CHAPTER 23

THIRD PERSON’S POV

Ikinumpas ni Yazenth ang dalawa niyang mga kamay dahilan upang bumaba ang gintong liwanag mula sa kalangitan patungo sa kaniyang kinatatayuan. Nakipagsabayan siya sa malalakas na hampas ng hangin habang unti-unti siyang umaangat sa kaulapan.

Saglit siyang napalingon sa lupa kung saan matatanaw si Leaves na nakatingala sa kaniya. Leaves does not have the ability to fly, so the reason for the annoyance was clear on her face.

They stared at each other seriously for a moment before a smirk drew on Yazenth's lips as a big lightning ball formed on his hands. Inipon niya ang kidlat sa kanyang mga kamay hanggang sa makuntento siya sa laki at lakas nito.

He takes a deep breath and throws the big lightning ball towards Leaves, who was also forming a gigantic ball of black flames.

A split of second after Yazenth released the lightning ball, Leaves also releases hers. And in an instant, nagkasalubong ang mga ito at mabilis na bumulusok sa isa't isa, dahilan upang magkaroon ng malakas na pagsabog sa paligid.

The whole place started to be covered with yellow and black lights. Yazenth covered his eyes using his hands due to the bright light caused by the explosion.

When the blinding light subsided, it was replaced by a deafening silence. The surroundings were quite eerie, so he removed his hands that covered his eyes. But just a minute had passed, a cold breeze of air started to cuddle him, then came a sudden earthquake. He clearly sees the strong movement of the trees, collapsing because of the earthquake.

Sa kaba na baka madamay ang Royal Academy at mga estudyante ro'n ay napatingin siya kumikinang at matatayog na mga gusali. Nakahinga siya nang maluwag nang makita niya ang bumabalot na kapangyarihan sa buong lugar upang hindi ito madamay sa kaguluhang nangyayari ngayon sa Genesis Forest.

It didn't take long for the earthquake to stop. The damage from the explosion is evident as he scan the surrounding. Kitang-kita niya ang galit sa mga mata ni Leaves, ngunit hindi siya nasindak dito.

They were both gasping for breath because of the high amount of power they unleashed. They also have a lot of wounds on their bodies, but it doesn't seem to matter to them.

Muling naghanda si Yazenth para sa susunod niyang atake dahil alam niyang hindi pa tapos ang laban nilang dalawa. Kilala niya si Leaves, hindi iyon nagpapatalo sa kahit anong laban.

His eyes immediately turned intense blue as a big blue magic circle appeared in the sky. The magic circle moved fast in a circular motion as another magic circle appeared below it. It moved in a circular motion again, generating a big ball of blue light surrounded with a massive amount of black lightning.

The wind became strong and wild. Sumasabay ito sa nais ni Yazenth na mangyari. Then the whole sky of Utopia was suddenly enveloped in blue light, as a loud explosion sang in the farthest part of the Genesis Forest, where Leaves had been lying before.

Ang pangyayari ay nagtagal ng dalawang minuto, hanggang sa unti-unting humina ang pagkulog at pagkidlat, kasabay ng malakas na hangin at paggalaw ng lupa. And as the place went back to normal, he saw Leaves standing like nothing happened to her inside the huge crater made by his dangerous attack.

He saw how Leaves grinned as a black magic circle immediately appeared on the ground from where she was standing, and one above her.

The magic circle moved in a circular motion as black threads of smokes started materializing. And as soon as the magic circles glowed, a tremendous amount of smoke quickly rose towards Yazenth. Pero bago pa ito tumama sa kaniya, a thick layer of wind appeared in front of him, glowing it in white, and that's where Leaves' attack hit.

Yazenth was shocked by what happened. Hindi niya iyon inaasahan kaya napatingin siya sa ibaba, where she saw Eurybia in a big white magic circle on the ground. He assumed that Eurybia was the source of the thick wind that blocked Leaves' dangerous attack on him. But he never thought that Eurybia would be strong like that.

He just compares Eurybia's ability to the ability of Harmony, Jasmine and Gemini. So Eurybia became more mysterious to him because no one knew who she was and where or what family she came from.

He nodded at Eurybia, as a sign of saying thank you for what she had done, as he looked back at Leaves seriously.

Eurybia, on the other hand, immediately disappeared from where she was standing because she was already done to her part—to help them.

He saw how Leaves grinned before she disappeared where she was standing.

Yazenth wondered what Leaves had done. He looked down, searching for her but he couldn't find her. He couldn't even trace her powers, so nervousness went up all over his body. Sigurado siyang may binabalak na naman si Leaves, so he prepared himself, and all of his senses activated in an instant. He became more aggressive and observant, but he still did notice the invisible spikes made of black flame that quickly hit his body.

He screamed in pain as he falls down because he lost his balanced and concentration. Mabilis na bumagsak siya dahilan upang magkaroon ng maliit na crater sa lupa.

Napadaing si Yazenth dahil sa kakaibang sakit na gumapang sa buong katawan niya. Hanggang sa makarinig siya ng mga yabag papalapit sa kinaroroonan niya.

He tried to move, but was unable to do it because he could barely move his body. But he did not despair. He had to get away immediately because otherwise, he would surely end up here as well. Pero hindi niya iyon hahayaan na mangyari dahil hindi niya matatanggap na isang babae lang ang makatatapos sa kaniya. It would be a great folly when that happened because he is the God of Heaven.

"Fvck!" he cursed when he finally got up, but it was too late for him to go away because Leaves was already in front of him.

"What a weakling God again!" said Leaves to him with a streak of insult, wearing her evil smirk.

