Emberley's POV:
What the hell did I do yesterday. I should have stood my ground but no I crumbled at the wonder of the King's charms.

What the hell is wrong with me.

I opened my eyes to see I was in a huge room. The down stairs of the cabin is smaller then this room. I fell into the soft mattress it is so bloody soft but what was I expecting I'm in the King's palace.

I turned my head to see a bare chest what the hell did I do last night. I went to move when an arm snaked round my waist.

"Where are you going my green eyed beauty?"

I looked up to see the King's piercing blue eyes staring back at me. Unlike everyone else in this town only the royal family have blue eyes everyone else is meant to have brown well everyone except me.

"Ember what's wrong you didn't answer me last night and now your trying to run away."

I was expecting him to yell or to snap at me but he didn't he calmly whispered to me his soothing words like I was the most precious creature in the world.

"I don't want to be another one of your conquests. I don't want to be a name on your playlist of girls, your married Riccardo."

Okay did I lie no. Okay yes I did just a little, yes this is one reason but the main thing that was troubling me was Tristan. What he has done is not right nor is it fair and I used to see him what the hell is wrong with me.

Why me? Why of all people do I have to attract the weird guys.

"Your not Ember, your something else and I already told you I don't love Caroline anymore."

I believed him up to the point about Caroline. They are close and I don't want to break up their marriage I didn't even know why I'm considering this.

"I want to go home Riccardo. I don't belong here. I'm the green eyed monster who stays in the cabin outside the town."

Riccardo sat up and anger was written on his face. He raised his hand and I shut my eyes waiting for him to squeeze my face like Tristan but nothing.

I opened my eyes to see Riccardo with a look of concern on his face as he gentle caressed my cheek.

"I'm not going to hurt you Emberley. No man can touch you but me. Your not a monster and your not safe in that cabin. Your staying with me were your safe."

I looked away as I remembered the night of the ball how the hell is the castle safer.

"The rebels got in here quite easily Riccardo!"

I spat coursing his eyes to widen and a small smirk to surface. Damn it keep your big mouth shut Emberley before you drop yourself in it.

"You are safe here, Emberley!"

He warned I guess he didn't like me arguing back or at least I think. He really looks concerned and dead serious with me staying here.

"What about your wife? Wait why were you in here with me and not her?"

Oh my god. Oh my god!

What the hell is going on? Why the hell was he in here?

Oh my God.

It was then I remembered that Riccardo is shirtless. Oh my god! He was strongly built his muscles were tight and wait am I checking him out why am I checking him out.

"Like what you see my green eyed beauty."

He teased and I felt my cheeks turn red as tomatoes, I was blushing like a school girl who's crush just spoke at her.

"Caroline and I sleep in separate rooms. So technically your in my bed."

I leaped out of the bed he planned this oh I wish I could kick him were the sun doesn't shine. He wants me to be his mistress well that's not happening.

"I'm not going to be your mistress Riccardo. I'm not going to be the carrier of your children. I won't be used and then have you and Caroline take my children away and say their your own!"

I snapped before running to the bathroom. I locked the door and took a very long shower I had to get any trace of Riccardo off my body.

As I took my shower I heard knocking but I just ignored it I wasn't in the mood to talk to him he's planning to play a game with me and he'll win I know he will so I'm going to keep my distance because he won't let me leave.

I mean he didn't give me a choice in coming here so there is no way in hell he'll let me leave.

I wrapped myself in a towel and walked out to find the room empty. There was a dress and a note lying on the bed. I took the note first.

'My Green Eyed Beauty,
You are not a game to me Ember. You are beautiful even through you might not see it. I told you I don't love me wife anymore and if I have to prove it to you I will. I have not asked you since that night of the ball to be my mistress and I won't. Will you give me a second chance please. Caroline is gone to see her parents for a few weeks so it will be just you and me. I'll be waiting for you to have breakfast I picked this dress for you to wear. Hope to see you at breakfast.

That's so sweet. Wait no I can't think this way he's playing me but some part of me wants to give him a chance. What the hell are you doing to me Riccardo you might be a king but you don't act like one.

I placed the note on the night stand and unzipped the dress bag. The dress was stunning it was like the dress I wore for the ball.

After getting dressed I made my way to breakfast I guess I should give Riccardo my answer.
