Chapter 69
The bride and Groom's family sat together for a lavish breakfast the next morning of the wedding. Neelambari sipped the ginger tea smiling to self. ''next time, I will bring along tea and coffee from my estate. You will love it.''
''Sure, we will.'' Shivangi Rathore replied
''The reception is tomorrow; I hope to see you all to bless the new couple.''
''We will be there, and thanks. You and your family made everything special for Dev.'' Ranvijay's voice came in respect. The elder lady smiled, ''You don't have to thank me for being there for my own child. Dev is my own and this is reason Dev and Aahana will have to come to my estate, then I will believe the all rituals completed. The Rathores nodded, in some time their beloved daughter was going to leave Jaigarh for her new home. Their hearts were happy yet pained.
Rolli moved from one room to the other, collecting all her scattered memories. She smiled recalling the moments she would claim all the toys and would hide behind her uncle and grandfather. She always took the advantage of being only girl child and was quite successful in that.
She locked the door behind her, moving towards her great grand mother's suite. Her eyes softened at her great grandmother's picture. She touched the base; ''I will make you proud.'' Dressed in bright yellow traditional attire, she had kept the jewelry minimal. She had chose to wear the head piece, heavy bangles , a pair of anklet and her wedding chain. Rolli brushed her fingers along the armrest of Rudrani Devi's chair, sitting on it next minute. Her fingers dug into the leather of the chair. She suddenly felt powerful and next minute she smiled. Rudrani Devi did had a effect on every one.
Stepping out she came face to face with Vikram. ''Hey Vicky.'' He just smiled, his eyes slightly red. ''Hey, are you crying.''
''Yes! My shadow, my friend, my sister is leaving.'' His voice came horse. She pulled his cheeks, wrapping her arms around him. ''I am going to miss you too.'' He held on to his younger sister for long. ''If you need me, just don't hesitate.''
''You really think I will. I got married, I am not changing a bit.'' He smiled cupping her small face. ''Her Highness, Queen Ahana Dev Singh.''
''No, I am representing Chachi. She is and will remain the Queen.'' Vikram smiled, his mother had different plans. He pulled her closer walking her to the room where all waited for the Princess.
With heavy heart, her family started the ritual to bid adieu to their loving Princess. Rolli followed the instructions, throwing fistful of rice behind her as she stepped forward. Tears came streaming down as her eyes met with each member of her family. She hugged her grandparents sobbing like a child. ''You are a fighter, and you can do amazing things.'' Giriraj Singh reminded his grand daughter. She nodded.
Veer decided to hold his tears, she filled the space of daughter but giving her a teary farewell would make her cry more. He could never take her tears. Veer pecked her forehead. ''Just a call away.'' She nodded.
Ananya seemed to have lost all her words, she just stood holding her loving daughter tightly in her embrace as mother daughter sobbed. Ananya hated that her daughter grew up to fast. Ranvijay took a step, pulling the duo in his arms. He pecked Rolli on the top her head, walking her to the waiting vehicle. ''She is my pride Dev, take care of her.'' Dev stepped forward, hugging Ranvijay. He didn't know why he did that but tears that his wife has shed made him weak.
Ranvijay walked his daughter in the vehicle, her brothers stood behind the vehicle to perform the final ritual. It was the custom that brothers shouldered palanquin of sister. Rolli pecked Vansh's cheek. ''Be a good boy.'' He nodded, not ready to look into her eyes. He had been hiding for long to hide his tears but now, it seemed impossible. Stepping forward, he hugged his sister tight. ''I love you.''
''So do I Vansh. I always have.''
As they were ready to go, the brothers gave a push. Neelmabari and others moved to the other vehicle when Sona held her grandmother's hand. ''I will stay, this is my home now and I am needed her more.'' Neelambari felt proud, she patted Sona's cheek giving her a hug
"I will go with Hukum.'' Ranvijay shook his head. Agni had been Rolli's guard and now was hell bent on accompanying her. His eyes went to Hemant and Sitara, who stood with blank faces. He knew it ought to be them. Sometimes he hated giving them all the freedom but then these two had giving Rathore kids more love than anyone else. He was about to open his mouth when Veer supported. ''I think we should let her go. Rolli will feel at home.'' Ranvijay gritted his teeth. ''You guys are making it look as if she is in danger.''
''Bhai, let it be.'' Dipika intervened. ''Agni, your vehicle is ready, with the dowry'' The young girl smiled and took leave.
''What dowry?''
''Bhai, Veer has gifted his niece 4 blood hounds.'' Dipika added with smile. Ranvijay could just shake his head. The Rathores watched as the caravan of vehicles disappeared. They were going to see her in a day, but the wait was very long.

