Chapter 85
Rolli and Dev had extended their stay on Ranvijay's request, they understood that Aadhavan and Neelambari would love to have some more time with little Rathore Princess. She had become life of the Palace. Dev didn't miss that Rathore lives now revolved around little Vrushali, who slowly was getting familiar to all voices and faces around her.
Dev sat on the marble bench with Laddoo in her arms. His forefinger and thumb gently massaged he forehead. He smiled when she her eyelids drooped. He gently stopped the massage and she opened her eyes staring at him. Dev chuckled, he repeated, and she responded the same way. ''I am your mamu, not your masseur.'' Vrushali seemed to disagree as she started moving her limbs. Dev chuckled pecking her forehead. ''What makes you this happy?'' Dev repeated the massage and then stopped it mid way and Vrushalli again stared back at him.
''That is how dare you stop look.'' Rolli said with a smile
''This one is going to be a bigger drama then you.''
''She must be. Otherwise who will extract my revenge from Vicky.'' Dev just rolled his eyes. He always believed Vikram to be a harsh one but now, he knew his wife was the leader in all kinds of pranks.
''I will be out for the evening. Ani, will stay with Patti.''
''Anything urgent.''
''Meeting an old friend.'' Dev stared at his wife; her face was blank. He smiled. ''Just meet, don't kill.'' She just smiled, but it was high time she taught lesson to someone.

Ananya paced her room, her eyes going to the door. She and Ranvijay wanted things to go smooth for Vansh and Chitra . To attain that, they had decided to first talk to the kids. Ananya shook her head, she had asked Chitra to meet her in the evening, but the girl had gone crazy about her job. Ananya was about to make a call when Chitra stepped in with a knock. ''Good evening Hukum!''
''Why are you late?''
''I was smelling like a cocktail of spices.'' Ananya sook her head pulling Chitra down next to her. ''Listen to me and carefully. Hereon, you will do as I say.'' Chitra nodded. ''Chitra, Sitara will not agree and will do all in her might to stop you from going ahead with your relationship with Vansh.''
''We already had a fight yesterday.''
Ananya huffed. ''This is what I wanted to talk about, Ranvijay will handle your mother. Hereon, you will not react to Sitara's anger. Whatever she does or says, be neutral. You are going to handle her anger silently.''
''Hukum, its difficult. I too have her anger.''
''Chitra, take it as an order. Sitara is using her anger, you will counter with silence. If I hear about you disobeying me, I will pluck both your ears.'' Chitra pressed her lips nodding her head. Ananya patted her cheek, a smile stretched on to her lips. ''Attack is countered with an attack. Aggression can only be handled by well thought silence.'' Ananya recalled the lesson Rudrani Devi taught her. No wonder, people feared her silence more than words. Chitra took her and leave, Ananya decided to speak to Dipika first. Ranvijay was the last option, she knew Sitara had always been close to Dipika and she could change things for her.

Vikram gently rolled the ball as Ani tried to hit it. Ani missed the shot running after the ball to hit it. Vikram and others waited patiently for him to come back. Badal followed the little boy and he tried hard to hit the small ball hard. Ani finally could roll the back ball to Vikram and then dropped his bat tired. Lifting his tiny arms up he pleaded. ''I am tired Mamu.'' Vikram smiled lifting him up. ''My little Ani is such a good boy.'' Ani rubbed his face all over Vikram's shoulder, grabbed on to his shirt and dozed off. ''He is nothing like our Princess.'' Badal added
Vikram smiled. ''If it was Rolli in his place, she would have first thrashed the ball, then cursed it before kicking it hard. This one is so gentle.'' The two men laughed recalling how aggressive the Rathore Princess go if on verge of defeat.
''She is out to meet Siddhant.'' Badal added
Vikram froze. ''Follow her, all her guards are crazy like her. I don't want her killing him.'' Badal nodded walking away. Vikram pecked Ani's small shoulder carrying him in. The boy was such an angel compared to his sister. He again hugged the sleeping Ani before leaving him with Neelambari. He ad to figure out what was his sister upto.
Vikram walked back to his room to check on Princess and found her squealing at the sound merry go round made. He looked around and found Sona busy in arranging the dresser. Moving to his daughter, he lifted her off the crib talking to her randomly.
Vrushali responded making small sound and then Vikram jumped. ''no..no. You don't go there.'' Sona frowned and stepped out but what she saw made her roll with laughter. ''Don't just laugh.''
''Why? Your daughter wants you to feed her, do it.'' Sona teased as Vrushali went about her second quest around her father's chest. ''Laddoo, I am your dad not mom.'' She squealed louder. Vikram stared at her, ''Why do I feel she has more anger than me?''
Sona rolled her eyes. ''She is just hungry. If Laddoo wasn't turning cranky, I would have let you suffer for some more time.'' Vikram shook his head, he was thankful Laddoo didn't attempt to breast feed on him in his family's presence. They would have teased him for life. He decided never to place the Rathore princess against his chest without three layers of clothing. He didn't miss the giggles of Sona who seemed to have an amazing time watching his plight. ''Stop laughing and dare you tell that to anyone!''
Sona gave him a challenging stare. Vikram huffed. ''Please, I am begging to keep this to us.'' She nodded and started laughing again.
''Stop!''
''I can't. That was so funny.'' She replied laughing aloud. He decided to lock himself in study till his wife gained her senses.

