Black boots clashed with fire filled bricks, sending sparks from every step they took. Heavy breathing filled the air as the two looked for some sort of why to escape the firey pits. The hot air sizzling around them made small droplets of sweat drip from their burning foreheads. The two demons jolted into a room, only to be followed by the two others chasing them.

Laurence snapped around, his blood red as scanning over the two who had slammed the door why shut. "I hope you die." Laurence spat, clutching his blade tighter as he back himself towards the back wall.

Zane laughed maniacally, narrowing his visible red eye at the brunette. "Your the one to die."

Vlyad gritted his teeth, showing his fangs. "Your really gonna kill your own brother?"

Travis let out a laugh from besides his partner, his purple eyes glowing in the seemingly dark room. "Of course not, I get that honor~"

Zane and Travis were a team, both demons. They had no real goal expect to make everyone suffer. It was their way of revenge for what others had done to them. The world beat them done until they were wrecks unable to feel anything. The two are the only thing that keep each other happy because they felt each Other's pain. And soon, became lovers. They can't live without one another.

Vlyad's eyes rushed around the vacant room, desperately trying to find a mean of escape. The two shadow knights back up farther into room, feeling the tips of blades starting to pressing against their amour covered chests, pricing through the metal.  Suddenly a glow lit up from behind the two's back. All four looked at the towards the light's source. A oval like scores beams hung from the brick wall. The walls of the small object were pure white with small indents shaped as vines, hearts, and other beautiful patterns. The darkness in the small object had started to swirl, lighting up more until the lights were blinding.

The four went back to their original task, their swords basically at each other's throats. Zane snarled, shoving his blade towards Vlyad. "I'm going to enjoy watching you die, baby brother..." A crooked smile slipped from his mouth, showing small fangs.

Vlyad moved farther back, his back now pressing against the brick wall behind them, ignoring the blinding light. Acid welled from his red eyes slipping down his damaged face.

When you become a Shadow Knight a few things change, your eye color are is always red, your fingernails are sharpen and more. Instead of tears, Shadow knights cry acid and blood, depending on the class of Shadow knight you are. Zane and Laurence both cry blood, being a stronger class than Vlyad.

Vlyad pressed himself against the small object hanging on wall. In a flash, is body started to fade, turning into pure light. Everyone stared in shock as the light completely faded, With Vlyad no longer standing there.

A smirk fell across Laurence's lips as he looked over to the two in front of him. He grabbed Zane's sword, noting caring the blade was seeping through his skin, dragging out the blood. Laurence pulled on the blade, also pulling Zane with great force. Zane let out a small gasp at the sudden movement and tried pulling away. Laurence grabbed Zane and threw him against the wall, his body turning into pure light and fading.

Travis stared in shock as Laurence smirked more. He pressed his fingers against his forehead, giving Travis a small salute before backing up into the object, fading as well. Travis was in utter silence, stepping forward, his demon tail flickered from one side to another. He reached out, his fingertips brushing over the smooth, glowing surface. A jolt of pain was sent through him as the two made contact. The small object's light faded to show what seemed to be mirror.

Travis realized that portal, was a portal only shadow knights could go through...
