CHAPTER 12

GREEN LEMON

IGINALA ko ang paningin kay Celeste at ang kambal na mukhang kagigising lang dahil kinukusot pa lang nila ang kanilang mga mata.

Naka-upo ako ngayon dito sa aking kama na para bang walang nangyari. Hindi ko alam kung paano ako nakarating dito agad, pero hindi na iyon mahalaga pa dahil mas may kailangan akong alamin.

"So totoo talagang pinatigil ni Hearlet ang oras? P-Pero p-paano? Hindi iyon sakop ng kapangyarihan niya. She's not that strong too!" I mentally said. I so confused who she really is. Ngayon ko lang na-realize na hindi ko pala siya kilala nang buo.

"G-Green? Ka-"

Hindi naituloy ni Scarlet ang kaniyang sasabihin dahil sa sunod-sunod na malalakas na katok sa pinto.

"Wait!" Uminat si Scarlet bago bumaba sa kanilang kama ni Starlet. Mas malapit sila sa may pinto.

"Sino ba iyan? Umagang-umaga!" she continued before she opened the door and saw Harmony and Virgo chasing their breath.

"A-Are you all okay?" Harmony blurted out as he looked around us.

"Y-Yeah!" nag-aalangang tugon ni Scarlet habang tumatango-tango.

"Are you okay?" Nagulat ako nang biglang lumitaw sa aking harapan si Yazenth.

Natuon ang tingin ko sa kaniya. I was charmed of his charisma. His gray eyes shows danger but with mercy, and his messy hairs that mirrors the sun became more prominent because of his suit. He is so gorgeous in his messy hairs and elegant uniform. Kitang-kita ko ngayon kabuoan ng mukha niya.

Napalunok ako. Butterflies surged inside me, fuelling the flame that has been burning my cheeks.

"H-Hey!" His face is few inches with me already. I can now smell his mint breath. I was completely stunned.

"A-I'm o-okay," nag-aalangang sagot ko. And the moment he touched my hand, I felt a sudden surge of electrifying sensation all throughout my body.

"You are shaking. Did something happen?" I heard him chuckle. Concern was evident on his face

"Nagulat lang ako," I said, trying to stay composed as hard as I could.

"Green," said Harmony as he took my hands from Yazenth's hand. "She's okay, there's nothing to worry," he continued, and his look is something like he wants to burst out in anger, but he's trying to hold his temper.

Naningkit ang mata kong tiningnan siya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya nagkakaganyan. And I don't want to assume, ha? But he seemed jealous.

Lumayo naman si Yazenth sa akin nang bahagya. "Okay," he said calmly. His husky voice is like a music in my ears. It's so nice to hear.

"I think you went to the wrong room, Mr. White?" Harmony exclaimed. Para siyang naghahamon ng away.

"Hey," awat ko. I held his wrist.

"I don't think so, I'm just checking her, is there anything wrong, Mr. Harmony?" he said with a grin.

I felt Harmony closed his palm. So I tightened the grip on his wrist.

"Anyway, I gotta go, it looks like someone will explode with anger here. Too territorial even though he doesn't own it!" insulted by Yazenth. He's grinning.

My forehead furrowed because of what he said.

"We'll talk later!" Harmony responded before Yazenth disappeared in front of eyes.

Harmony sighed. "Akala mo kung sino'ng umasta!" she mumbled.

"Stop that already! Para kayong mga tanga, pinag-aagawan niyo ang iisang babae!" Celeste blurted out.

"Ha? Ano'ng ibig mong sabihin?" I asked in confusion, and she just frowned.

"Pa-inosente lang?" biro ni Scarlet. "But kidding aside, bakit ba kayo narito, Harmony, Kuya?" she asked and we all turned our attention to them.

"The time stopped earlier, we came here to check on you," Virgo stated. I suddenly remembered what Hearlet said earlier.

"According to God Rain, they caught a shadow roaming around and saw it coming here to the girls dormitory. So he immediately came here in Royal Academy with my father, Lii, the God of Time. But before they got in here, Lii noticed something. The time stopped, and at the same time, all the creatures throughout Therra Universe stopped moving, except him, who's the God of Time," mahabang salaysay niya. Pero gaano katagal tumigil ang oras? Don't tell me . . . Kung gaano ako katagal sa Virtual World ay gano'n din katagal? This can't be!

Nabalot ng katahimikan ang buong silid. No one dares to speak, even Celeste who's fierce and seemingly fearless is also unable to comment. She seems to be thinking deeply.