''Hey! It's a surprise.'' Siddhant took a step to hug his log time friend but his feet came to halt when Aahana Dev Singh pushed him back. ''I am not your friend. I am Raina's elder sister. Let's talk.''
''What about her?''
''You know it very well Siddhant.''
''You don't know a thing.''
Rolli's lips twisted. She pulled her phone and pushed the play button. It had two videos, one of her wedding reception, and other of the recent party. ''That proves nothing.''
''Shut it Raghuvanshi! Use those words with your parents who would believe all the rubbish you utter. I know what you did. If you think she is trying to be me, you are wrong. You crushed her feelings and she decided to something better with her heart. You are one of those men who enjoy tormenting true feelings of a girl and when she stops paying attention, you blame her for being her pricey.''
''Rolli.''
''Mrs Dev Singh! If you think I will side with you, no.''
''I don't have time for this.'' Siddhant got up to leave.
Rolli moved her eyes and found a shield sword set on the wall, pulling out one she kept it over his throat. ''I don't care for your rank or your power, but here this out, you misbehave with my sister, I will chop your head off.''
''Princess, you are on our lands.'' Om Raghuvanshi roared. He had been informed about the heated discussion about his staff and he decided to intervene. Rolli smile, ''And this makes me all the way more dangerous. I think you should send your son back to some behavioral school.'' Moving forward she played the video for Om, his face turned red in embarrassment.
''Don't support your son blindly. Its generation of friendship that's keeping the hands tied but if he continues, you are aware what can happen.''
''Are you threating us.'' Om asked
''Did it sound like one. If yes, then may be.'' Om's eyes moved all over Rolli's face, there wasn't even a single line of fear. ''Siddhant was warned against stepping anywhere close to Raina, but he seemed to ignore it. What do you think about it?''
Om stayed silent. Rolli added, ''About me warning on your lands, well your sone misbehaved on mine.'' She threw the sword in a corner and the crackling sound echoed the room. The Suryagarh Queen walked away leaving father son in silence. Om was simmering with anger; his son just stained the legacy of his family. ''I think you should go back to your base, that would be good for all.''
Siddhant racked his hand through his hair, he didn't know what to do next.
Chitra smiled staring at the dress, vansh has gifted her a traditional outfit and they planned to sneak out to visit the annual fair in Jaigarh. They had both decided to take a disguise to perk up the romance and escape the guards.
Sitara was out od Jaigarh as Dev had requested her to help him design a proper security for the old fort and Chitra knew she wouldn't be back till tomorrow. She quickly got into the dress and tied the glittering robe around her waist to the shoulders. ''Are you going somewhere?'' Her father asked
''Yes dad, I am going out with friends, we all planned to dress alike.'' Baljit nodded
Chitra quickly messaged once, covered her head and stepped out of the Palace premises. Vansh pulled up a jacket and stepped out of his room, making sure no one spotted him. He quickly got into his car smiling at the security who gave him a suspicious glance.
Once Vansh drove off, the security picked up the phone and dialed Hemant. ''Vansh Hukum just left without any security and he was weirdly dressed.'' Hemant frowned and decided to send few guards to keep a check on the young prince. ''This is one is just like Ranvijay, loves to sneak out.''

The Rathores sat in the hall enjoying their family time playing with Ani and Vrushali. ''We will be leaving tomorrow.'' Dev said. After a minute of hesitance, he added. ''I was thinking if Sona and Laddoo can stay with us for few days.''
''They will. Once Laddoo is 3 months, I will make sure she visits her Nanu for good time.'' Ananya promised before any Rathore could open their mouth. Ranvijay just smiled hugging the baby close. She gave him a silent stare. He curled his lip, and she rolled she rolled her eyes. ''Mom, can I visit the fair?'' Sona asked, since her daughter's birth she had been forced to rest and now it bored her. Shivangi smiled. ''Vikram, take her now. It's the third day and you will find beautiful stuff.'' Vikram nodded, when his eyes met that of his wife, she had a smile on her face. He glared at her and she chuckled. ''Share the joke.''
''There is no joke mom. I should take her out, she is going crazy sitting at home'' and Sona laughed louder as Vikram dragged her out. ''Now I am curious.'' Ananya whispered
''Me too.'' Dipika chorused. They decided to coax Sona to spill the beans. A loud squeal took their attention and they found Ranvijay pinching Vrushali's nose and she kept protesting it. ''She is one angry bird.''
