I heard the booming laugh almost immediately and I transformed into my wolf form, and subconsciously let my armor take over. Making me a walking tank of power. 

"How dare you use my friends like that" I said "following in your wife's footsteps before she was destroyed, how very low of you" his laughing didn't stop, not even as he flashed in-front of me with his full armor on. 

"You come to join my forces" he said and I roared a challenge against him

"No I've come to challenge you" I said "I, Perseus Jackson, challenge you Tartarus, Lord of the Pit, for your title, power, and throne, so that I may end this war before it starts" he smiled and got out two swords. 

"I accept your challenge" he said and then he was next to me in a flash, and I shifted into my human form as the twin blades came down where my head and heart were in wolf form. I cot out Tempest and Aurora, and they easily cut into his calves. Then I blocked a strike and deflected another coming for my leg, and cut across his chest. 

"Ah someone's imprinted have they" he smiled evilly, and I paused. What did that mean, I haven't imprinted on anyone. He took advantage of this and came behind me with a sword at my neck, and another one against my back. I guessed he shrunk the second one to the size of a knife otherwise I would be dust right now. I growled. 

"What does that mean" I growled and I dug my toe-claws into his foot making him pull back roaring in pain and rage and I knocked away the knife flying towards me and knocked him down before stabbing his wrist holding his sword and putting my foot on his chest with my swords at either side of his neck, in scissor form. I growled showing my silver teeth and he laughed darkly under my hold. 

"I mean you're wolf hasn't realized it yet, but you have a mate" I closed my swords around his neck tighter growling in annoyance and trying to hide my surprise, and failing "see you don't even know it yet, but your new mate is now surviving off of the bond that you made between you, oh how she will long to be with you, but sadly she's in a coma right now isn't she." 

He was talking about Artemis, and I conjured a knife in the air and let it sink into his shoulder as I kept him in place with my foot and swords. 

"No, Artemis can't be my mate" I said "I already had the love of my life, but she's dead, Annabeth is dead, and I can't get her back" 

"No, that was before your change into a werewolf, and who was the first to make the bond between each-other" he smirked, he knew that Artemis had blessed me when she found out about what had happened "unknowingly you and her both created a bond with each-other that can never break, one of you is in danger the other feels it, even if they don't see it. Of coarse it takes a couple months to form, and that's why you couldn't protect her from Orion's arrow, but you are the one keeping her alive, your bond is keeping her to this world, not Apollos healing, not her strength, your lifelines are connected, and sadly in order to kill one you have to injure both" 

I've had enough, and I let my blades cross, and they slide cleanly through Tartarus' throat and he smiled as he crumbled into ash, and then I was blown back by an unknown force. When I landed on the ground I was cast into a sort of vision, but I wasn't asleep. I could see every monster in my body...my body!

I quickly got up and looked to where I had killed Tartarus, and there was nothing there, I could also see the monsters of earth, and the ones underground, in shadows, and in the air camouflaged. I screamed in pain as they all exploded from unknown, or known reasons as I saw some get an arrow, sword, or something else that was cast into them to kill them. Then my vision went dark. 

When I woke up I looked at my hands to see that nothing had changed, and I noticed that my ring-finger's claw had turned a molten lava-like color. The color of the area I was in, I couldn't call it Tartarus anymore since I had apparently gotten his abilities, I didn't know that the challenge would do that, and once I got up I growled in pain as all of my muscles, bones, and tendons flared with unexpected pain. I fell into a shadow and flew out and into a small pond, the water healed me and re-energized my body.

"ow" I said and sat up looking at the sky to see that it was night. I shifted and the water around me instantly turned to mist. I looked around in confusion and I saw dead fish, frogs, and other things all fried from some thing. I looked at my body and I saw that I was glowing with heat, and the pond, and the area around it for a good ten feet had all withered and died from heat. I also saw that I was a molten red now, as were my claws, tail, and I made a block of clear ice and opened my mouth looking into it to see that my top row of teeth were still silver, but everything else burned with lava-like substance. My bottom-row of teeth burned a dark red like lava, they were still silver, I could feel that, but they were glowing hot, so hot that my saliva had turned into lava. 

I scowled in annoyance and shifted back to human form, I looked around and then I noticed that I was in my armor. It was also the same, silver still but every one of my weapons points were glowing red-hot, my armor had turned into molten lava in some places like the bottom of my robe, and there was a lining of molten rock embedded into my silver armor-cloak...assassin's robe. 

I took off my armor and played with my weapons individually for a second before I thought about the lobby of Stark Tower and I looked down as my body burst into flames, then I was in the lobby like I had wanted. Then three old ladies took my hands an dragged me outside, and I looked at them once and realized what they were, or who. The Fates. 

"Here to mess-up my life more" I said and they shook their heads, and then they started to chant, but it wasn't normal chanting. It was like in introducing chant. 

