Chapter 55

''Wow! I didn't know they allow in here.'' Urvi exclaimed as Advay walked her to the upper private deck.

''Yes, I got it booked..for us.'' He replied in a whisper helping her down on the chair. He knelt opposite to her. ''Sorry!''

''For what.''

''You know for what.''

She smiled. ''It doesn't matter. You aren't to be blamed.'' Advay watched the girl opposite to him. She was simple, without any drama Anyone in her place would have kicked him for what he did on her first meet. He held her hands between his bring them to his lips. She watched him shyly as he settled opposite to her on the floor, watching her as if she was the only star in the sky.

''Why do you stare like that?''

''Because I want to and it feels right.'' He replied, his eyes still on her. She blushed.

''Advay, do you want to speak about the day we met?''

''I was going to say yes before you decided to be honest.'' She blinked in surprise. ''Really.''

''Yes, why did you get up.''

She smiled. ''Had I not, you would have left me later.'' He came to her level, leaned and placed a deep peck on her forehead. ''I am not going to leave you ever.''

''Your mom didn't look happy.''

''I don't care.'' He got onto his feet, extending his hand. Her fingers moved to the clutch but he removed it. ''Trust me'' and she did. Advay looped her arms around his neck, lifting her body up from waist. The wind from the sea kissed their cheeks making it difficult to open their eyes. She leaned her head against his feeling the moment.

''Can we take this slow.'' She requested

''As you wish.''

''WHat are you worried about Raksha?'' Adi asked his wife of two decades as she watched their beloved daughter from distance.

''Siddhant's rejection is taking toll on her.'' Facing Adi she asked. ''Did we spoil her? Was all the extra love and attention the reason he rejected her? Yes, we spoiled her.''

Adi held her arm. ''If she was spoiled, Siddhant wouldn't be walking on his legs. The Ranawat family would have killed him for the words he had uttered to her. '' He was breathing hard, Raina wasn't just his life , she was the life line of extended Ranawat family. The whole Ranawat clan just had one girl child and she meant their world ,they were ready to kill for her. Raina's paternal cousins treated her like a doll, her wish was their command and if Siddhant's rudeness would have reached them, they would have avenged it.

''Its not Raina's mistake that she is the pampered one. Its Siddhant's bad luck that he never understood her affection. '' Raksha just nodded, but her daughter's silence was bothering her now.

''Listen, I am leaving and will reach there same time as yours.''Rolli whispered into her phone. Picking her duffel bag, she made her way to the exit making sure that least people noticed her. Instead of using the main exit, she took the elevator to garage, fired her jeep with an expectant grin before driving off. She didn't wanted her date to be spoiled with the presence  of her guards.

The annual flea market was on in Jaigarh and she had decided to enjoy the same with Dev as just a normal couple. They had been planning the date for a month and when the day had finally arrived, their hearts bubbled with excitement. Driving to a near by mall, Rolli changed into the simple clothes, left her hair lose so that they hid her face. She smiled to her reflection, her cheeks covered in natural blush. She was excited and had a reason, Ananya had decided to give a chance to Dev.

Hemant was on his daily routine to check on the security. He scanned the garage area when sound of engine being fired up made him turn. Before he could understand, Rolli zoomed out without giving a glance. Hemant understood, the Princess had decided to dodge her security. He shook his head, even she didn't wanted, it was his job. Pulling out his phone he dialed Sitara. ''Princess is out without security. Do you know where Agni is?'' he asked about Rolli's primary guard .

Sitara eyes moved to Agni, who stood at a distance talking to one of the other young guards, her temper flared. ''She is here, I will take care of things.''

Hemant decided to inform Ranvijay but got interrupted by another huffing guard. ''There are some unwanted men in the vicinity, we should alert the family.'' Hemant's eyes went wide, it sounded like a trap. Someone was keeping an eye on them. ''Go and inform Hukum, I have to follow the Princess.''

Sitara went alert on Hemant's message, glaring once at Agni she warned.  ''I will handle you later. For now, come with me.''

Sona stared at her appearance, twitching her lips she felt she wasn't looking glamours enough. She pulled her skirt a little lower, exposing the belly button. She then pulled her top neck a little harder to expose the skin a little more. Feeling satisfied,  she decided to show herself off to Vikram.

Vikram went through the files, he had been trying to understand the terms and conditions but his mind was on his wife who went about making funny sounds moving from one corner to another. He felt distracted, curious about what was Sona up to. His stint of curiosity ended when Sona stepped into the study with a pout. She stood against the wall, leaning against it , her hip angled seductively.  Vikram gave her a glance before going back to his papers, he pressed his lips to hide his smile. She appeared  cute trying so hard to look seductive.

Sona straightened her form, took a step forward; her feet twisted. Though she quickly balanced her body but Vikram didn't miss that. He cleared his throat to hide his smile, he didn't wanted to offend Sona who had taken so much effort for him.

Sona stood opposite to Vikram, flipping her hair back she moved her stole aside to give Vikram a glance of her. He still pretended to look unaffected. Sona made a face, snatched his file and plonked onto his lap.

''I am working Sona.''

''And I worked real hard to look like this. I don't care how important those papers are, I want your attention and you are going to give me that, now.''

