Chapter 14: Unexpected Guests

[This is a crossover. I do not own all the characters, the new ones are from The Blustering Gate, by AlexanderScarstone. I suggest reading his book, so you know who his characters are. Remember, this is a CROSSOVER!!!!!!!! And get ready for 4th wall breaking XD]

Talia's Pov

A crack rings through the air, followed by stifled grunts and complaints. I turn around and see a portal, a bunch of people on the forest floor, and I almost scream. Before I can, a hand covers my mouth and I'm held face first against a wall with my arms pinned behind my back, my left cheek against the cold bricks. I growl lowly, my eyes turning an icy blue, and I slightly touch my left index finger to the wrist of the person restraining me. I use my magic and freeze their hand, they let me go and I hit them in the face by throwing my head back, then I proceed to knee them, throw them into the wall, and freeze the rest of their arm.

"Talia, stop," Jason says, I look to him and see a girl with blue ribbons in her hair holding him down. My left eye stays icy blue and my right one turns a fiery red.

I whirl around and catch a card before it could hit me. "Who the fuck throws cards at people?!" I yell, throwing it back.

"How the fuck did she catch and throw it?!" A girl with red hair exclaims, snatching, what was obviously, her card out of the air and glancing at it with a dumbfounded expression. "Who the fuck are you!"

"I'm Talia Fireheart, Alpha Female of the Blood Moon pack, and the princess of the Kingdom of Magic on another world," I say, throwing a fireball at the redhead. She actually sounds and looks, a lot like me.

She catches it, tosses and catches it a bit, then throws the fireball back at me.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!"

"Oh yeah? Well, I'm Ashley Fireheart, one of the members of Natalie's squad." She says, cocking her head at Jason and a guy who looks exactly like him. "And why do they look like twins?"

"Jason, can you come here please?" Both of them look at me.

"Which Jason?" They ask in unison.

"My Jason..." I reply, confusion in my voice. Two Jasons?!

"CROSSOVER!!!!!! YAY!!!!!" A little girl in a pale blue dress yells, almost making my ears burst. Why is she so loud?! "I'm loud because I can be, Fireheart 2.0."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not 'Fireheart 2.0,' I'm the Fireheart. And I didn't say shit about you being loud, pipsqueak."

"'Pipsqueak'?! Bitch, I'm the chick who reads these books! I know all your travels, fights, lustful thoughts about Alpha Jason and your fucking past! I know that your parents, your fake parents, hated you because you weren't normal like they thought you were when they kidnapped you!" She yells, throwing a sandwich at me. Wheres that ham and cheese? "Yes, it was ham and cheese!"

"Um, why did you say that?" A guy, who looks a lot like Alex, asks the girl. I could feel my magic wanting to be let loose, ice almost spreading across the floor, and tears threatening to spill.

"AND I KNOW THAT YOUR REAL MOM NEVER CARED AB--"

"SHUT UP!" I scream, my voice cracking and tears rolling down my cheeks, the right one evaporating and the left one freezing. I run out of the office, down the stairs, and out the back door.

I keep running, shifting into my wolf form mid-step once I reach the forest, and I don't look back. That little girl is meaner than I thought, and how does she know about my past? Why are there two Jasons and a girl who looks almost identical to me? I hear wings flapping behind me, two sets of them, one much larger than the other. I keep running though, I can't let anyone see me like this. I can't be seen as weak around anyone, I'm an Alpha female for God's sake!

I keep running until I get to the meadow I walked to from the witch village, some of the trees are still iced over from when I had frozen half the forest to save it from that fire. I still don't know how a fire had started in this forest, I thought it was protected by magic. Guess I was wrong...

I shift back to my human form, grabbing a backpack, that was left there by Jason for when one of us needed to run. I open the backpack and take out short shorts, a tank top, and other needed items of clothing. I put them on and walk to the middle of the field, laying down on my back and just staring up at the darkening sky. Is it really getting that late?

Jason's Pov

"You little..!" I say through clenched teeth, a low growl emitting from my chest. She did not just tell everyone what's happened in Talia's life!

Another portal opened with a crack, and a girl in a pale blue dress walks through, a ham and cheese sandwich in hand. She looks at the other pale blue dress girl and cocks her head to the side a bit.

"Who is that bitch?" She asks, taking a bite from her sandwich. Flipping her hair in a sassy way, she adds, "Oh, and, whoever you are, I pull off that look way better!"

"Looks like the real June is here. Guess I should go and torment that little wolf again, maybe I should pretend to be her mate, or maybe herself? I like having her red hair and pale skin and dark blue eyes..." Pale dress one says, but a few seconds later she sheds her girly appearance and forms into a tall, dark, and handsome figure. "Much, much better."

Wait...why handsome?

"Why not?" said the girl in the pale dress. How does she know what I'm thinking? "It's a crossover. I'm in it. I can read all this. Don't ask."

