[13] My World
All the sides thought they knew who the most romantic one was, and they'd be surprised to be told that they were wrong. Well, not wrong, per se, more slightly misguided, since the side who was typically the most romantic was just romantic for the heck of it, however, the true romantic was only ever romantic behind closed doors, and only to his boyfriend.
Ever since Patton and Roman started dating, Roman's romantic nature seemed to have fizzled out, due to it being overpowered by Patton's.
Since Patton was Thomas' emotions, he felt everything a lot stronger, love and romance included, which made it all the easier to be romantic to his boyfriend. He loved making roman flustered due to his silly comments, but it, at least, made him smile.

The first one to have found out about Patton's romantic tendencies was Virgil, who was pleasantly surprised. He'd walked into the kitchen, only to see Patton and Roman being rather intimate, and he'd cleared his throat to try and get to the fridge, which the two were blocking.
"It's a kitchen, not a bedroom." He muttered as he'd pushed past them, ignoring the obvious holes being stared into his head. He was more focused on getting something to eat than their idiot romantic selves.
"I suppose we'd best go to the bedroom then." Patton grinned, ignoring the obvious blush on Roman's cheeks, smiling cheekily as Virgil whirled around to face him.
"Do what you want, it's your relationship, but take it out of the kitchen."
"So I could take him to the commons and it'd be fine?" Patton grinned, "Or better yet, just to the other side of the doorframe?"
"Being literal is Logan's job! Why do I even try?" Virgil groaned, pushing his way past, not wanting to be the reason they began making out again. He was happy for them, but the way they were sometimes was nauseating because Virgil couldn't have it the way they did. He wanted the relationship they had.
As he walked out he overheard Patton talking to Roman, smiling as he realised he was wrong about Roman being the romantic one in the relationship.
"I love you, so much. You make me feel like I'm on top of the world, and I would want nothing more than to spend every day with you, where I wake up with you so you're the first person I see, and the last person I see before I fall asleep. You're my sun."
As he glanced around the corner, he saw Roman grinning and blushing profusely, and Virgil couldn't help but find it adorable, even if he envied them, they deserved happiness.

Logan found out not too long after. He hadn't meant to eavesdrop, but he couldn't help it, since they were right there, and he was passing by.
He smiled at the couple on the sofa, who were watching a film, and he noticed Patton leaning over, murmuring things to Roman, who would blush in response. His face usually ended up matching his sash.
Out of nowhere, Logan felt his heart lurch, and he realised how much he craved that kind of thing, and the more he thought about it, the more he realised how much he wanted it with Virgil.
He tried to shake the thoughts from his head, but in doing so, he stumbled over his feet, alerting Patton and Roman of his presence.
"You okay, kiddo?" Patton frowned, noticing how distant he seemed to be.
"I am adequate. Thank you, Patton." He smiled fondly and continued his walk to the kitchen, where he heard Patton talking to Roman.
"My Songbird, you truly are something spectacular, I can't begin to understand how I got so lucky to be with you, and I cannot wait for the day I get to call you my husband and have a mini us running around. I love you so much."
He smiled fondly to himself and made a mental note to talk to Virgil about the couple, and possibly bring up a romantic attraction between them.

Deceit was the last to find out, and he didn't really care about their love life, as long as Roman didn't hurt Patton, he didn't want anything to do with it.
He knocked on Patton's door, initially going to ask him a question, but when he saw the two of them cuddled on his bed, Roman half asleep, and Patton murmuring soothing things to him, he thought the question was best asked at a later date.
He smiled, and as he walked out, he heard Patton murmur something to Roman, and he smiled.
"My love, I will love you on your good days, on your bad days, and on the days you can't muster up enough self-love. I will love you until the day we are grey and old, and I cannot wait for you to see yourself the way I see you and love yourself just as much as I do."

Virgil and Logan were sat at the kitchen table, talking about anything and nothing, waiting for Roman to serve up breakfast. He claimed he was letting Patton sleep in, and that he deserved to have a day off every once in a while. As long as the food wasn't burnt, Logan and Virgil didn't care.
They watched with fond smiles as Patton walked in, and wrapped his arms around Roman's waist, pressing a kiss to the side of his head, smiling at his boyfriend.
"What's this for, Songbird?"
"To say thank you, for everything you do to keep me happy. I love you, and you deserve a break."
"Roman, face me?"
They moved away from the stove, letting Virgil take over before Roman faced him.
"I love you so much, that's why I do what I do. You don't need to thank me or repay me, or anything else. Roman, you're my boyfriend, and I'd do anything I could for you."
"I know, but I love you too, and I want to help."
Patton smiled and pressed a soft kiss to Roman's lips, holding him close. The kiss was only short, but it was enough.
"I love you, Songbird, and I will do everything in my power to keep you happy, you're my world."
Maybe they had the kind of relationship that was kind of sickening, and annoying to everyone else, but to them, it was perfect, and they couldn't ask for more.
