It's been a very long time since both you and the two lads haven't talked nor interacted much with one another. All of you were busy rehabilitating yourselves whilst focusing more on schoolwork, especially since school is almost ending.

You're currently walking down the hallway while carrying a huge box filled with lots of things, which doesn't give much space for you to see what's in front of you, to be brought to your next subject for a school activity.

As you walked down, you suddenly bumped into someone. The both of you almost lost your balance but luckily, no one fell.

"I'm sorry," You quickly apologized as you quickly regained your posture, moving your head to the side to see who you bumped into.

"O-Oh, Taehyung..." You added, quite surprised by his presence.

"It's fine. You okay?" He asked, seeming a little worried.

"Yes, I'm alright..." You answered as you let out a faint nervous laugh.

"I see," He plainly replied.

"Well, I'll be on my way then. Bye!" You said, breaking off the almost awkward silence along with a quick smile and went on your way.

"Yah..."

You suddenly stopped as you heard Taehyung calling your attention.

"Um, could you tell me already what it is 'cause I am in a hurry you know," You stated, a little annoyed.

"Don't act like as if we're strangers though," He said as you could hear his footsteps slowly going towards you.

"What do you mea-"

Before you could finish your sentence, you felt an embrace from behind.

"I miss you."

Your face suddenly flushed as your heart beat fast, your mind almost going blank.

"Well, you better hurry like you said. You got your next class coming up, right?" He assured as he lightly hit the back of your head with the back of his fist, saying it in a mischievous way along with a teasing smile.

"I-I know that!" You retorted, quickly coming back to your senses and immediately walked ahead.

"Alright, class. So for this last homeroom period for today is going to be mostly focused on announcements and other important matters..." The teacher stated as she's about to start her oration.

"First, I'd like to ask on how is everyone doing today?" She questioned, and in response, most students would just answer random answers in a bored tone while others don't even have the energy to do so.

"Okay, um, I see that everyone seems exhausted from all the school activities happening this year..." She remarked as she let out a faint chuckle.

"Anyway, another important thing that I would like to remind the class..." She paused, giving a moment of suspense while students just don't really care about it.

"...is your upcoming prom that's going to happen this week."

Your mind suddenly stopped for a bit after hearing it. You just only remembered it now.

Bruh...this is the royal gown and suit competition that's suppose to happen ages ago but was put on halt due to 'some reasonable circumstances'. But I didn't know that it'll happen this week, and even making it a part of the prom event!

(A/N: Definitely not forgotten that part *ehem* Chapter 11 *ehem* totally not forgotten at all *wink wonk*)

"Do you all still remember our representatives for the upcoming event?"

The teacher questioned as she and all of your other classmates started looking at you and Taehyung, making the both of you feel uncomfortable from all of their staring.

You then looked beside you to see Jungkook who just low-key rolled his eyes from the situation.

"Well, the best of luck to you two! Before you all leave, don't forget to have your rest and look your best for prom!" And with her final announcement, the class was finally dismissed.

"Yah, ____..." Taehyung called as he stood up and finished clearing up his table.

(A/N: Remember, Taehyung's seat is behind yours, while Jungkook is beside you)

"What?" You asked as you were still busy fixing your stuff while in a standing position.

"I still got other things to finish here so I sadly have to leave right away," He answered.

"And what does that have to do with me, anyway?" You questioned, confused on what he's talking about.

"'Cause you won't be able to see me again, dumbass," He replied.

"Uh, we weren't able to talk that much for the past weeks..." You muttered as you mentally face palm yourself.

"Nah, I just got nothing to say..." He responded, then paused for a bit.

"I just wanted to talk to you for a bit," He added as he ruffled the top of your head for a few seconds, which made you surprised by his action.

"See you tomorrow then," Taehyung said as he did a quick wave with his hand and flashed his square grin smile.

Geez, why is he making me feel all giddy today...

Taehyung had then already left the classroom since he has other club activities to do, which leaves you and Jungkook the only ones left in the classroom.

"i jUsT wAnTeD tO tAlK tO yOu FoR a biT."

You could then noticed Jungkook faintly mocking his brother's words while almost finishing cleaning up his things on his table.

"You really don't have to do that, genius," You stated, hinting sarcasm at the end.

"Right, while seeing Taehyung-hyung acting all sweet and cringey right in front of my eyes," Jungkook replied, now standing up from his seat with his things already cleared up.

"Whatever makes you happy, I guess..." You said as you were too tired to even bother with it.

