{Previously: Alexander is found by members of the wolf pack, then breaks out of the dungeon Jason had him be put in. Talia regained her memories of her time with Jason, and visa versa for Jason. Alexander shifted into a dragon after escaping from the dungeon.}

Talia's POV

A mix of scents invade my nose. I feel someone holding onto me, their strong arms wrapped around my waist. I open my eyes and glance up, meeting Jason's gaze. His hazel eyes have a bit of yellow near the pupils. We stare at each other for a moment, then it starts to get awkward and I look away. I blink a few times, my head throbs a little, and I just...I don't know. I don't know how I feel right now. I'm happy that I found Jason, that we can be together without incident, but what about everyone else I know? That winged guard at the castle, the tavern owner, and my family? Will my family miss me? If not, then why wouldn't they? I take a deep breath and let it out as I snuggle closer to Jason and his warmth.

"How are you feeling?" He asks me, nuzzling his face into the side of my neck.

"My head hurts a little, I guess." I answer, leaning my head back against his shoulder. He had me in his lap, his chest to my back. I glance up at the tree branches above us, rays of sunlight poking through the leaves. I take a deep breath and breathed it out.

"I think we need head to the pack doctor, something's wrong...with both of us." Jason muttered, standing up and helped me onto my feet. Holding my hand, Jason leads both us out of the forest and to the pack house.

Millions of scents, each of them a different combination, and one scent is the strongest: the one that belongs to Jason. I shake my head, trying to ignore it. We make it to the medical wing and the throbbing in my head gets worse and I cough a little from the strong smell of bleach. Jason noticed this and gave me a worried look, I weakly smile at him and coughed again, the smell burning my nose. How can wolves, with their heightened senses, stand this?

We make it to a check up room, the smell less of a bother, and Jason leaves me in there while he gets the pack doctor. Seconds turn to minutes, which seemed like forever, until Jason returned with a young blonde girl. I saw her lab coat and she wore a stethoscope around her neck, so I assume she's the pack doctor.

"Talia Fireheart?" She asks, looking at a piece of paper in her hand.

"Mhm." I hummed as a reply.

"I'm Faune Valle, the pack doctor. Before you ask, I am a wolf." Faune says, setting down the piece of paper on the desk that's against the wall. I glance at Jason and he has this worried look on his face. "Could you tell me what's bothering you? Please don't leave out."

"My head's been throbbing for a while, and I think my sense of smell has improved a lot." I admit. I cough again, this time I feel something dripping down from my nose, when I wipe at it, I see a little bit of blood.

"Any body aches?" Faune asks, a worried look on her face, much like the one on Jason's. I take a moment to think before I reply, I just shake my head. "Well, I think you're actually in the first stage of becoming a wolf like us, Talia. It has happened before, a millennium ago, so a girl who was in the same predicament as you. I could tell you the story, if you wish."

"Faune, can you please tell the story?" I ask, getting comfortable in the chair I was sitting in.

"Well, there was once this girl who came to our world in search for her loved one, who came here to escape what was awaiting him in their world. The price for coming to our world is losing your memories of your loved one who came with you, or before you, but there is a way to prevent that. Anyways, this girl lost her memories of her lover, she did find him in this very pack though, and he was the Alpha. Once she found him, he had her chained and placed in the dungeon, but she soon unlocked her, and his, memories. By doing so, she also unlocked something within herself, which turned out to be a creature, a wolf. With this, and the power she already held, her and the Alpha made our pack the strongest in this world, until they were both defeated by the darkness. This darkness is known to chase and destroy the next Luna Queen, which will be you, as the prophecy has foretold." Faune says, looking only at me as she tells the story. "The darkness was once created by the Witch Queen, so that a wolf with magic wouldn't live long, and once you see this darkness, it is over for you and your king.