Vikram smiled; he moved her hair to the front brushing his fingers on her exposed back. Sona shivered making him smile. ''You look so different when you smile Vikram.''

''What different?''

''Good different! I like this Vikram than the one who get's angry.'' Vikram caressed her face, he knew what she meant. His angry form was nothing like a devil and he had promised himself and his mother that he would never show Sona his other side and will love her for life. ''Am I not beautiful enough that you keeping getting distracted.''

Vikram chuckled. ''You are the most beautiful woman in the world. I have eyes only for you. You don't have to dress up differently for me. I love and will love you the way you are.'' Sona smiled, leaning closer she pecked his lips. Placing her head on his shoulder she closed her eyes; sinking into the emotion. Her lips trailed over his neck; Vikram's throat wobbled. As his lips descended on hers, his wire line echoed the suite.

''Yes.'' Vikram answered agitated. The message drained blood off his face. ''I will be there.''

''What's wrong?''

He rubbed his face, not sure how to part the news but she would know it eventually. ''Dev is injured.'' Sona froze. She staggered and Vikram held her. He couldn't utter more but for one last time he was going to be the one he had promised not to be.

Rolli moved from one stall to the other, the colors and excitement around her filled her with happiness. The liberation was amazing. She had a list of things to do with Dev, unaware that danger lurked around her.

Dev drove faster to reach her; on his way he got a call about Rolli being in danger. His guards requested him to return but he turned his phone off. Jumping off the vehicle, Dev ran towards the point he had promised to see his love.

A pair of eyes narrowed on Rathore Princess. ''Kill her at first chance. Don't give her any time, she is dangerous.'' He smirked. Today, he was going to avenge all his family.

Rolli smiled when her eyes fell on approaching Dev, but it changed into a frown reading his expressions. ''Rolli Move.'' She looked confused, Dev watched in horror as man with a knife lunged at her from behind. Throwing her arms around her, she twirled her around taking the attack on him. Before he could understand, the crowded erupted in screamed  and Dev was attacked by his allies. ''Dev, let me go I can fight.'' Rolli pleaded, locked in his arms. He didn't, his eyes just bore into hers as blood oozed from his wounds. Rolli's heart thudded, he was losing his consciousness. He was ready to give his life to keep her safe.

''Dev is here.'' The man whispered on the Bluetooth.''

''Kill him and all is ours.'' Came the other voice. Rolli struggled to be free as she watched the man charge to kill Dev.

Hemant's fingers twisted the man's wrist as his other arm pressed her throat. Dev fell on the earth as Rolli loomed over him crying inconsolably. The sound of footsteps made the Princess look up, and when she met that of her Father's she broke down.

''Tell me to kill him Hukum.''

''Keep him alive Hemant, and intact. It will be fun watching him and others wither in pain.'' Turning to his daughter, he pulled her up. ''Take Dev back to Palace. He needs a doctor.''

***

Ananya watched as Dipika rocked front and back waiting for the doctors to step out. She didn't had the strength to console her friend and her daughter. Feeling frustrated, she stepped out to see her husband to come face to face with Hemant. ''Where is he?''

''Dungeon.'' She nodded but halted at Hemant's call. ''I have no right Hukum, but I saw what he did for our Princess. No one will love her the way he does.'' Ananya looked straight into Hemant's eyes . He had sided her going against Ranvijay a number of times, he had loved her kids more than his own.

''Don't you ever say that you don't have the right.'' He nodded watching the proud Queen walk away. He knew this last time someone dared to hurt the Royals.

Ananya stepped into the dark damp room glaring at the man lying on the floor. He husband sat on a high chair opposite to the injured man, his face blank. ''What are you waiting for?'' She asked

His eyes moved to her and the to the small entrance behind her. Ananya's eyes moved; Vikram stepped in dragging a lifeless body behind him. He threw the body next to the culprit. Ranvijay smirked, stepping down his throne he squatted next to the man. ''Did you know whom you tried to touch?''

''Atleast...he dies.'' That earned him a punch, he coughed blood. Ranvijay wiped his knuckles on his victim. ''No one dies but you and your family. This time, I will do it myself.''

Ananya circled the lifeless body. ''She is...''

''Mahendra Singh's mistress. I killed one of her sons and she attacks with another.'' Vikram briefed.

''Did you hit her?'' She asked. Vikram stayed quite, Ananya had taught him not to hurt women; but he wasn't guilty. Lifting his eyes he replied ''I did and I don't regret. And an enemy has no gender.''

Ananya smirked. ''Make her regret it, I know you would.'' The woman groaned, blinked and met Ananya's eyes. ''Vicky, she loved Mahendra's singh, show her his other side. She squeezed Vikram's shoulder before walking away. The screams behind her faded as she walked away. SHe knew, Ranvijay wasn't going to make it easy. It had been years since world saw the real him and now it was time they saw his most dangerous side.

Ananya made her way back to the suite where Dev was being treated. She smiled watching Sona and Dipika reprimanding Dev, her eyes fixed on the young boy. As if he felt her, his eyes turned. He lips moved but she lifted her palm. ''Later, you need to recover.''

Next- ''She is my grandson, this is all your dra....'' Vsudha's voice died as Ananya's finger curled around her neck. ''Bless your daughter for your life and now Dev is ours.''
