Hazels POV:

As I opened my eyes I saw the morning sun streaming in through the windows. It shone brightly from the morning sun. Today is my fifteenth birthday. Most people would go to school weekdays, not me. I'm home schooled. It's for my duties as an Alpha. It's rare for girls to be alphas. I'm one of those lucky girls, even more so as I'm not a full werewolf. My family use the term 'wolf shifter.' My mother Coco is a normal shifter. She described her experience to me and everything she went through. The day she moved in was one of the best days of her life. She said that I was another one of these.

My parents brung me up here in a beach house. It's beautiful. I'm an only child but my best friend next door is practically my sister. Her name is Violet, her parents are Indigo and Pete, my parents best friends. My mother, Coco and my father Luke were blessed by the moon goddess. When I wasn't even born when I was blessed. We don't know what it means yet, but we will find out in time. I was brought up the way that the high ranking alphas were. It's to give me the childhood they never had.

I got out of bed and changed into my casual clothes. Joggers, hoodies and converses. After this I combed my hair and went downstairs. When I came down I saw my mom cooking food and Luke setting the table. When they saw me they both rushed over and hugged me.
"Happy birthday honey." She said "your presents are on the sofa."
"Happy birthday." He said
"Thank you so much, both of you." I said "I love you both so much."
They smiled as I ran over to the sofa. I saw a huge pile of presents.
"Indigo and Pete dropped some off as well." He said.
I opened them one by one. My mother and father gave me a beautiful protection necklace that gave control. I also got money, more jewellery and clothes. I saw a giant parcel at the end. It shifted a little bit from the inside. I approached it and tore it nervously. My parents behind me watching. When I tore the rest up. I opened the box and a dog jumped out. I turned to look at my parents.
"A husky?" I said
They nodded as I picked it up. I glanced at it to see that it was a male puppy. It's so cute and sweet, I held him close to me. It's a warm ball of fluff.
"What are you going to name him?" They asked.
"Gabriel." I said
"That's a wonderful name hun." She said
I sat down at the table and held him. I put the necklace on. My parents continued cooking whilst I tidied up my presents. After I tidied them all up, my mum put a stack of bacon pancakes on the table for me. Mom and Dad have already ate so they wanted me to eat all of it.

After eating around five bacon pancakes I then brung my presents back upstairs and then came back down. I grabbed my phone and sat on the sofa. I messaged Violet asking her if she wanted to go to the beach.

Hey, wanna go to the beach?
Yeah sure, meet you there in five?
See u there.

I told mom and dad that I'm going to the beach. I gently put Gabriel on some cushions, as he fell asleep. I shut the door and jogged across the sand. I saw Violet at the other side. Her mother gave her a charm to allow her control. I didn't need it but it helps. She shifted and her clothes disappeared. That's another thing, control allows your human side to remain untouched as it was before. I smiled as a wolf stood before me. I shifted into my wolf. My wolf is my strongest form. We ran along the beaches with each other. We both hope to find our mates together. Sometimes we find our mates early, the earliest can be fourteen. We still have a chance. The sooner I find my mate. The sooner I find eternal happiness.