"Make one wrong move again and you will taste my full power!" he threatened Leaves, pero sa halip ma seryosohin ito ni Leaves ay tinawanan lamang niya ito. And he is expecting it already because Leaves' power is no joke.

Alam niya kung kailan magse-seryoso at hindi. And this time that Yazenth can't really move already, it's easier for Leaves to do what she wants with him.

Leaves was about to form a black fireball but Yazenth preceded her. He still managed to make hundreds of yellow spikes made with lightning that fell where Leaves was.

Biglaan ang pag-atake na iyon kaya hindi nagawang ilagan ni Leaves. Ginamit naman ni Yazenth ang pagkakataon na iyon upang makalayo. Pero bago pa siya makalayo ay may makapal at maitim na usok na pumalibot sa kaniya.

The smokes suppressed his moves. Unti-unting humigpit ang itim na usok na nakapalibot sa katawan niya, kaya naikuyom niya ang kaniyang mga kamay. Until the black smoke thickened, and he could barely breathe. He was already in an extreme pain, so he couldn't stop himself from screaming.

Naglakad si Leaves papalapit kay Yazenth habang mahigpit na hawak ang espada niyang naglalagablab sa itim na apoy. At akmang ihahampasa na sana niya ito sa katawan ni Yazenth nang biglang may sumabog malapit sa kanila. Pagkatapos nito ay ang pagliwanag ng buong paligid sa berde.

They were both stunned by what had happened. Until the rocks, wood, and even the trees that were still standing gradually rose into the air.

Pero hindi iyon ang mas pinagtuunan ng pansin ni Yazenth. He struggles to get rid of the smoke that surrounds his entire body. He was desperate to get out of there already, so he was doing all he could.

"You know what, Yazenth. If you hadn't just interfered with what I wanted, this wouldn't have happened to you! Nagpapakabayani ka kasi, eh. Akala mo naman may mapapala ka sa ginagawa mong iyan sa babaeng iyon!" Leaves shouted angrily before she laughed foolishly.

"How dare you!" Yazenth cursed.

"Yes, of course. You don't need to remind me of that already because I know, Yazenth. I know!" Leaves responded with a dragging sigh. "Yazenth, let me just remind you that even though we are like siblings already, I still will not let you succeed in your desire, especially if it is against what I want to happen. You pushed me to my limits, then you should accept the consequences of what you did, after all, nagmamagaling ka naman. Akala mo ikaw ang pinakamalakas sa ating lahat! But look at you now, my dear Yazenth." She laughed crazily as the ball of black fire formed in her hands. And she was about to launch an attack when a ball of green fire hit her.

Natumba siya sa harap mismo ni Yazenth bago marahas na napatingin aa kaniyang likuran. There, she saw a lady with a crown on her head, wearing a green dress that reaches the ground. Halatang nagulat siya sa nakita, maging si Yazenth na pinipilit pa rin hanggang ngayon ang kumawala sa makapal na usok na bumabalot sa katawan niya.

"Is that how we raised you? Did we take care of you, and teach you to use power to hurt each other?" A deep and commanding voice of a woman echoed in the burning and chaotic Genesis Forest.

Ang dating napakayabong na legendary forest ay unti-unti nang tinutupok o binubura ng iba't ibang klase ng apoy sa mapa ng Utopia o ng Therra Universe dahil lamang sa labanan sa pagitan ng pinakamakakapangyarihang mga Bathala at Bathaluman sa henerasyong ito.

Ito pangalawang pagkakataon na nangyari ang ganito sa kasaysayan ng Therra Universe, kaya paniguradong isang napakabigat na parusa ang maipapataw sa kanilang lahat na kabilang sa pangyayaring ito.

"Leaves, and Yazenth . . . gusto niyo ba na sa amin na magtapos ang panunungkulan ng angkan natin? Kabilang kayo sa ilan sa mga inaasahan namin para sa mga tungkulin sa susunod na mga henerasyon. Pero sa ginagawa niyong iyan, lalo niyo lang pinapatunayan na hindi kayo nararapat na mapabilang sa amin-ang manungkulan sa sanlibutang ito. Kaya hindi na rin ako magtataka kung dumating ang panahon na wala ni isa sa inyong dalawa ang mapipili na maging susunod na hari o reyna ng Utopia dahil sa kahangalang ipinapakita niyo ngayon!" Queen Gail said to them. Her voice shows no rhythm of delight and nor longing. It's plain and dry.

Parehas silang hindi naka-imik at nakagalaw dahil sa kanilang mga narinig. Until the thick and dark smoke surrounding Yazenth's body gradually disappeared causing him to fall, probably because he is out of balance. He is already weak due to the energy he consumed, trying to escape Leaves' dangerous smoke, and if it continues there is a possibility that he will die.

They may be immortal; a God or Goddess that may not die by natural means, but when cut by swords, struck by arrows or by the power of anyone, they may still die. It may also be due to abuse of their power or they used it incorrectly, which will be diffused because not all powers are unlimited, even if you're a God or Goddess. Only the God or Goddess of Infinity does not lose power because he or she is the source of all of it.

"Alpha Goddess Hely and King Bernian want to speak to you, along with the whole class and God Rain for violating the Utopia and Royal Academy's rules!" Queen Gail said strictly before she disappeared in a green thin air.

Leaves took a deep breath as she turned her gaze at Yazenth, followed by a dragging sigh before she also disappeared.

Yazenth, on the other hand, sat down for a while to rest and regain even a little of the strength he had lost before he finally disappeared as well, going to Utopia's Palace, where he is the only one they are waiting for before the trials begin with them.
