Hazel's POV:

"Have you seen Belle?" I asked Violet as she texted on her phone
"No, I haven't, not for ages." She said as her eyes stayed glued to her phone.
I reached over, took her phone and ran out of the room.
"Give it back!" She screamed as I ran faster
"No, you shouldn't be focused on this. Belle could be in trouble!!" I shouted as I ran up the stairs
Once I was up the stairs I jumped over the banister at the top and ran down and opened the front door. I waited a moment when I was at the door.
"Give me my phone and I will help, Okay!?" She said out of breath
I handed it over and we went outside. I stood still, inhaling the air and sniffed for scents. Her parents are close. Violet stood beside me sniffing the air.
"Come on, her parents are close." I said grabbing her arms
"No, I'm not doing that." She said
"Doing what?" I asked as my wings floated by my sides
"That!" She said pointing at my wings
I took hold of her arms and leaped into the air.
I could see her parents nearby, almost as if they were looking for something. I gently landed on the ground and let go of Violet. She stumbled and collapsed.
"Never. Do that to me. Again." She said as I laughed
I ran over to her parents and they smiled and they saw me.
"Hello dear, have you seen Belle? She's been missing recently." Her mother said
"No, I haven't seen Max either. I'm here because I'm looking for her." I said
"Well, the last time I saw her was a few days ago. She was with Max but both of them seemed to have gone." She said
"Where were they last?" I asked
"Near the north border." She said
"Thank you, Violet would you stay with them and help them look?" I asked
"Sure, I'll tell Percy that you will be back soon." Violet said smiling
"Okay, what's outside the north pack lands?" I asked
"There's the human territory then there is another pack." She said
"Thank you for your help." I said running towards the pack house

After a few minutes I had reached the pack house, I would need to bring some things with me. I grabbed a jacket, hat, gloves, mask, map, combat boots, a watch, a backpack, my phone, bacon, food, drinks, Swiss army pocket knife, a torch and god knows what else. Once I had put them on and sorted everything out I looked normal. Most of the stranger items were in the backpack. I left a few notes around for everyone so they knew what I was up to. I opened my door and closed it behind me. I went down the stairs and opened the front door. I sniffed the air before turning towards the north border. Suddenly I started running. I'm coming Belle.

Once I reached the human territory I slightly recognised the area, I think this is where Mom grew up. I slowed my pace and walked instinctively throughout the streets that I knew nothing of. I recognised the scent of Belle, it was extremely faint, almost as if someone had masked it. I walked a bit faster and turned a corner to see a hooded figure, I could figuratively see Belles scent all over him.
"Hey!" I shouted as he turned around
I couldn't see anything of his face apart from a sly smirk appearing on his face.
"What have you done with her?" I said
"Tut tut, didn't your mother tell you to have some manners? You should at least say hello first." He said smirking even more
"Tell. Me. Now." I forced out feeling Chloe pressing against my insides
He looked a bit taken back but masked it immediately after.
"Now now. I knew you would come." He said as he smirked
"Who are you." I said trying to keep Chloe at bay
"Well you can call me whatever you like, but I don't really have a name." He said
"I know a few people like that." I said looking about
"Well, most people have their own opinions on my name but you, you can call me The Devil." He said and lifted up a bit of cloth
I stood a bit confused for a moment before snapping into reality.
"You see this? This is what happens when people mess with me." He said as he sniffed the cloth
"It's Belle's." I whispered
"Yes and you'll never, ever get her back." He said as he ran