"No one has lived to tell the tale after seeing this darkness, it kills all that see it, and I fear we may lose our Alpha and Luna yet again. The Witch Queen has been dead since the darkness was made, for it had taken her life in payment for its life, and there is only one way to stop this darkness: you must have a Witch Queen dispell it from our world, and the other worlds. I am sorry you were thrown into this, Talia, but everything good does come to an end, unless that end never comes and it rarely doesn't." Faune looks away from me and to Jason, who has been keeping an eye out for any of the guards, or any of the wolves, that could be around.

"When will I..." I pause for a moment, thinking of the right word to use, "shift?"

"In due time, dear. In due time. For now, I suggest that you stay by Jason's side, and you will soon go into heat, which will make the other male wolves be all over you, since you haven't mated yet." Faune says, winking at me. I blush at that statement, not making eye contact with anyone now.

I stand up and head for the door, after saying "goodbye" to Faune. She's a nice person, and its obvious she knows what she's doing as the pack doctor. I walk down the hall with Jason on my tail, his scent keeps getting more and more delicious. Wait...delicious?! What the hell, Talia!

I shake my head, trying to block out several images that suddenly come to mind. I seriously shouldn't be thinking that kind of stuff!

Jason takes my hand when we enter the forest, making my cheeks heat up. We walk through the forest, going around locks and rocks, until we reach a beautiful lake. I see deer, bears, raccoons, and other forest animals drinking from the water's edge. The sun hits the surface of the water at the right angle and it seems like it all just lights up. I just stare at awe at the view, until I'm brought back down to Earth by a move next to me. I turn my head in that direction and see Jason dropping his shirt down to the ground next to him. He grabs my hand again and pulls me to the water, then he does something that I should have suspected: he throws me in!

I feel water freeze and boil, my magic no longer under control for a moment. I hear Jason laugh for a second until he realizes that I'm not coming back up. I take a moment to regain control of my magic, making the water unfreeze and stop boiling, then I resurface. I smirk at Jason, and he starts trying to run away from me, but I freeze the water around his feet and make the water in the air around him warm up slowly.

"I'm sorry! Im sorry!" He says, starting to sweat and his feet starting to freeze. I giggle for a moment before releasing him and letting the air cool down. He falls face first into the water in front of him and I burst out laughing.

Then an immense pain erupts in my lower stomach, making me collapse into the water. Almost immediately, the water that is surrounding me starts to boil and I can't stop it. I try to freeze the water, but it doesn't,work and I start to feel like I'm being cooked alive. I manage to somewhat sit up and I see that Jason is trying to pick me up, but the water keeps on making his arms burn, luckily, he heals fast thanks to his wolf helping. I suddenly scream out in pain, thanks tomy lower stomach and the boiling water burning my skin. I close my eyes and grit my teeth as another scream of pain forms in my throat, but the burning sensation stops and its just my lower stomach hurting now. It starts to die down, I feel warm arms carrying me and a warm chest that my head's leaning on. I whimper as I unclench my teeth, I know it's jason that is carrying me.

Jason's scent is overwhelming, to some extent, but his touch and scent help lower the pain until I feel him let go of me when I'm on, what it feels like to be, a bed. Then the pain gets worse and I curl up into a ball.

"Shit, this isn't good. All the unmated males are gonna try to get her and I can't do shit about it!" I hear Jason yell, then something breaks. I don't know what broke, I don't roll over because of the pain.

"C-can...can you..." I try to talk, stuttering slightly from the pain. I think Jason got the message because he crawls into the bed next to me and places his arms around my body. The pain starts to numb again, and I fall asleep.

"You can run, but you can't hide, I will never stop hunting you." A voice said, somewhere in the darkness. I look in the direction of the voice, only to see a dark figure stalking towards me.

"Leave me alone!" A feminine voice commands from behind me. I turn around and see myself, and she then shifts into a pure white wolf. I hear the dark figure laugh, then the wolf growl.

I wake up with a start, a cold sweat covering me as well as the scent of Jason. Something in my head purs at his scent, and it totally weirds me out.