"W-Wait," bumaling ang tingin ko kay Celeste, gayundin silang lahat. "Is it possible that the shadow you're talking about is the one who took Infinity before?" she asked curiously.

"W-What?" gulat na tanong ni Scarlet. She seemed interested with Celeste's question.

"That's what we're thinking also," Harmony responded as she turned his gaze at Virgo. "Pero malalaman natin mamaya ang sagot sa katanungan natin. God Rain and God Lii returned to Utopia Palace already for that, so just calm okay? Looks like the shadow disappeared already!"

I took a deep breath. If that shadow was Hearlet, could he also be the one Celeste is referring to as the shadow that took and killed Infinity? She may even have killed my parents. But Hearlet could not do that. That's not how I got to know her.

"Shit!" I blurted out nonstop. Naguguluhan ako kung sino talaga siya. Nagsisimula na akong magduda sa kaniya.

"Green, are you okay?" I turned my gaze at Harmony who's looking at me with his confuse looks.

Tiningnan ko lang siya dahil hindi ko alam ang isasagot ko.

"Stay calm, may gumugulo ba sa iyo?" she asked out of curiosity.

I shook my head, "Nothing," I responded without looking at him or anyone else.

Bumuntong hininga siya. I know he's disappointed, pero hindi naman maaaring tanungin kung sino si Hearlet dahil malalaman nila ang sikreto namin-na hindi kami totoong mag-ina. So I better keep it to myself na lang.

"Training will start at any time so get ready," Virgo said, and Celeste, together with the twins immediately move to prepare their selves.

"I'll just talk to Yazenth!" We turned our gaze at Harmony who seemed so serious with what he said.

"So, he's really serious?" I mentally asked.

Hanggang sa bigla na lang siyang naglaho sa aming harapan.

"I will follow him," said Virgo before he ran out of the room. My eyes didn't follow him at high speed. Even if he could not disappear, he could run as fast as he could.

Well, of the six of us, only Harmony is capable of disappearing. Celeste can fly as high as she can. While the twins, like me, have no ability to do whatever they can, but I can make myself invisible to everyone, and the twins couldn't. So I'm still grateful.

"Don't stare at me like that," I sighed before getting off my bed.

"Okay," Scarlet giggled.

"Are you familiar with Virtual World?" I reluctantly asked while fixing my bed.

I did not get an answer from them so I just sighed.

"You mean the Mythical World of Xi?" I heard Celeste said.

I arched my brows before I turned my gaze at her. "Mythical?"

She nodded, "Yes, Virtual World has remained mythic because no one can say that . . . that world really does exist."

My eyebrows met immediately. "But I've been there," I said.

I got the twin's attention because of what I said. They stared at me in astonishment. And a moment later, they bursted into laugh.

"S-Sorry, but . . . Are you serious?" Starlet asked while giggling.

"I'm serious!" I said seriously reason to calm them down.

"She really is," Starlet whispered to Scarlet.

"In the tree of the past and the truth I found out what happened to me that you do not want to say," I said stupendously. They almost dropped their jaws because of what I said.

"W-Wait, I don't know what to say, but you're not kidding right?" Celeste approached me. "Of course," she continued.

"Leaves and I fought! I tried to save you, but in the end you saved me. You're all curious about my strange powers!" I seriously said. I made sure that my face didn't have any expression.

"How did you know? The Alpha Goddess took all of that in your mind, and whoever tells the truth will be punished, of course, no one will tell the truth to you. Alpha Goddess Hely's power is extraordinary and not a joke. She's the Goddess of Life after all, so I'm sure no one will tell you this, unless she wants to die, "she explained at length.

"Because everything I say is true. I followed the shadow earlier," I lied. I did not follow a shadow but a butterfly. But who knows if that butterfly is really a shadow to their eyes.

"That shadow stopped the time the moment we entered sa Virtual World," I lied again. Si Hearlet ang may kagagawan no'n, pero hindi ko maaaring sabihin ito. This is the best thing I could do now to know everything I want to know.

"Yeah, we know you're not kidding, right? But I don't know if I will believe you. You're my friend, Green and I know you will not lie to us. So I do not want to believe, but-"

"It's okay, I understand." I cut her words." Anyway, just forget what I said." I immediately entered the first CR and put my palm on my face.

Gosh! I made wrong move. I hope they forget it right away, but as if, knowing Celeste, and Scarlet? Those two are talkative and inquisitive. Starlet, on the other hand, was quiet but often, I could not even answer some her questions. They might even tell Harmony and Virgo. Argh! What the hell! I hope I didn't just say those things.
