CHAPTER 11

GREEN LEMON

THEY say, in order for us to move forward. We need to forget what was happened in the past. We need to accept it because everything happens for a reason. So in the past few days, I have gradually accepted everything that happened to my family. Because it is necessary, I have to accept it. I want to start again.

"Green!" I suddenly heard a voice in my mind.

I immediately opened my eyes because of that familiar voice and no longer surprised to see a large green butterfly flying above me.

I immediately smiled because it was familiar to me—it's Hearlet's butterfly. And when everything registered in my mind, I immediately got off my bed, and followed the butterfly flying away from me. It went through the open window near the twin's bed. So I hurried out the door and ran down the dormitory. Until I finally get out.

The surroundings are still a bit dark. Maybe it's just 5:00 in the morning. But I could clearly see the whole place already because of diamonds that gives lights throughout the academy.

When I saw the large green butterfly again, I quickly ran closer to it and followed. It looks like he/she's waiting for me, so I just followed it. Until it finally stopped in front of the portal. Yes, I can not be wrong, it's a portal. Ganito ang ginamit namin ni Hearlet para makarating no'n dito sa Royal Academy.

Moments later, the butterfly entered the portal. Sinundan lamang ito ng aking mga mata, hanggang sa tuluyan itong mawala sa paningin ko. I was hesitant to follow it, but I just noticed that my own feet were stepping into the portal. So I did nothing but go ahead.

Agad na bumungad sa akin ang matinding liwanag na nanggagaling do'n. So I close my eyes tightly. And for a moment I hugged myself because of the strange breeze that hit my skin. The cold it caused on my body was strange.

What also makes a little noise around is the birds chirping around. It was as if they were singing, and it was nice to hear it in my ear, so I couldn't help but smile broadly. At nang mapansin kong unti-unti nang nawawala ang matinding liwanag ay unti-unti ko nang ibinukas ang aking mga mata.

"Ang ganda," I mumbled breathlessly.

Just like Royal Academy, this place is so magical. But the thing I noticed is that I don't see any buildings around. I am in a vast garden—a terrain that is covered by a well-kept grasses. Different kinds of beautiful flowers are everywhere, and in the middle part of it is the perfectly trimmed hedges surrounded a broad lone tree that shines so bright, but it's not painful in the eyes.

But I immediately closed my eyes when I smelled something strange. The aromatic scent of the fresh mosses mixed with the scent of the forest lingers in the air. I sniffed it as if it was the scent I had ever smelled in my entire life. Until I heard the voice of a familiar woman.

"H-Hearlet?" I said as I opened my eyes to find where she is. And there I saw her in front of me wearing a light green dress.

She looks like a Goddess of Nature in her dress. So gorgeous!

I suddenly smiled, but it immediately disappeared when I saw his expressionless face.

I stand still waiting her to speak.

"You're not attending your training as a Clandestine?" she said coldly. So I chuckled.

"Because I don't fit in with that class. And one more thing, I did not intend to be there," I answered.

Sa nakalipas kasing isang linggo ay minabuti kong hindi na pumasok sa klase naming mga Clandestine. I wanted to leave that class, but I did not know how. I have nothing to ask about it because no one knows I belong there. Kaya hindi na lang ako pumapasok. That's all I know to do right now, because that's how it really is, when you have a lot of absences in class, you can be dropped out. Besides, I didn't really want to be in that class.

"You're worthy to be part of that class, Green. You're strong enough. Many seek to become part of that class but they are unable to do so because they do not have the power as strong as yours. Well I guess, you still don't know that if you continue to not attend your class, your identity will be revealed to everyone. Many will be interested in taking your power. Leaves is one of them who is monitoring all your actions because of what happened these past days!" She said at length, and I suddenly felt nervous. I'm also confused with what she said

"I know you're still confused because you can't remember what happened. But let me tell you, everyone is curious about who you really are because of your unique power. Do you want to remember all what happened between you and Leaves?" I just nodded out of curiosity.

That's what I wanted to know so badly. So Leaves and I really fought? That was the incident I do not remember? Is that the reason why I was taken to the clinic?

I IMMEDIATELY stood up and covered my mouth when the fight between my group and Leaves' group flashed through my mind.

I want to open my eyes because I can no longer recall what happened, but I could n’t. Hindi ko kayang makita sina Celeste, Virgo at lalong-lalo na si Harmony na nahihirapan at sumisigaw sa sakit dahil sa nakakamatay na kapangyarihan ni Leaves. Mabuti sana kung sarili ko lang ang nakikita kong nasasaktan, pero noong tulungan ako ni Harmony at isakripisyo ang kaniyang buhay para lang iligtas ako? Ibang usapan na iyon.

Iyan ang pinaka-ayaw ko sa lahat-ang kinakaawaan ako at tinutulungan. Simula nang may nangyari noong panahon na humihingi ako ng tulong sa mga Pulis ay natakot na akong magpatulong pang muli.

"Green!" I heard Hearlet shout. Until I felt a cold palm stick to my forehead. Gradually it warmed up, until I woke up and chased my breath sitting on a chair made of a tangled root of a large, glowing tree in front of me.

Hearlet says, this tree is the tree of past and reality. All the events you want to go back in the past and the truth you want to know will give it. This tree is also found only here in the Virtual World.

"You are shouting," Hearlet said as she walked away from me.

Sinundan ko siya ng tingin. "I need to go back to the Royal Academy, maybe my friends are looking for me already, we will train early," I said and quickly walked towards her.

"I stopped time all over Therra," she said without looking at me.

"W-What?" I asked in shock.

I chuckled. Can she do that? How? Who is she really?

"If you want to know who you really are, and the truth about you, only by being Clandestine will you know it," she replied to my surprise.

I walked in front of her. "W-Wait, what are you saying?" I asked in confusion.

Naguguluhan ko siyang tinitigan. Her face still has no expression so I have a hard time finding out if she is joking or not. But I don't think it's because those words are not in her vocabulary.

"As what I said, only by being Clandestine will you know everything. But so that you will not be too confused . . . Have you ever asked yourself why you have power?" she nonchalantly asked, and immediately I nodded.

"Do your parents have power? Did you see it?" she asked again and I immediately thought about it.

"W-Wala. H-Hindi ko alam," I answered honestly.

She glanced at me and smirked. "You're different, Green! You are different from everyone else. You're beyond expectation. You're powerful than the others. So be careful because your real opponent is just sticking with you and waiting for the right opportunity to make his/her plans," she stated so casually that it seemed like she didn't surprise. She's so calm.

"I don't understand, Hearlet. What are you saying? Who are you reffering to?" I was overwhelmed by frustration and confusion.

"Save your questions for our next meeting, see you! "She said before she finally disappeared in front of me.

And a couple of seconds, a strong force pulled me back to the portal. Until it sucked me in and felt the soft thing familiar to me-my bed.
