Namjoon walks through the luxurious halls, looking worried. He heads towards the courtyard where Soju the lion lives. Soju is not used to being chained, Y/n gave him and Gaenip more love then she did to her own kids. And without Y/n, Soju was becoming wild.

The maids approach him, looking scared.

"Your Majesty, Soju is not happy. He misses Queen Y/n, he is becoming wild without her." one of the maids whispers.

Namjoon's face shows concern as he hears the news. He cherishes her memory and everything.

Namjoon chuckled, "Even I am getting wild without her."

The maids warn Namjoon not to go near Soju because the lion might be dangerous in his current state.

But Namjoon, wanting to calm Soju, decides to approach the courtyard despite the risks. As he steps forward, the sound of Soju's roars grows louder, filling him with fear.

"Your Majesty, please stay away. It's dangerous." The maid said.

"I see, Only Y/n can calm the rage of the beast." Namjoon said.

"She couldn't calm your rage." Jungkook said from behind. Namjoon turned and looked at Jungkook.

"You are calling me a beast?" He asked.

"Aren't you?" Jungkook asked back. Namjoon chuckled.

"She fuels my rage, while no one else dares to talk back." Namjoon said

Jungkook smiled. "She sure does, but there is a thing called self control. If a man has self control and hurts his woman, he is the weakest person on this planet."

Jungkook stepped closer to Soju, and Soju roared at Jungkook. He sat on the floor. Jungkook moved closer and caressed Soju's long fur.

Namjoon stared at Soju, who looked like he was about to feast on Namjoon turning into a cat In Front of Jungkook.

"Every man has his way to love his woman, you are a kid. You will not understand." Namjoon replied.

"I don't want to understand." Jungkook replied, while playing with Soju's hair, he looks calm now. Jungkook stood up. "I was here just to say bye. I am going back."

Namjoon nodded his head. And Jungkook walked away. Namjoon looked at Soju, and he stepped a little closer and Soju stood up, and again started roaring. Trying to attack him but the chain didn't allow him too.

Y/n settled into the cozy room, her eyes dancing over the vibrant greenery that enveloped the space.

The abundance of plants breathed life into the air. A gentle smile played on her lips as she glanced up at the man who delicately served her a steaming cup of green tea.

"Where do you hail from, my dear?" He asked.

Y/n told him the same fake story that she has been telling to everyone.

"And what of you?" Y/n countered softly, her gaze locking onto the man's warm, kind eyes.

The man looked happy as he talked about the things he likes to do. He told Y/n about how he paints, explores plants, and writes stories. Y/n felt impressed by how much he knew and the many things he had done. He seemed kind, like a father, making her trust him more.

As their conversation deepened, Y/n's curiosity tugged at her, and she inquired about someone dear to her heart. "Do you know Yuri?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Why are you asking?" He said.

"Oh, I am her friend." She said she couldn't think of anything else.

"If you are her friend, Leave this place at once," he commanded, his voice laced with an uncharacteristic sharpness.

Y/n was surprised by the sudden change of tone. "Why?"

"Never mention that name again. Please leave." He said. Y/n stared at him. It just confirmed something that she wanted to know.

"I am sorry, I am not her friend. I just want to know if you know her or not." Y/n said.

"It's better to not know that woman. She ruins lives for entertainment. I believe she can't see anyone happy-"

"She d'ed." Y/n said. And he stared at her and he was silent.

"I don't care," he said but his expression was saying something else.

"But it seems like you do." Y/n said.

"It's just when I hear her name I get reminded of my child, I don't even know the gender. She left me, and when she returned. She said the kid d'ed." He exclaimed. Y/n knows where that child is, she was sitting in front of him.

But she didn't have courage to say anything. How is she gonna tell him that she is her daughter? She decided to just not say anything.

At least now she knew who her father was.

___

Y/n stood by the window, her gaze fixed on the courtyard below. She doesn't know what she was expecting when she met her father. She wasn't expecting anything honestly, Namjoon k'lled her feelings for every relationship.

As the whispers of the courtiers reached her ears, Jungkook returned.