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?"

"I know, I'm amazing."

"Sorry, my mate is better."

"Better at certain stuff~", The redhead says, winking at the other me. Did I just watch myself blush? What is going on?

"It's a crossover like I said! And that dude, obviously, is the villain here, and he broke your girlfriend's heart." The little girl says, "My names June. It most certainly ain't, 'the little girl.' Wow, I never say things like that. Must be a different writer."

[June! It is a different writer! Shush!]

"I will not be shushed!" June exclaims, looking at the ceiling. This girl is strange...

June skips out of the room, and the people who came out of the portal before her stayed behind. Two of them look exactly like me and Talia, one looks just like Alexander, and then the other guys look familiar, I don't know how or why they do. Are they from a different dimension or something?

"I'm Natalie." One of the people says, stepping forward and offering a handshake. I shake her hand and look at the people behind her, "the people behind me are my squad. There's Ashley, the original Fireheart, Jason, your twin, Alexander, scythe boy, Grayson, who flew after Fireheart 2.0, Iridessa, our plant bitch, Iris, the one with daggers, June, the weird one, and Rori, aka Mrs. Robin Hood."

"We are not you're 'squad!'" Ashley yelled. She's sorta like Talia...

"I'm sorry, but Talia is the original Fireheart since she and I are from a medieval time period and all that," I tell them, earning a glare from Ashley. She shuffles a deck of cards, mumbling something under her breath. "That ginger looks like Talia, but she ain't as old as my mate."

"I am NOT a ginger!" She yells, a low growl emanates from the other Jason as she scowls, pulling a card from her deck. She throws it at me, but before it could hit, I dodged.

She keeps trying to throw a card at me, but I keep dodging like I'm MLG Pro.

[And June vanished...where did that little chica go!]

June pops up from behind my desk, a scroll in hand. "I'm right here!" she shouts at nobody. "Also, I found a legend!" She yells, holding it up.

[June! You shouldn't have that! Put it back]

"You can't make me! Besides, this is needed to progress things a little faster. My father's plans have changed." June says, waving the scroll around. Who is she talking to?!

[Whatever, just don't let the characters know about what may happen to Talia.]

"Like I was gonna do that. Anyways! wait...WHERE'S MY HAM CHEESE SANDWICH?!" June yells, looking around, only to find that it's gone and all that's left of her sandwich is a bunch of crumbs. "My sandwich..."

"You going to tell us what that scroll is all about? Or should we go get new Jason's girl?" Rori, or Mrs. Robin Hood, says, her hands on her hips as she glances out the window.

"I'll get her!" Alexander and Grayson both say, looking at each other.

"Oh boy, this is weird. Two Alexanders! Which one could the writer mean?" June asks, a little sarcastic.

[I mean the Alexander that didn't come out of the portal, June.]

Alexander and Grayson both head out, pushing past each other and yelling inappropriate words at each other.

I look at the man, the same man that Talia had injured earlier with a mix of a fireball and an icicle. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to injure him so easily. I watch as he disappears in a puff of black smoke, but I feel like he'll be back soon. And with someone much more dangerous than the group before me.

June gives the scroll to Natalie, who opens it and her eyes go wide. The others crowd around her, wondering what could be written on something so simple, but I go over to the window and watch as a dragon and a dude with wings fly off, one pair larger than the other, in the direction Talia ran in. I turn back to the group of people, looking at each of them, and they just look at me, then at Natalie.

Natalie says something to the other Jason and he disperses into the shadows. The other Alexander takes Ashley, Iris, and Iridessa into the hallway to talk about something. I'm left with Natalie, June, and Iris to tell me what's going on and why they came here. I look at Natalie expectantly, and she just sighs, taking a seat in my chair. I clear my throat, trying to get her to get the message that she was in my seat. Natalie only rolled her eyes and started planning for taking something down with the ones who haven't left. I go to my couch and lay down, draping my left arm over my face, and just listening to what they have to say.

June sat on nothing, grinning. "So. Crossover. Lovely. And we have different versions of... well, of us. Oh, dear. I hope there's not another me. I think that might be a bit much to handle."

Natalie smirked. "Lord knows one of you has damn near driven us mad, anyway. Now, to the point. We came here because our enemies fled the worlds. June thought this world would be the most likely destination. Why?"

"Oh, that'd be because of the darkness."

"The...darkness?"

"Yep. It's the most likely thing my father would ally himself with. It's also plagued Talia and Jason quite a bit. They have had...how many encounters with the thing now, Jason?" she asked, turning to me.

"Only one. Talia had injured the dude with a mix of a fireball and an icicle." I reply, sitting up.

June nodded thoughtfully. "So it's weakened when faced with combined elements?"

"Only fire and ice though, kid."

"One, don't call me kid. Two, I think you're wrong. It's not the elements at all. It's Talia."

