Alex P.O.V

I wake up, surrounded with silence, this looks like one of those abandoned warehouses in the movies. I spot 4 cameras placed on the ceiling. Where am I? Then my memory triggers, and I realize that I was kidnapped.

"Hello!!!!" I shout, but hear no reply, only the echo of my voice.

"I see you're awake! That's good! Now you just have to wait for some people and I'll let you free!" A voice says, coming from within the shadows.

"Why don't you let me go now?" I ask.

"I can't, that decision doesn't depend on me, it rests completely on your parents!" The voice says.

"What do you mean?" I ask in hope that he might elaborate.

"Oh well, let's just say, your parents have to sign something and then I'll let you go!" The voice says.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I really feel offended that you don't remember me!"

Then abruptly the figure comes out of the shadows and I immediately recognize the person in front of me!

It's him.

Luke.

My best friend or now my ex-best friend!

Jesse P.O.V

Alex has been missing for 2 days! Queen Jessica is awfully worried about Alex. Her abductors only left one message!

Her parents hadn't told me what the message was because Amanda, Blake, Cameron and Skylar are here. They've noticed that Alex wasn't at school, so Liam told them the truth and they quickly rushed over. In the meantime, Hillary is comforting Queen Jessica along with my parents. Cameron is speaking one side with King James. I wonder what they are discussing at an urgent time like this.

Finally, they stop speaking and join the rest of us! Cameron walks over to sit next to me. Then a man enters the lounge, as he nears I make out the figure to be Cameron's father. What is he doing here? He walks straight up to King James and pats him on the back while saying,

"Hey James! Don't worry you'll get her back!" He says while King James thanks him for the support.

"So our parents know each other?" Liam asks questionly.

"Yep!" Cameron says not wanting to elaborate further.

"Cameron come here!" Cameron's father says and motions for him to join them.

He then hugs Cameron and slips something into Cameron's leather jacket. It looked like a phone!

"You know what to do!" His father says and Cameron nods.

My parents and Alex's parents nod in agreement. Something is fishy here and it's not the fish in the glass box. Blake and Liam are too busy comforting the girls to notice.

What is Cameron going to do?

"Um, guys I've got to get going!" Cameron announces and dashes out of the lounge, before anyone could reply.

Cameron P.O.V

Finally, we have been waiting two days for dad's team to track down Alex!

Unfortunately the bastard who kidnapped Alex found the tracker in her watch, luckily for us the tracker her parents implanted in her wrist was still there, even though it took awhile to give a location!

I am on my way with dad and the rest of the team trailing behind me. We arrive at the location, as I observe the area, I notice all the doors, entrances are closed or locked. I use my heat ring and cut out the window without any sound, I then signal the team that I'm going in!

I can hear voices, especially a very familiar one, Alex!

"How could you do this to me Luke? Don't you have any feelings?" I hear Alex shout out.

"Yes I do the desire to want more and you Alex.. you are my key to getting everything I want!" A male shouts back.

I then see the light signal, which means I can go in now!

Alex P.O.V

"What is it that you want?? More money??" I shout bitterly.

"Why would I want more money??? You are so oblivious Alexandria!!! You mean you never knew???" Luke asks, anger showing on his face.

"Knew what??" I ask.

"All these years Ria! I've liked you all these years, but you never noticed! I love you Ria!" Luke says.

"But why would you do this and sell my secrets for money Luke? Why?" I ask in a whisper.

"Because, you never saw me as more than your advisor-best friend! I knew you were there when I had that imaginary phone call Ria!! I wanted you to feel how I felt all these years! Hurt!" Luke says.

Why me? Why did I never notice?

"Luke I don't see you as anything but a brother....I used to but now...." I say.

"Ria, I don't want money, I just want you!" Luke says and comes closer to me.

"If you don't care about the money, what did you want my parents to sign?" I ask.

"They are supposed to sign, showing that they have given me approval to marry you! Isn't that great! Then we can finally be together.." Before Luke could say anything further he was hit over the head by someone.

"Man that dude sure is crazy!"

I look up to see my rescuer!

Cameron!

"Cam what are you doing here?" I ask, as he unties me out of the ropes.

"Don't worry Princess Alexandria!" Cameron says.

"I'm not the princess..." I try to say, but he cuts me off saying.

"It's fine, no need to deny it! I already know! I'll explain it to it to you later!" Cameron says and helps me up.

"Princess Alexandria I'm so sorry! That you had to go through all of that!" Cedrick, our family's head of security.

"It's quite alright..." I say.

"Alex!!"

I turn to see Liam, Jesse, Hillary and my parents. They all give me hugs and tell me how worried they were.

"James, I think you should all go home!" Cedrick says.

"Alex, you can ride with me!" Jesse says.

"That's very kind of you Jesse but I think Cameron can do that! Don't you still have a few things to sort out with Alex, son?" Cedrick asks in a stern tone.

"Yeah I do, let's go Alex!" Cam says.

We all climb in different cars and start driving to my house. Cameron starts the conversation first.

"Alex I have something to tell you!" He says and I nod for him to continue.

"As you probably just found out, my father is Cedrick Matthews your family's head of security, as well as many other royal families. When Jesse started attending school at Woodland Academy I was given the duty of being his bodygaurd at school, since I had all the training skills, thanks to my dad. I never told Jesse, but made it my mission to become his friend. Then you, Liam and Hillary arrived, then I was assigned to be your protective bodygaurds, besides the others, because I am close with all of you! I was supposed to tell all of you, but I was afraid of you guys not wanting to be friends with me anymore, cause I knew your secret. Even though my father encouraged me to tell you, I never could." Cameron says while keeping his eyes on the road.

"Cameron, its okay for you to be afraid but we are your friends and even if you knew our secret we wouldn't treat you differently! Now that we got that out of the way, could you explain to me how I got kidnapped?" I ask.

"Thanks! Okay, you were riding on your way home, then you stopped to talk to our gym coach. He left and another guy started talking to you, he put a rag on your mouth, Paul wanted to help you but a man hit his head from behind, he ended up in hospital. The guy who attacked Paul was Mr Johnson! Don't worry Paul's fine now! The other bodyguards were knocked out aswell, but not before Ron could alert my dad of what was happening! So that's what happened." Cameron says.

"Thanks for telling me! Now we just have to tell a very cranky Jesse the truth!" I say as we climb out of the car.

Jesse, Hillary and Liam were happy to know that Cameron knew their secret. Mainly because its hard to lie to your friends. Later I phoned the rest of my friends to let them know that I'm okay! Luke and Mr Johnson are locked up, don't worry we don't have a dungeon!😊 We're modern royalty.

So today I found out two new things!

1} My ex-best friend was in love with me!

2} Cameron is my bodygaurd!