He made his way to Y/n first, to see how she was doing. A rush of excitement filled him as he strode toward her, his determined footsteps echoing throughout the chamber.

"Y/n," he breathed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I missed you baby."

Y/n turned to face him, "This palace was boring without you too."

Her reply made Jungkook smile. "So you miss me?"

"A little. Yuna was great company. Also Dahyun and Hanni." Y/n said.

"Who are Dahyun and Hanni?" Jungkook asked. Y/n suddenly remember what they said.

"Jungkook," she began, "I have heard troubling tales of your treatment of the concubines. Why were you so cruel to them?"

"Who said I was?" Jungkook asked.

"Everyone in the concubine chamber."

"Why were you there Y/n?" He asked.

"Answer me first, most of them are here against their wish and they were innocent girls. Why you had k'll and torture them liket hat? That's an awful thing." Y/n asked.

"Y/n, I was mad at myself because I knew what was going on with you, but I couldn't protect you, making others go through the same physical pain gave me relief." Jungkook said.

"Jungkook, that sounds horrible,"

Jungkook's expression softened, his gaze locking onto hers with unwavering sincerity. "Y/n, I assure you, I was not cruel," he explained, his voice laced with remorse. "It made me feel bad know you were going through so much pain and torture every single day, and I couldn't do anything for you."

Y/n didn't look fine with his reply. He cupped her face. "I was merely childish and foolish, allowing my immaturity to cloud my judgment. I never meant to bring harm to anyone."

"I see," she murmured, a sense of empathy enveloping her. "It pains me to think of the misfortunes that befell those innocent souls."

Jungkook reached out, gently clasping Y/n's hand in his own. "Sorry, tell me why you were in the concubine chamber?"

"Oh and your brother sent me to the concubines chamber. I had to live there for two whole nights. So why did you bring me here? So I get disrespected like this?"

"He what? Why? How dare he? He knew you were my guest," Jungkook said.

"That's the problem, I am a guest here and I am used to being a queen." Y/n exclaimed.

"I couldn't imagine him doing something like that, I am sorry baby." He kissed her forehead.

___

In the grand throne room, Jungkook confronted his older brother, the crown prince Jimin, his voice trembling with a mixture of anger and disbelief. "How dare you send her to be a concubine?" he demanded, his fists clenching at his sides.

Jimin met Jungkook's gaze with a cool resolve. "It was for the good of the kingdom," he stated firmly, his tone laced with authority. "Our father's decree required it for political stability."

Jungkook's eyes blazed with an intensity that reverberated through the chamber. "But she is my guest, the one I wish to marry," he protested, his voice echoing with desperation.

Their father rose from his throne, his commanding presence silencing the room. "Jungkook," he began, his voice steady. "You must calm yourself. He must ensure that Y/n understands her position. Punished her accordingly for any misstep"

"Jungkook, she misbehaved and hurt a court lady." Jimin said.

"So? She could have k'll her. I would still not let anyone question her. She can do whatever she wants here." Jungkook exclaimed.

"Jungkook things can't work like that," Jimin said.

"They will, and father, don't you think he broke the role too by sending my fiance to live in a concubine chamber when I was not here?" Jungkook questioned.

He nodded his head. "Prince Jungkook is right, you shouldn't have done it."

___

"You don't wanna know how they are doing in Seoul?" Jungkook asked, he was laying his head on her lap. Y/n shook her head.

"They will be fine without me." She replied, while caressing his hair softly.

"I talked about having an official engagement to my father." Jungkook said. She stopped and stared at Jungkook.

"Seriously?" She asked.

"Yes, I promise you will get all the rank and respect after I marry you." He kissed her hand.

"I don't want the rank of being married to some." She said.

"I know baby, but just give me some time." He kissed her hand.

"Can you invite Namjoon too for an engagement?" Y/n said. And Jungkook looked at him surprised.

"Are you for real? If I do, he will take you back, and everything will be ruined." Jungkook said. Y/n smirked and caressed his hair.

"Nothing will be ruined, just trust me. And now just do as I say, I have just a perfect plan for you, so you could become the King."