Natalie glanced over. "Talia? The one who ran out. And the darkness...okay hold on. This bitch needs a name. I refuse to say darkness so many times. Jason!" she snaps, glaring at me. "Your world. You name it."

"I'm calling it Dorian," I say with a slight chuckle.

"Dorian," Natalie said, obviously holding in a chuckle.

It was Iris who broke, falling down in peals of laughter.

I look at her, confused. "What's so funny?"

June rolled her eyes. "There's someone back home named that, and he's a dick. Not evil. Just an asshole. Anyway. My father should propose an alliance with Dorian soon if he hasn't already. We thwarted his plans on the Wind Plane and the other planes. He fled here after we almost beat him. So he needs time to recover his strength and new allies. Apparently, Dorian is the strongest one he could find."

"Dorian's been alive for hundreds of years."

"He likes them ancient."

"And, throughout his life, he's gained the power and souls from all the ones like Talia. There's a whole legend or story about it! Alex told me and Talia earlier, right before Dorian came and Talia attacked him." I tell them, earning some head nods. I continue, "and, as far as we know, Talia has to be the one to defeat him, to fulfill this prophecy thing that then affects the life of a potential child of ours."

I hear footsteps coming up the stairs and go to see who's coming, when I look out the door I see my mate and Grayson and Alex coming. I'm guessing they had to convince her to come, or Talia would've burned or freeze one of them. Her magic and emotions are so tightly knit together that you never know what she can do when angered or saddened.

I glance over at Ashley, only to see her on the other Jason's lap, and then I notice Natalie, Iris, and June have vanished. Where the hell did they go?! I feel arms wrap around my torso and a tear-soaked face against my back, I place my hands on her's and let her lean on me. After a couple minutes, I turn around and hug Talia, letting her just keep a tight hold on me while I comfort her. Dorian really did a number on her emotional state, and I'm pretty sure she won't believe June.

"Okay, so Dorian's only weakness is Talia and it's because she's meant to fulfill this prophecy?" Natalie says, looking over at everyone. She appeared again?!

June glanced up. "So it's weak against Talia? I wonder if Ash could wound it as well since they are quite similar...." she mused.

"That is possible since they are basically the same person. The same with both Jasons, and Alexander, Grayson, and I," Alex says, sitting down on my desk.

These people have literally no regard for my property.

June snickered. "Nope. Absolutely none," she laughed.

"How the hell does she keep answering the questions I ask myself?!" I exclaimed, almost dragging Talia to the couch. I sit next to the other Jason and put Talia in my lap, she looks at Ashley and they smile at each other, snuggling into us guys. I note that the other Jason still looks a little shy about it, though. Must have been a more recent thing, unlike me and Talia.

"Aw, look at the two sets of IDENTICAL lovebirds!" Natira exclaimed from the doorway.

Iris whirled to face the new voice, and the two girls sized each other up. I swear, it's like they're debating if they should fight each other or not.

"They are," a voice whispered in my ear. I yelped and looked to see June perched on the arm of the couch with her usual sly grin. WHAT IS UP WITH THIS GIRL?!!??!?!!?!?!?!!?

"I'm special. Duh."

I wasn't even going to bother to try and figure it out anymore. Iris appeared satisfied with Natira, and now Natalie and Natira were doing the same thing. June munched popcorn in a corner. Wait...where the fuck did she get that?

"Oh, I picked it up on my way in. It was hidden in the sandwich. Sandwiches make convenient hiding spots."

"Will you just shut up, child?!" Talia snapped, her eyes squeezed shut and her hands covering her ears.

June immediately sobered. "Hey. That wasn't me. I know you won't believe me for a while, but I swear to you I would never blurt out somebody's secrets like that. Promise."

"Well, I don't fookin' care! Just shut up! I'm tryin' ta sleep!" With that, my mate buries her face into my shoulder and whimpers a bit. I pull her closer and I know she smiles.

A few minutes pass with just Natalie planning how they'll deal with June's dad.

After a while, I got bored. "So how do we fit in all this?" I asked loudly, to remind them that this was my house, goddammit.

"I just wanna sleeeeeep!" Talia groaned, some ice forming around everyone's mouth but mine. June rolled her eyes.

"Well, we can go to our room, Tal?" I ask, using our mind link, and sitting up more. She nods her head and then we're off to our room.

"Have fun you two~"

[June! Leave your comments to yourself!]

"Nah. More fun too speech."

Iris glanced at her. "Who are you talking to?"

"Fun people. Get used to it. Apparently, this writer likes to talk. Neato."

[Well, I like being part of my books with my characters at times. Let's shush and get on with it, okay?]

"Yeah, Jas and Tal are certainly getting it on, aren't they?"

[Hey everyone! I really hope y'all are enjoyin' this book so far! There are only a few chapters left, and then I'll be onto book two (which I'm already writing), so please don't forget to follow me if you want to be able to read book two once book one is done! Thank you!]
