It was the Wednesday after Takeover . Everyone was hyped to see what would be the fallout of Takeover Brooklyn. Ashley, who had a promo that night was getting ready to address the NXT universe about her title win last Saturday. Her boyfriend, on the other hand, was getting ready for his debut match on NXT. He was taking on Johnny Gargano tonight. As Brandon arrived, he greeted and shook the hands of everyone he came across as he headed to his locker room. As he was heading that way, he met up with Ashley.

Ashley: Hey hotshot! Ready for your debut tonight?

Brandon: I'll pretend like I didn't hear that first part. Yeah, I was born ready.

Ashley giggled a bit as they shared a hug and she left him to continue prepping for his match.

Rebecca: So how are you two lovebirds doing?

Ashley: Honestly he is the one, and I'm not joking when I say that.

Rebecca: Awe! I'd ship it!

The two talked a bit before they saw Brandon walking towards gorilla for his match.

Ashley: 1 sec.

Rebecca: Go get 'em

She caught up to him, and saw him stretching near the entrance to gorilla.

Ashley: Showtime.

Brandon: Yes indeed, time to show the world what BP is all about.

Ashley looked at him and saw a look of confidence on his face.

Ashley: Damn straight!

She patted him on the back as his music started to play, and he started to make his way to the ring.

Kayla: The following contest is scheduled for 1 fall!

Crowd: 1 fall!!

Kayla: Introducing first, From Jacksonville Florida, weighing in at 234 pounds, Brandon Powers!

With that Brandon made his way to the ring to take on his opponent none other than Johnny Wrestling himself, Johnny Gargano.

The bell rang and the two stared each other down for a few minutes, then locked up in the center of the ring. Later in the match, Gargano was looking for his submission maneuver "The Gargano Escape", but Brandon countered the submission and hit him with a superkick, and worked the crowd before setting up for the modified kinsasha, also known as "The Power Outage" and went for the cover.

Kayla: Here's your Winner, Brandon Powers!

The crowd showered him with cheers for his impressive victory over Gargano. The two stood in the ring facing each other, Johnny stuck out his hand and Brandon shook it and Gargano raised his hand as the crowd cheered some more. With that the two headed to the back.
