Sighing, you slowly take off your dirty clothes and fling them on the floor. Today has been a busy day for you. Running away from the Bowers gang. The teacher yelling at you. And failing a test. You almost leap into the shower, wanting the hot water to soothe your mind. You twist the knob and wait for the water to stream out of the shower head.

Nothing comes out and you furrow your eyebrows, very confused. You hit the wall and turn the knob even more to find still nothing coming out. Thinking for a moment, you unscrew the shower head and peer in the pipe, seeing if it's clogged.

You hear a little bit of rustling so you step back, not knowing what's going on but it's too late. Cockroaches pour out of the pipe, crawling all over you. Worms crawl out of the shower drain, squirming in between your toes.

A shriek escapes your lips and you fall back in the bathtub, breathing heavily. You start screaming and shake your hair, trying to get the bugs out of it. You shake your feet, flinging the pink worms all over the bathroom. No one in the house seems to hear your screams.

Trying to get up, but slipping again, beetles start crawling out of the sink. There seems to be an endless supply of your worst fear. You crawl out of the bathtub and grab a towel to see spiders crawling all over it. You look down at your clothes to see red ants all over your white shirt, making it seem red.

You start screaming again and run to the door, trying to open it but of course it's locked. Tears start falling down your eyes and you try to stay in a corner away from all the bugs.

"Y/n?" Eddie asks, opening the door to see you with mismatched clothes. Crazy hair and tears running down your eyes, "What the hell happened?"

You shake your head, biting your lip, trying to hold back the tears. He seems to understand and looks around.

"My mom isn't getting back until 7. Come in," he says, grabbing your hand and leading you to his couch. You shakily sit down next to Eddie and stare at the wall in front of you, "What happened (nickname)?"

"B-bugs," you stutter out, looking at him, "Everywhere."

He gives you a sympathetic look and hugs you, "I-I can grab some of my moms money and we can go grab ice cream?"

You shake your head, "No. I just want to stay here."

"Alright," Eddie whispers, fitting his tiny arms around you, "I'm here."