"And do you know what makes me happy?" He questioned as he moves his face near yours, looking into your eyes with a smug smile on his face.

With his and your face close to each other, your cheeks started to heat up.

"Oh, why are you blushing?" He asked, letting out a teasing chuckle while you couldn't say a word.

"Well, I can already see what makes me happy right now." He said as he stood properly again and gave you a pat on the head along with a grin on his face.

After that, he soon left the classroom.

"These two morons..." You muttered as you held your cheek that's now blushing too much.

Taehyung finally went back home after a long day of finishing his tasks at school. As he was finally done going up the stairs, he saw his younger brother at the hallway.

When they encountered each other, Jungkook stopped both of their tracks as he showed up the envelope to Taehyung.

"It's for you, given by someone important to you..." Jungkook said as he was talking about the envelope itself.

"You may not know, but my mother went all the way and all that trouble just to give you that," Jungkook mentioned, pausing for a bit.

"I don't know much about you despite being us being brothers, but I think that envelope will clear things up. hopefully." He continued, somehow giving a hint of care to his older brother.

As Jungkook was about to leave,

"I'm sorry. For not being a good brother to you..."

Jungkook stopped for a moment, surprised by what Taehyung had said to him who now went back to his room.

He looked at his older brother for a bit, then soon went ahead on his way.

Taehyung arrived at his bedroom and sat down on the side of his bed. He then brought out the envelope, staring at it for a moment. After that, he opened it and took out a piece of paper. He set aside the envelope and unfolded the paper to see writings on it.

Surprised and now being curious, he began reading it.

To my dearest little one,

His heart began to skip a beat, as he felt something déjà vu.

How are you, hun? Did you eat and sleep well? I hope you're fully alright and well. You might be quite surprised upon reading this, since you don't really know who would write and give this letter to you at this time. But I guess, this could somewhat answer almost all of your unanswered thoughts about me.

He started to become nervous as he continued reading it.

Ever since you came into this world, or when you first existed in my belly, you have given me a new kind of feeling that I've never experienced before. A new kind of love where I'd cherish you and care for so much than anything in this world. You gave me a new meaning of love that I'll never ever forget.

I'd love to see you and be involved with you saying your first word, being able to crawl, take your first baby steps, and all sorts of family things. When you're now able to go on your first day of school, I would excitingly bring you there and say words of encouragement before making you go to the entrance.

But look at you now, you have now grown into a nice and fine young gentleman/lady. You now have your own qualities, your own thoughts and decisions, and also your own merits and achievements. With that, I am really proud to have you as a part of my own.

He was now stunned, being able to discover things he never knew.

I'm sorry if I wasn't able to be with you as you grow up. I wasn't strong enough to keep up with my condition to maintain my life, but I'm strong enough and willing to bring you into this world.

Because that is how much I love you.

As he continue on reading, his eyes started to form a few tears.

I may not have seen you yet with my very own eyes, but with you sleeping soundly and developing healthily inside my belly, I felt like I'm already staring at your cute little adorable face while holding you within my arms.

Tears started to appear more and more.

I'm not really sure if you'll be a boy or a girl, but either way, I will always love you no matter what.

When his eyes started to become blurry, he quickly wiped his tears away with his arm. After that, he proceeded reading.

Anyways, here are some words of guidance that I wanted to tell you once you become a fully grown adult.

Once you're a fully grown adult, you will live your own life. You will have happy times and sad ones. You will soon fall in love and also experience pain. Life may not always be fair and not always full of rainbows and unicorns, but I know you'll be able to understand and have the strength to endure and overcome those obstacles.

I hope you'll always know your own worth because of how amazingly precious you are! I also wish for you to be true to yourself always and that there is no one else like you. You don't have to change who you are for foolish reasons, and that you are amazingly wonderful just the way you are.

I presume you already have your goals and dreams that hopefully comes from your own passion. Pursuing and fulfilling your dreams is what makes me happier than you fulfilling things that doesn't make you happy.

Finally, I hope you'll not live your life too seriously. It's okay to have fun and take even just a little break. Don't worry too much about your flaws and mistakes because those are taken as lessons to learn from in life to become even better. You only live once, so enjoy it to the fullest.

Take care of yourself, okay? Don't stress yourself and to others too much. Always remember, that I'll always got your back. Even if I'm not with you or in this world physically and if you ever feel down, just think of my tangible presence here in the form of this letter.

When he's almost done reading the letter, he couldn't stop himself from crying.

Because he already knew from the start from who it belongs to.
