CHAPTER 15

GREEN LEMON

HINDI namin alam ni Scarlet kung ilang minuto na kaming nagbubulungan dahil sa lalaking kasama namin na mukhang galit dahil sa bilis niyang maglakad.

We were already at Utopia Palace and we just followed the man we didn’t expect to be with us going here, Yazenth.

“Is he mad at us?” asked Scarlet as she turned around and that made me shocked. She seemed to be enjoying her gown here in a wide hallway that seemed to have no end in length.

Everything I see is pure diamond. The whole palace is made of a huge diamond that even when no sun or moon rises is still bright because of its unique brilliance. It's already night but it's still like morning or noon because of its light that doesn't hurt the eyes.

“I don't know. Why would he be angry with us? Did we do something wrong?” I asked back, and she just shook from left to right.

Malayo na kasi ang agwat naming dalawa kay Yazenth. Masyado na siyang malayo sa 'min dahil sobrang bilis niyang maglakad. Hindi naman namin siya mahabol-habol dahil naka-suot kami ng dress na umaabot sa floor at naka-heels kaming dalawa. Mabuti sana kung hindi ito masakit sa mga paa.

"Nakakatakot pa namang magalit iyang lalaking iyan. Silent but deadly. Kung gaano siya ka-gwapo ay ganun naman siya katakot kapag nagalit!" she hysterically said.

"Ikaw na ang bahala sa kaniya, ha? In just a blink of his eyes, I was a cold corpse. You're my only protector here, Green,” she said so I just laughed. May kinatatakutan din naman pala itong babaeng ito, si Yazenth.

"W-Wait, why me? Wala naman tayong ginagawa, ha?" Ngumiti ako ng hilaw bago ako lumayo nang bahagya sa kaniya.

Nasapo niya ang mukha niya dahil sa mga tanong ko. "Ang tanga mo sa part na ito, ha? Kapag si Yazenth, required na maging tanga ka?"

What? How dare her to insult me!

"Of course, Green. As you can see, we're all late. Hindi mo pa nga kilala si Yazenth. So now, ready yourself, not just for Yazenth, but to all the Neonian Gods and Goddesses, and to Alpha Goddess Hely if she's here. But I'm not pretty sure if Yazenth will do something crazy to you, ha? Knowing that—"

"Stop! Kung anuman ang sasabihin mo, huwag mo nang sabihin, baka makalimutan kitang kaibigan kita, okay?" I said stupendously. I even raised my right brow to terrify her, though I'm just kidding with what I said.

"It only means that you already have feelings with him, right?" she said with a wide smile on her face. Somehow, I stopped and thought about it. Do I have feelings with him? No?

"Just shut up!" I rolled my eyes before I walked briskly.

I heard her giggle but I just ignored her and continued walking.

In just a few minutes later, we were in front of a large door already. It's like a gate because of the size of it, and guess what, it's made of diamond again.

"The Monarchical Door!" said Scarlet in an awe. Her lips parted while scanning the big-elegant door.

Lumapit siya r'on at hinaplos ito. Kitang-kita sa mukha niya ang saya. Alam kong matagal na niyang pangarap na makita at mahawakan ang kahit ano'ng parte nitong Utopia Palace. And here she is . . . thanks to the weird invitation.

Nang bigla siyang mapa-atras dahil biglang may umalingawngaw. We were both shocked because of that deafening loud noise.

"Ready yourselves. Behind the Monarchical Door is the hall of the palace where the Neonian Gods and Goddesses can be seen. It is also possible that Alpha Goddess Hely is here because she wants to know something from you,” Yazenth explained.

“Me? Why me again?” I asked in confusion.

I immediately looked at him to confirm who he was referring to. There was no expression on his face while looking at me.

My brows narrowed because of his look. He was just beside me, and we were only a few inches away from each other so I couldn’t help but feel weird.

I chuckled. Butterflies immediately surged inside me. So, I turned my gaze back to the Monarchical Door, and stood frozen.

"Your cheeks are turning into red," Scarlet whispered before she giggled.

I smirked and pinched her in the right hand causing her to groan loudly.

"Do you want more?" I whispered as I looked at her and arched my brows.

She shook from left to right. Until the Monarchical Door slowly opened which is why I was suddenly nervous.

It was as if we opened a refrigerator because the cold air came from inside. Minutes had passed, the cold air suddenly disappeared and it was replaced by deafening silence. The surrounding was quite eerie. But what I noticed is that, the hall that Yazenth said earlier that I expected to be very beautiful and glowing in the light is one that is shrouded in darkness. So the nervousness went up even more in my body.

But without any hesitation, Yazenth walked through. So, I and Scarlet just followed him even with skepticism.

The moment darkness engulfed my body I suddenly felt a strong force push me. I almost lost my balance, but fortunately I was able to cling to Scarlet. But even so, it also happened to her.

After a couple of seconds, a light welcomed us.

"Wow!" I breathed. My jaw was almost dropped.

I and Scarlet just walked before Yazenth while roaming around our eyes. But a couple of steps before him, I suddenly stopped and roamed around for a moment.

I stared at the surroundings with an open mouthed awe. Now I know why everyone wishes to see this palace.

It looks like it's raining diamonds or crystals all over the hall. Large diamond chandeliers are gleaming. Also, scattered inside are various types of flowers that do not seem to wither or die. They are all still fresh. Everything in this place screams royalty and power. I could feel the presence of the important and powerful creatures in the entire Therra Universe.

"Green," I heard someone call my name, but I ignored it.

But suddenly, I heard a voice from my mind. It was Hearlet's voice. Yes, I can't be wrong, it's her voice.

Agad kong iginala ang tingin sa paligid dahil sa pagbabakasakaling makikita ko siya. But I was shocked to see an unfamiliar faces of creatures around me. They were all staring at me while sitting on their respective thrones, I guess? Their eyes are gleaming while staring at me.

"Don't stare at us like that! Seat in the throne reserved for you," I heard Hearlet's voice again in my mind.

I bit my lower lip as I chuckled and roamed my sight to see the throne that Hearlet pertaining about.

"Scarlet," I whispered when I finally saw her sitting in a small throne near the throne where Hearlet was sitting.

I saw his lips part as if he was saying something but I could not hear or understand it.

"Fvck!" I mentally cursed. Nakakahiya na ang katangahan ko rito.

I looked sharply at Scarlet. Until she pointed to the throne next to her. Pinagitnaan nila ito ni Yazenth, so I immediately walked over there, but my sight caught Yazenth looking at me seriously.

I bent down and walked towards the throne because I could feel my ears and cheeks turned red.

"We'll talk later!" Yazenth said in his serious and deadly, but husky voice. Damn! Instead of being scared I seemed to be even happier even though I already knew what he was going to say or what would happen.
