[LUKA POV]

When I was younger I used to think that my life was wonderful and always would be, but alas I was wrong. After I shifted into cat at the dinner table my parents threw me out an hour later. The only way I survived was when people gave pity to a small kitten roaming around and gave me some meat. I moved in

to the forest when I was 11. One day when I was roaming about on the busy sidewalks a man walking his dog was passing by me, I guess the dog noticed I was there and before his owner could restrain him the dog was suddenly loose and attacked me. While I got some good scratches in, the dog managed to slice my cheek. After that I didn't feel safe anymore and moved to the forest where I currently reside at now. I am now 18. Iv'e had one friend until two days ago. I told him I was a cat-shifter. In all honesty the friendship was only a week. He dyed my hair too. So now I have pink hair. Which hilariously made my fur have a pink hue! 

I feel sad now. He didn't even care about the scar on my cheek. Everyone always stared at me but he didn't. Currently i'm roaming the forest in my kitten form just playing around, until I heard a growl coming from behind me. As soon as I got snapped out of my thoughts I smelled the most incredible scent ever. I turned around and became face to face with a... wolf?

[JULIAS POV]

I hate my pack. I hate everyone in it. Especially the alpha, he's pathetic and cowardly. He kicked me out at the age of 11 because he knew I would have been stronger than him. Weak.  After that I ran miles and miles away from the pack borders. I didn't stop until I got so tired my knees buckled under my weight. I stayed where I lived for ten until two weeks ago where  hunters had found me. I moved again until my knees once again betrayed me and I fell to the ground. I roamed around for a little while before hunting and going to sleep. I did that on repeat for two weeks before I went out of my comfort zone and actually explored. 20 minutes into the search I came upon the most wonderful smell ever. That's when I realized; it was my mate. I growled a low deep sound and raced forward to find the owner of the amazing scent. I was quickly greeting in shock to find a small KITTEN in my view. I soon came to a conclusion that my mate is a cat shifter. I growled again, startling the cat.

I shifted into my human for and muttered a low "Shift." Towards the kitten. He quivered in fear and shifted. Thank god us shifters still have our clothes on when we turn or this would have been more awkward then ever. My mate was 5'2 while I was 6'1 almost a foot difference in height. My wolf purred happily.

'Easier to protect~' I groaned at that. Of course that's what my wolf thought at this moment.

He has pink hair which is weird since he's a rouge. One thing that does stand out is the scar made obviously from a claw on his cheek. Then the reality hit me. My mate in a male. A MALE.

I growled once again. Jeez I am growling too much today, I need to stop that. Out of anger at the world and the moon goddess I let out the worst sentence that I could have ever said to my little mate.

"Who would want you as a mate; especially with that disgusting scar!" I snarled at him and took off. Before I turned around though, I heard a small sob and it made my heart crumble to pieces.

Hello :) I am very happy to say chapter 1 is done! As you can see I am not the best writer, but my 

cousin @LoganRomanov1979 persuaded me to write! I am very happy to see how I can progress along with the story. I have given up on stories in the past but those were fanfics of fandoms I weren't really in so I gave up. But now that this book has come from my own mind... I MOST CERTAINLY WILL TRY MY BEST TO FINISH IT :) thanks to anybody who will ride with me on this journey of a book. bye boos!
