“Rose!” Meghan said as her smile was bright as she pulled open the door to her Frogmore Cottage.

“Good afternoon, Meghan.” Rose smiled wide in return as she stepped inside the door and let Meghan close it behind her.

“How are you?" Meghan asked as she leaned in to kiss Rose’s cheeks in greeting.

“I'm great,” Rose answered. “Where’s Henry this morning?” She asked.

"Out with Charles and oh Kate is here." Meghan answered.

"Oh great." Rose said.

They walked outside and found Kate sitting at the table.

“So tell me, Rose,” Kate smiled across the small table at her. “How are you feeling? How are the baby?”

Rose couldn’t help the wide smile that spread across her face. “Well, the doctors say that the baby is really good so far.” Rose answered. "But, I really came over to show you guys this." She said as she placed the engagement ring on her finger before putting out her hand to show Meghan and Kate.

"Oh my God! Congratulations, When did he propose?" Meghan asked.

"Congratulations, it's beautiful." Kate said.

"Thank you, and two nights ago. We had a deep conversation about marriage and the reason why I was so against it. Then I said I'll marry you and before I could blink he was on one knee with a ring." Rose said.

“Do you think you’ll be able to wait until your pregnancy is over to announce?” Kate asked.

"Oh no, we're announcing it soon. We just don't know when though." Rose answered.

Pregnancy is a voyage of discovery for any woman, and hard on those used to controlling their weight - especially for their career.

But Princess Rose led the way today by embracing her new fulsome figure in a tight-fitting yellow jumper for an event in London.

The 31-year-old looked lovely in the bright shade, which complemented her cascading blonde curls - and donned a metallic necklace and boots with a pewter detail.

Rose said recently: 'You go through a period in your pregnancy of feeling fat. But I've been exercising and eating what I want in moderation.

'I have the same insecurities about my body that every girl has. I got pretty skinny when I was between 17 and 19.

'I regret it because I don't think I was happy then.'

Rose added recently she has been suffering pregnancy cravings in recent weeks, saying: 'I've always been a pepper belly but this is on a whole new level.

'The other thing I'm loving is chocolate milk. I'm not mixing the two. But I heard pregnant women mix some crazy stuff.'

The princess is expecting her first child with boyfriend Prince Thorbjørn and the pair are starting to get excited about welcoming the new arrival.

Rose revealed recently she has created an eco-friendly nursery for her son or daughter to grow up in, which includes magnetic animal wallpaper to keep the tot entertained.

It reads: ‘The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of his daughter, Princess Rose of Wales, to Prince Thorbjørn of Norway’. Kensington palace adds that the couple will undergo a live Q&A in Buckingham Palace at one o’clock, and will also be interviewed at thirteen forty-five by Marcus Hamilton on behalf of the press association.”

Princess Rose's expensive engagement ring

This 31-year-old princess proudly wears one of the most expensive royal engagement rings around.

Princess Rose’s 14-carat ring is estimated to be worth 1 million dollars. That’s $1,000,000.

Let’s take a closer look at this magnificent ring.

The center stone is a radiant cut diamond, a large radiant cut.  It’s 14 carats.

A radiant, created only 30 years ago, can be either square or rectangular. It’s similar to a princess cut but with angles, cut off edges.

When cut properly, a radiant can have magnificent radiance. That means fabulous sparkle.

The radiant cut has a personality traid of wisdom and is characterized as full of spirit and high energy.  Hey, that sounds like a perfect fit for Rose.

If you look at the second image here you can see the radiant is flanked on either side by smaller diamonds.  They could be one of several shapes.  The most popular side stones are the baguette cut and  trapezoid shaped diamonds.  The exact details of the ring, including the price, have never been revealed.

It had been twenty minutes since their engagement had been announced. Rose and Thorbjørn were now at Buckingham Palace for their first of many joint engagement interview.

There were a couple of minutes before the cameras started rolling where everyone got comfortable. When Rose had sat down, Thorbjørn moved closer, leaving no room between them. Rose put her left hand on her thigh and her right hand on Harry's lap. A movement which Thorbjørn sort of copied. His left on went underneath Rose's left hand while the right one simply rested next to him. They were close but gave them both some breathing room.

"Their Royal Highnessess, first congratulations on your pregnancy and now engagement." Marcus Hamilton, the interviewer said.

"Thank you." Rose and Thorbjørn replied.

"Can we start with the actual engagement? When did that happen and where?" Marcus Hamilton asked.

"Four nights ago at Rose's apartment. We were just relaxing and talking. I thought it was the perfect time." Thorbjørn answered.

"Yes, I was surprised but of course, I said yes." Rose said.

"And the engagement, is how long since you two met?"

"Well, we met over nine years ago but relationship wise over almost two years now." Rose replied.

"Yes, we were introduced by another couple over nine years ago, the couple swear we were perfect for each other but Rose was in a relationship at the time so we remained friends until two years ago, when I found out she was single, I took a leap of faith and now we're here." Thorbjørn said before Rose gave a big smile.

"Who would this couple be?" Marcus asked.

"That we are not willing to share but they will be at our wedding, so have fun guessing who they are." Rose answered.

"You two are the first royals to marry each other since the 19th century. Was it easier, having similar backgrounds, to find something in common?" Marcus asked.

"Our rebellious ways, was definitely our common ground. We knew that we were on different paths then everyone in our families so it was easy for us to bond." Thorbjørn answered.

"Obviously, I would ask about children but we already know you two have started. But are there more children in future for you two?" Marcus asked.

"Yes, hopefully two more after this little one." Rose answered.

"Yes, definitely two more." Thorbjørn agreed.
