Part 44 Mission Royal Secret

Arnav pressed the gun on the man's head.

"For whom you want to kill me?" he shouted.

"For Sheetal..."

Arnav got stuck by the statement of the man. Sheetal? Is Sheetal behind the accident? But why? Was not she roaming behind him asking him to marry her?

"Whattttt? What did you say? Does Sheetal want to kill me?" Arnav asked shockingly.

"No... I didn't mean it... I want you to die for Sheetal..." the man said.

"I didn't get you. Say it clearly..." Arnav asked.

"Sheetal will marry me only if you die "

"Whaaat do you mean?"

"I love her..."

Arnav got the point. This man is in love with Sheetal. As she wanted to marry Arnav, she would have refused his proposal. That's why he wanted to kill Arnav.

"Do you want to kill me for someone who doesn't love you...?" Arnav asked unbelievably.

"No, she loved me... She loved me until she met you... She was happy with me until you entered her life..."

Arnav frowned.

"Were you guys in love?" Arnav asked.

"For more than two years..."

"How do you know Sheetal?"

"We studied in the same college. She was the one who proposed to me. I too liked her just like many guys did. She was always the center of attraction of our college. I was happy when she proposed to me. I started loving her truly, madly... She too loved me wholly but I sensed a difference in her behavior after her brother's wedding. She started avoiding me. I asked her the reason but she didn't give heed to answer me. After our college got over, she didn't even attend my call. Finally, she blocked my number. That's when I got to know she was in love with you. That's when I understood why she avoided me... I understood the reason for her changed behavior. I tried to reach her many times but I couldn't..."

Arnav was weary. He never thought there could be a reason like this. At last, Sheetal was the reason for everything... she cheated on this man who truly loved her. It seems Sheetal's love is not true... not for this man nor for Arnav. She was behind his money. That's why her mind changed when she met him.

"But, you should have gotten angry with Sheetal for cheating on you... why me?"

"Because of you, I got arrested one day. The police hit me like hell for eyeing ASR's fiancée"

"Whaaaat? ASR's fiancée?"

"Yes, they hit me while warning me not to eye on ASR's fiancée"

Arnav rolled his eyes. How cunningly Sheetal played with this man...! How could she use his name without his knowledge?

"You are right I should have gotten angry with Sheetal instead of you but I can't get angry with her because I love her very much. How could I hurt her?"

"You could have met me for once and told me about her..."

"I tried... that's why I got arrested. I was furious with you and wanted to remove you from my path. I started collecting all the details about you to kill you. I named the mission ROYAL SECRET. That's when I got to know you are going to Nainital for a conference. I went to Nainital searching for a local rowdy. I found Lallan and gave him money for spreading brake oil on your way. Hiring a costly car, I went to meet Lallan because I want him to think I'm a Rich man. So, you will think the accident should be plotted by one of your rivals if you caught Lallan."

Arnav sighed. Yes, that's what happened.

"I thought you are dead. So, I went to my village because I don't want to get caught plotting the accident. I just came back to Delhi two days ago. I got to know you are still alive and your marriage is going to happen. How could I let you marry Sheetal?"

"I'm not going to marry Sheetal. My fiancée is Khushi"

The man looked at him with confusion.

"I never liked Sheetal nor did I want to marry her," Arnav said.

The man looked at him unbelievably.

"Yes, it was Sheetal, who wanted to marry me. I evacuated her from my house recently because she tried to break my marriage"

"I... I can't believe this..."

"Yes, I'm going to marry none other than the doctor's daughter who saved my life and treated me in Nainital"

"Nainital?"

"Yes, I escaped from the car before my car fell into the valley... my fiancée's father saved my life. My fiancée Khushi is the only girl who I loved in my life"

Arnav nodded no.

Arnav didn't tell him that he was the one who made Sheetal consume the drug.

The man was distressed.

"I can't believe Sheetal stoop so low..." He said feeling upset.

"I have a video... if you don't believe"

He looked at him shockingly.

"I'm sorry... I misunderstood you. Thank God nothing happened to you..."

"Happened... my leg and hand got broken..."

"I'm sorry... I don't know what else other than sorry can be said"

Arnav so wanted to thank him for the accident. Just because of the accident, he met Khushi in Nainital but he didn't say anything. He didn't want him to feel happy for his mistakes.

"Do you really want a girl like Sheetal in your life? Do you think you can be happy with the woman who changes her mind accordingly?" Arnav asked.

"I didn't think anything other than her, sir. I was so blind in her love"

"What are you going to do now?"

"Are not you going to hand me over to the police?"

"If whatever you said is true, I won't..."

"But why?"

"It's because I don't want you to think whatever I said about Sheetal might be lie"

"My name is Rana Prathap, studied in AGC college. Computer Science is my major"

He removed his purse from his pant pocket and gave it to Arnav. Arnav looked at him without taking it from him.

"There is my Adhar card. You can check whether I'm lying or not"

Arnav took his purse and removed the card and gave his purse back.

"You will be in my custody until I get confirmation about the information"

Rana nodded ok. Arnav removed his shirt from his hand that he used to tie his hands. Both of them washed their faces. Arnav called Rohan. Rohan attended the call.

"Yes, ASR?"

"Do you know anyone in Ghaziabad?"

"Yeah... my friend is there"

"I want to safeguard a bike for a few days. Ask him to come to the Delhi Highway"

"Are you in Ghaziabad?"

"Yes... my friend's bike is here. Ask your friend to come here"

"Ok, he will be there in fifteen minutes"

"Ok... I will be waiting"

Rana was looking at Arnav who is trying to safeguard the bike that he didn't expect. As Rohan said, his friend reached Arnav within fifteen minutes, with his friend. They took the bike with them and Arnav started towards Delhi with Rana Prathap.
