NIEL'S POV

They said that getting married or weddings is one of the nerve wracking event in life. And I will say yes, it is.

Standing behind the big gate, wearing a traditional red, long, flowy gown with cape and heavy gold headress with phoenix design. Jewelry that is a little bit heavy also. Behind me is a group of palace maids who's head is low down. Two palace maid beside me, ready to assits me when the gate open.

Everything is making me nervous, uneasy and awkward at the same time.

I want to back out. I want to remove all I'm wearing, grab my twins and runaway again. I feel so suffocated, not to mention what I'm wearing is a little bit tight.

Coronation is also serve as a wedding for the king and the choosen lady. After that a real coronation will happen. After this, I will be Max other half and queen officially. It will be follow by a public appearance of both of us on one of the palace balcony

I don't want to go through the whole process and ceremony. It feels like people will know the real me anytime. I'm nervous that I will make a mistake that will reveal the real me and put everyone in jeopardy.

"Nervous baby?"

Immediately, I turn my head and my eyes got wide when I saw Max standing beside me and looking at me lovingly.

He is wearing a red king suit with a lot of things hanging on it. I don't know those things called. All I know is that knowing and memorizing its name will give me a headache.

"Why are you here?" I asked, ignoring the movement of people around us. He is dazzling. He looked hot and gorgeous in his suit or should I say uniform. Coz it look like a uniform for me rather that a king suit.

"I know you will be nervous, so I decide to come with you rather than waiting inside." Max happily said. Then, he caress my face and smile. "You're beautiful. I want to be selfish this very moment. I want to hide this beauty so that only my eyes can see it."

My face feel hot. I bow down my head to hide my face. Damn this king. Why he had to said it right know.

"Go inside Max. You shoud not be here." I commanded him, still hiding my face.

According to tradition, Max should wait inside together with all.of the royalties. I will walk alone in the carpeted isle. Then, Max will come down and fetch me down the stair and we will go up together and do the rest of the ceremony. And him being here, will surely gain a lot of feedback from the people inside.

"You sure? As far as I see, you need me beside you." Max naughtly said, making me pout secretly.

"Fine. Be with me." I said in the low voice.

He hold my chin with his one hand and lift my head up. "Good decision my queen."

I just make face as a rebuttal on what he said.

"Let's begin." Max whispered at me, followed by small kisses in my neck. I pinched his side secretly. He is getting more naughty.

He laugh low then he turned to the person behid him and whispered something. Then, he looked at me again and wink. I rolled my eyes and stand straight on my spot.

The gate opened and the music from inside start playing.  I put the fan I am holding in my chest
Max offer his hand to me and I don't hesitate to accept it. The maids beside me stand on my back, ready to support me when needed.

"Relax Niel. I'm with you." Max said.

"I want but I can't. So lets this one finished. I want to be with my kids." I answered.

We walked in. I hold Max hand tightly as if my life depend on it.

The people inside bow their head as we pass on them. Everyone give us a deep bow, showing how they respected us or the king.

Aside to him, the left prime minister.

I don't know but there is a deja vu. I know who he is. I meet him not only once, but many times when my mother is working as servant to their family. He is Megan's father and he has a strong connection to everyone with position in the kingdom.

But now that I meet him again, it feels weird. It is a deja vu. I can't exactly describe it.

I got chill. I got goosebump. The hair in my body is raising, and my head is aching. Blurry images is flashing. Blurry image of a man holding something in his hand. I don't know what is it and who is that man. All I know is I still forgot something. Something very important.

"Are you okay?" Max asked as we step up in the stair.

"I'm not." I honestly answered.

"Why?" Max asked again.

"I'll tell you later."

"Okay."

We reach at the top of the stair. The Great ueen dowager smile at me, the same as the Queen dowager. Princess Bai and Princess Jam smile at me also before they bow their head.

All the elder of the inner court is present. The prince sibling of Max is also their and give their courtesy to me.

I smile and give a bow also to them. But my smile immediately gone when I saw her.

Megan.

She is standing behind the queen dowager. Wearing a white gown, the same with the other. She smile at me and bow her head, then she caress her lower tummy. Then, she looked at me again and simply smile.

I didn't expect her to be here. Max didn't mention her existence in the palace. And why is she caressing her lower belly. Is she telling me she is pregnant? If she is, then....

I looked at Max. I caught him looking at Megan.

Is he the father of Megan unborn child?

What the hell! Why he didn't tell me that Megan is here?

Max looked at me. I stare at him blankly. He let out a deep sigh.

"I'll explain to you about Megan later." He said. I can't see any guilt feelings in his eyes.

If I didn't see Megan in the crowd of his family, does he have any plan to tell me about here being here in the palace?

"I don't need it. Let's just finished this. I'm not feeling well and I want to rest." I said in a cold tone.

"Okay." Max answered.

What the sense of explanation if in the first place he don't have any plan to tell me about Megan. Explanation is just an excuse on everything and I don't need excuses.

Is this the reason why I'm still hesitating on everything?

Maybe and I should follow my instinct.

It hurts. I complete trust him. I thought he is really honest to me as I did to him. But, no. Maybe, everything is a lie. He just want the twin. And knowing that I will not give him the twin, he resorted in this.

It feels like I'm a third party here, ruining everything betweem him and Megan and I feel horrible as fucked!