"Behold, Perseus Jackson, Primordial of The Pit, Shadows, Water, Light, Flames, Food,  Creatures" They stopped their sort of chant, and I looked up for a second and then back down to where they would be and they weren't there anymore. Not surprising though, they didn't seem very happy with me being a Primordial now. I growled lowly and thought about Tony's office and my body turned into flames again and I was in the lobby once I stopped burning. I went over to the couch and turned it on, and I watched the news, outlining The Avengers fighting a squad of people win black suits, and once the fight looked like it didn't need me to interfere. I turned off the TV and used the shadow of the couch to travel to the training room where I tested out my new powers. 

Once I felt like I was in control of them, I flame-traveled back to the couch and made sure that I didn't burn it to ash before I sat, then lay on it, and next thing I knew I was dreaming about war. 

I couldn't move as I watched all of my friends die, Piper swallowed in a big black hole appearing under her, Annabeth in the hands of a giant. Leo missing his head, his body pale already. Frank having lost his wings and been bound to a stake, another was pushed into him from behind, and I screamed. The entire battlefield turned to red ash and the next thing I knew I was in a torture chamber in Tartarus, and a knife was forced into my shoulder making me scream in pain. 

I shot up on the couch and I looked around to make sure that I was still there alone, and then there was a flash and Apollo was in the room. I immediately got up and went up to him. 

"How's Artemis" I asked immediately and he sighed 

"She's in a coma, not moving, and several times I thought that she had stopped breathing" he said and I gripped his shoulders. 

"I think that I know how to help her" I said "but I don't think that you're going to like it" he looked at me with hope and a little suspicion. 

"I'll go and get her" he said and was about to flash away when I gripped his shoulder

"Meet me at the hunter's camp" I said and let go, he was gone and I flame-traveled out and reappeared in the middle of The Hunt's camp. They immediately had their bows out and aimed at me with an arrow knocked, or two. I waved and Thalia dropped her bow and rushed in and hugged me, and I was shocked. Why would she hug me, and I know that she definitely won't after what I wanted to say. I gently pushed her away and I looked up to see that they had all put their weapons away after recognizing me, though I don't know how they did since I didn't have my glamour on, and it didn't scare them either. 

"Thalia I have to ask you and the girls about something" I said "regarding Artemis' health" 

"You didn't" Thalia said covering her mouth and the other girls grinned and I looked at them all like they were crazy

"What'd I do" I said and Thalia punched my shoulder

"You finally made a move on her didn't you" she said "I've seen how she acts around you, and you're too blind to notice" 

"What, No!" I stepped back, and then put on my armor "I have to ask about something worse than seducing your maiden, and my supposed mate" 

"Why did you put your armor on" Thalia asked me and I looked at the floor

"I came to ask you if I could turn your mistress" I said and Thalia's face went slack "it's worse than that though" I took out my shield as the others got out their bows, and Thalia's hands started to spark. 

"I was at the graveyard visiting the others, and Artemis came by, but she had been possessed by Tartarus. We fought, and then he made Orion shoot an arrow into Artemis' back and I don't know if it had or hadn't hit her heart, but I brought her to Apollo, and he brought her to Olympus so that she can heal, but I don't think that she's going to wake-up on her own" I said and the sparking and bows heightened "I went down to Tartarus, made him pay, got his domains, so I'm now a Primodial, but I need you to go to Olympus and bring her back here so that I can heal her, or rather turn her in order to heal her" Thalia's hands weren't sparking anymore, and I lowered my shield, and Apollo was there in-front of them. 

"Apollo you know what to do, but first girls please answer me" I said and they just gripped Apollo's hands and he looked at me sadly and flashed them to Olympus. I sat there in the middle of their camp trying not to lose control, and then there was another flash and something heavy was thrown onto me. 

I fell back in surprise and looked on my chest, and I saw Artemis. Then I felt it the spark that connected us, and I looked at Thalia in hope. 

"Does this mean" I was cut off as she nodded

"Just tell us what to do" Thalia said and the girls nodded

"This'll hurt all of our bonds a-lot because the very thing that you all hunt is going to add it'self to your bond, and sadly it also means that once it is done, and once Artemis has her first shift then you'll all shift as well on the following full moon" I looked at them all and their expressions didn't change. 

"As long as we all stay maidens, a part of the hunt, and as long as Artemis is fine then well do whatever it takes" she said and I smiled at them, happy that they'll do anything for our mistress, like I would. 

"Okay this may sound a little harsh, but I need you all to go into your respective tents, lock them, and tie or chain yourselves to your beds" I said and they all looked at me incredulously. 

"We'd rather stay with our mistress" Thalia said and I shrugged 

"I hope you're good with pain then" I said and bit into Artemis' shoulder, the werewolf venom made her thrash and strain trying to wake herself up to kill whatever it was that was trying to reform her bond, and domains. I held her tight and the girls all had fallen to the floor and were gritting their teeth trying to hold in their screams.
