think my soul just left my body.

"Where did you learn that?" Mother asked Reigh, restraining herself to laugh.

"On the book. It's not exactly like that. According to the book, daddy need to work hard so that his sperm cell can go out from his testicles. Then, they will swim inside mommy and meet the egg cell. It was a race. Who when will enter the egg cell and boom there will be a baby."

I close my eyes and massage my temple. Reigh love math than reading but, if she start reading, she will absorb it right away and it will retain to her memory. Reigh has an Photographic Memory, same with Ryu. It's just that Ryu love reading while Reight hate it for some reason.

"Do you want a sister or a brother?" Mother asked again.

"Hmm. I want three more siblings."

"How about you Ryu?" The great queen dowager asked my son.

"It' okay with me. And I'm willing to let Reigh sleep in my room so that she will not bother our parents."

"I will not bothered them anymore. I will behave so that the sperm cell and egg cell will meet and greet, I promise."

They all laugh, while I already praying that the ground eat me. Having smart kids is not good at all. I'm proud of them, but in this situation, I really don't know what to feel. All I want if for the ground to open and swallow me.

"The royal consort is here!" A shout outside the hall made us all stop.

Royal consort? I looked at Max. He just simply smile at me. He reach my hand and squeezes it gently.

Then, Megan enter the hall, supported by her maid, she make his courtesy and greetings to us.

"Greetings grand mother, mother, king, queen." Megan said.

So, Megan is a Royal Consort, Max concubine. And I'm not fucking aware of it.

"Megan, your here. I told you that you can skip the morning greetings. You have to sleep long and rest because you are pregnant." Mother said.

I'm right. I'm fucking right.

I look somewhere. I inhaled and exhaled, trying to calm myself. I know, having a consort or concubine is normal, but the fact that I was keep in the dark is shit!

"Who is she grandmother?" I heard Reigh asked.

"She is your father consort."

"As in mistress?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

I looked at Reigh. She walk near Megan, then look at her from head to toe. Her eyebrow immediately raised. She passed Megan while rolling her eyes and went straight beside her brother. She is mad.

"It's the queen first day here. Greeting her is a must. Besides, I'm feeling okay now. No morning sickness. Thank you for your concern mother." Megan said in a very gentle voice.

"What an ugly consort." I heard Reigh murmured. Ryu immediately reprimand her.

"That's good to hear. Just take care of your health."

"I will mother. Also, the king is also taking good care of me. You don't have to worry too much."

She has a consort, a queen material to be exact. Then, why did Max marry me? For popularity? For the kids?

Yeah right. He just marry me because of the kids. He needs to make me queen so that Ryu will become a crown prince. I just expect too much, which I should not.