Suryagarh welcomed the new Queen with flower shower. ''Take Princess to my room, and Dev go and rest in your room.'' Dev blinked but didn't move. Neelambari smiled, ''Till the knots on the thread around your wrist is undone, you two are not staying in single room.''
''And when do we do that.'' Dev asked as his aunts pulled his ear.
''Tomorrow morning.'' Dev face palmed as his wife was taken away from him. She just gave him a parting smile walking away with the family.
Rolli looked around the huge room, a permanent smile plastered to her lips. Her heart jumping in anticipation for the next day. She was still busy with her thoughts when a mellowing sound broke the chain. She turned and found a small kitten at the door, Stepping forward, she lifted it up, the collar read whiskey. ''Hi whiskey!'' She frowned. ''You bought me a message.'' Rolli carefully pulled out a small roll tugged in the collar.
''I am missing you terribly. Just give whiskey a kiss and I will collect from it.'' She laughed at Dev's message. Bringing Whiskey to her face level, she gave a peck to the cute kitten. ''Go my brave messenger, pass the message to the King.'' Whiskey mellowed as she gently put him down near the door, her eyes met Dev who winked at her. Rolli blushed, but her smile vanished when she came face to face with Nellambari.
''Patti!''
''Yes, I know. Soon the whole jungle will be here conveying his message. The boy loves all kind of animals. Get ready to wake up with Whiskey, nuts, munchkin ...and I don't remember the name.'' Rolli just sucked in her cheeks. After a minute , she found the kitten again at the door step making the Princess chuckle and Neelambari frown.

''We should also leave!'' Nandini declared. Dhananjay took a breath. ''We have to attend the reception. We will attend tomorrow and will go back directly from Suryagarh. It would save time.''
''I am ready to waste the time but not ready to to see that boy's face.'' Dhananjay rubbed his forehead. Along with Veer and Adi, the three had decided to work something out as Advay Urvi loved each other deeply. Before Dhananjay could say a word, came another order from his wife.
''Once home, I will call the guy's family I have chosen for Urvi.'' Leela's eyes moved to her sister who sat, her eyes staring blankly at the floor. She knew they were full of unshed tears. Out of all in her blood family, Urvi mattered to her the most. Leela shut her eyes once, she had to do but what never came to her mind. Her phone suddenly blinked with Maan's name and she smiled.
''I knew, I always knew that this acceptance was just a show. None of you cared about me.'' Leela's words bought a sudden shock. Urvi forgot everything for a moment. Leela smirked, ''Why surprised. Isn't it true?'' You accepted me guilty of being not their for my parents, but you forgot I should have got everything first. I am the elder one here. Did you even think about me?'' While Nandini felt guilty and went about consoling Leela, Dhananjay understood. He just shook his head, for now the discussion was closed but what would Leela do if Nandini decided to find her a suitable groom. He just stared up asking for some help.

''Urvi...please stop crying. I can't stand it.'' Advay pleaded.'' Leela had sneaked Urvi out of her mother's room to meet Advay, and now she has been inconsolable
''What do you expect? Between the ego of her and your mother, she is suffering.'' Leela answered huffing in anger. Maan extended a glass of water to her. Moving to Advay and Urvi he spoke, ''Talk it out.''
''We did Maan, but mom is acting unreasonable.'' Advay replied. Maan thought for a moment. ''Elope.'' The silence was broken by the drop of glass by Leela.
''No, my dad did that and never got to see his family. Urvi won't be able to take that pain.''
''Can you suggest a better plan?'' Silence again. Mann added, ''Listen to me carefully, you guys have 1.5 days. Today, is already gone but tomorrow, all will be busy with reception. You can sneak out.''
''What about the family?'' Urvi asked her beautiful eyes focused on Advay. He locked his with them. The eyes which turned his world upside down, the eyes he could never run from. The eyes he wanted to drown in. He smiled. ''They will come around. First, we get married.'' He pulled her to his chest hugging her tight.
Leela's phone pinged. It was a message from Dhananjay. ''Nandini is planning to search a groom for you.''
She crashed extending the phone to Urvi. The latter thought and replied, ''but I like someone.''
The reply came instant. ''Who?'' Leela jumped. ''Why Urvi?''
''I couldn't think.''
''Now where should I find this someone. I am not interested in relationship forget the wedding.'' Since there was no response, Dhananjay decided to call his niece. He had lost his brother but was in no mood to lose Leela. ''Who is he Leela? Out with it''
''I need time.''
''We will talk about time later, I need name.'' Dhananjay sounded serious. The other three stared at one another. ''Take any random name.'' Maan whispered
Leela didn't hear much being lost in her own thoughts. She couldn't think of an answer.
''Leela, speak now'' Dhanajay's voice boomed making her jump and at that moment, Maan nudged her. She opened her mouth to admonished him, but it trapped her deeper. ''Maan Ranawat...!''
''You like Maan. Adi's nephew. SInce when has this being going on? Listen young lady, I don't care what you think, but I need to see you immediately.'' With that I line went dead.
''You took my name. I am not a scapegoat.'' Maan retaliated
''Why did you nudge me?''
''You were frozen, but who knew that my waking you up would backfire on me. I am serious leela, if I get in trouble I won;t leave you.''
''Don't you try and show me your anger Ranawat, I can be worse.'' They argued blaming one another while Urvi Advay watched. The mess was getting bigger with each passing day.
''Go and clarify.''
''No point, he would have told my aunt, your uncle and your father.'' Leela Replied poking Maan's shoulder.
''I am out, I won't accept a thing.''
''What a coward brother you have Advay.'' Leela mocked Advay got up to intervene but was pushed away. Maan took a step. ''I am Maan Ranawat, and I am not a coward.''
''Fine then for few days, be in the role so that these two can get some time.'' Leela challenged. She was aware she had to divert the attention of all from Urvi to her, till Advay married Urvi.
''Advay, I am doing this for you and not for this mad woman.'' Maan walked off feeling irritated
''Idiot!'' Leela muttered
''A you are a bigger one.'' He replied peeping in the room before walking off again.
