For days after the police had been called, Baekhyun watched their house from a distance, waiting for Miran. Sometimes Chanyeol would accompany him to keep a look out, but they never saw her. It was like she no longer lived in that house. He then hired the private investigator who had found out Jagi's past for Soo. The detective had found within a few hours that the Nam's oldest daughter wasn't living there anymore. By asking around with the neighbors and offering bribes for information he had found out that the very night the police left, her parents had called in a van from a mental hospital nearby.

They had told the watchful neighbors that their daughter had been kidnapped and suffered abuse, and was now being treated for her mental instability at a hospital called Sunflower Fields. As soon as Baekhyun found out, he went over there with Chanyeol.

He had parked his car in the lot in front of the hospital and walked into the lobby, demanding to see his Miran. "I'm here for Nam Miran. She's my girlfriend and her parents locked her in here because they don't want us together. She's not unstable, she's perfect. I demand that you release her to me." He had slammed his fist on the desk where the receptionist sat.

But she was oddly calm--she was used to seeing aggressive behaviors from the patients and it did little to startle her now. She merely typed the name into her computer system and then looked up at the two young men, adjusting her glasses on the bridge of her nose. "It says here that Miss Nam was diagnosed with Stockholm Syndrome and is being treated by Dr. Kang. Her parents have allowed no visitors for their daughter."

Frustrated, Baekhyuhn practically shouted at her. "Are you fucking deaf? I already explained to you that her parents only brought her here to keep me away from her."

The receptionist eyed him once more. She saw the way he was behaving and asked, "Are you the person that had her kidnapped and put her under abuse?" Her hand slowly moved under the table where there was a silent alarm to alert security.

"I never abused her." Baekhyun swore, not that he thought anyone would believe him. They would believe her parents word over his or Miran's because he was a criminal and they had money. They would just bribe anyone who didn't believe them. "She wanted to be with me. Her parents were the ones who threw her away like she was trash. My family and I gave her a home. She wants to return to us."

But the receptionist had heard enough. She pressed the button under her desk and four security guards marched out from behind one of the doors in the lobby. They walked towards the two members of the Wolves and grabbed them by the arms. Baekhyun tried to fight back, shouting that he was going to come back for Miran. But they were thrown out into the parking lot and were asked not to come back. The guards warned them that if they ever returned to the hospital, they would call the police to have them taken away instead.

"Lets just go, Light." Chanyeol urged, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"We can't just leave her here, Fire." Baekhyun heaved a sigh. He was slightly outraged that his friend had given up so easily on saving Miran from that hospital and her parents. She didn't deserve what was happening to her. "She's not just my girlfriend, she's our family. We can't leave her behind."

But his friend nodded in agreement, explaining, "We can't do anything right now. Let's just go back home and think up something with the others. We need the whole family to help us if we want to bust her out of here."

Baekhyun returned to the house with Chanyeol and asked him to gather everyone in the living room. He was going to ask for their help to get Miran back. He had gone up to his room first for a moment, before joining everyone in the living room. As soon as he opened the door, he wasn't pleased by what he saw. Waiting for him was his wife Minha, sitting in a wheel chair and she smiled wide when she saw him.

"You're home, my nampyeon." She said lovingly. Her husband, she had called him.

He didn't want to be rude, and he wanted to understand her. She had spent the last three years in a coma and to her, it was like no time had passed. He knew how she felt. She was hurt and didn't want to accept the truth. He had been the same when he saw her die. He didn't want to accept it and for a long time he cried her absence.

But he wasn't going to pretend to love her for her sake. It would only end badly. Instead he asked her the question, "What are you doing here?" And he was trying so hard not to sound rude.

Although with everything that was happening with Miran, he knew he had probably failed. She was taken aback at the fact that he had minimally snapped at her. Her smile had dropped for the briefest of an instant before it returned to her face. She informed him with excitement. "I asked my brother if I could move in here, so that I'd be closer to you and we could both raise our son. He said it was fine and helped me move everything." By moving in, she clearly meant that she had every intention of moving in Baekhyun's room now that Miran was gone.

She already had her things moved into the room and had spent all morning unpacking them. She was relieved that he had only just arrived, since she knew he would have tried to stop her. Now that she was settled in, it would be more difficult for him to get rid of her.

Beakhyun heaved a tired sigh and crouched in front of her, getting at eye level. He told her with as much calm as he could manage to put together in that moment. "I already told you how I feel, Minha. And you were okay with divorcing me when we talked about it a few days ago, so I don't understand what changed. I'm going to move your things into another room tonight. But right now I don't have time for this." When he finished, he quickly stood upright and moved to leave the room.

But it was like his words went in one ear and out the other. Her words were the ones that stopped him in his tracks. "I'm not leaving. I changed my mind. Letting you go so easily was a mistake. I'm going to fight for this marriage whether you're cooperating or not. Our son needs both parents." She told him with a passive aggressive smile.

He sighed in frustration.

Saying nothing to her, he went to his closet and grabbed the first five shirts he could see. He then did the same with his pants, shoes, and undergarments. "We'll talk about this later, Min. I really don't have time for this right now."

"Where are you going?" She wondered, jutting out her lower lip into a pout.

"Keep the room for you and the baby." He informed her, walking towards the door now. "I'll sleep on the couch in the living room, or maybe with the younger pack. They're in the works of moving out anyway."

"Light--" She called, trying to stop him with a whine.

But he ignored her as he walked out of the room.
