Once Steve got out of his elevator I got up from the bench and walked over only to turn around and walk with him. He had a baseball cap, jeans, and a white t-shirt on, typical human clothing. He blended in well, although he still was built more than the average human, but people wouldn't stare for long, especially with him running right past them at, what, ten or fifteen miles per hour...maybe faster. 

"Slowpoke" I said and he scowled

"Well I would've asked for you to get me outside of the building faster, but I didn't want to go through the shadows like Thor did, especially since he looked pale as Hell" he said and I grinned and chuckled a little before pushing open the door and waiting as he went through the push-circle, rotating entrance thing. I didn't know what it was called (nor do I so a little help Readers) and we jogged to central park talking about random things, likes, dislikes, and how he viewed the others. When we had just entered the park he went full speed and I followed just behind as he made turns and I mapped out the path in my head before catching up to him and running beside him. I mean his mortal speed was pretty fast, considering the people's hair that flew backwards as he passed by, but I was faster, and this was just chipping my ice-berg of speed.

We ran around the park for twenty or so laps and he stopped at the twenty sixth and lent down on his hands-knees breathing hard. 

"You didn't seem like you were even trying" he said still looking at the floor and I shrugged standing and walking around him in a circle. 

"I didn't feel like going my full speed" I said and he looked at me in shock

"What?" he said "what's your full speed then?" 

"It is the equivalent of a mach three jet I'd guess" I said and his mouth opened and his eyes and eye-brows raised.

"No, you can't really go that fast can you?" he said disbelievingly, and I nodded, and then smelled a monster, The Minotaur. I looked around for a second and I got out my bow with an arrow knocked already and he looked up and around in confusion. 

"COME OUT HERE YOU STUPID BEAST" I said and he stepped out from behind a tree with his hands raised "what do you want now" 

"I'm tired of dying" he grumbled but put his hands down and I was a little shocked that I could hear him now, but it was probably because I was now a werewolf...and a monster as well "I came here to warn you" 

"Now why would you want to do that" I growled spreading my fingers and making another arrow appear, and he looked at them in fear. 

"Because Gaea's Husband is mad at the gods for letting you kill a primordial, and he is calling all the monsters to him to build his army to strike against them, and he'll find you eventually, and it would be beast if you--" the Minotaur was cut off as an arrow went through his throat, making him disintegrate and Percy growled and turned to Steve. 

"What was that about" he asked and I shook my head

"Nothing, nothing that you should worry about" I growled and walked out of the park and Steve seemed to be stuck looking at the dust that the Minotaur turned into. 

"Stop looking at it, he's not going to pop out of the ground and capture you" I said and I heard Steve huff in agreement and he jogged up and met with me walking on my left side. I looked at him and then something past him and I narrowed my eyes as we walked, unaware that he was talking as I looked at the roof where something glinted in the light. I was about to shadow-travel up there and then the flash disappeared and I growled lowly and turned to Steve as he was finishing his sentence, and it wasn't a subject that I liked either. 

"... should be home, so when we get there you are going to go through your check-up with him, and then afterwards. We get to give you a cover name" he said and I groaned. I didn't want everyone to freak out after they saw all of the scars that I have from my battle days, but I guess that it can't be avoided.

Once we got there, I looked around and breathed in relief thinking that Dr. Banner wasn't there yet, and then the scent of mutated DNA made it's way to my nose, and I growled in annoyance as he stepped out from the hallway looking at his phone. Then he looked over and saw us, and since we weren't in anyone else's vision. I took off my glamour and he jumped back dropping his phone as he screamed from the sight of what I truly looked like. 

"You're gonna have to get used to me looking like this" I said walking past him and to the pool where I jumped in and floated on my back letting the water cool me down from the run, and calm me down as I prepared for the yelling to come, either way it was going to be an annoying experience. 

"So how are we going to do this" I said as he came over and stood as the front edge of the pool

"First I am going to test your cognitive levels" he said and I peeked at him, and then I raised my hand and a blob of water shot from the pool and soaked him through, then I dried him off.

"Was that really necessary" he said and I hummed in agreement

"Yes, my cognitive levels are already higher than a mortals, so next thing" I turned around and started to float towards him. 

"No I mean your psychological levels" he said and I growled, of coarse it had to be something stupid like that

"Shoot" I said and he got a pen out and put the clip-board on the edge of his arm and elbow

"Say the first thing that comes to mind when I say these ten things" he said and I scoffed, this'll be easy

"Red"

"Blood" 

"Peace" 

"Unreachable"

"War" this one I didn't expect, and it took me a second to try and think of an answer because so many things were going on in my mind, but one was the strongest.

"Loss"

"Death"

"Where are we going with this" I growled "are you trying to piss me off" 

"No just answer the question, please" 

"Fine, inevitable" I was getting very angry with his area of focus

"Family" 

"Gone" 

"Life" 

"Void" I went under not wanting to answer any more questions. He had struck a nerve, and it was one that I was trying to live with, but he had to bring it all up. I came up ten minutes later, and he was sitting in a chair watching me, and I dried myself off, and went over to him. 

"Now what" I said and he stood up and I followed him as he went to a private room

"Now I need to assess your injuries, and your bodily health" he said and told me to take off my shirt, and I growled loudly making him shiver. 

"I'm not asking" he said

"And I'm not doing" I said glaring at him and he shivered before walking from the room and returning with Steve.

"Fine if you won't with me will you be comfortable around a friend" he said and I clenched my fists, seething in rage as I heard that word. 

"No, but if you insist" I tore off my shirt, and all of the battle, torture, and child scars that I had gotten as I grew up shone silver in the light. I shifted and roared at them in rage because they made me face something that I had been trying to keep. I jumped into a shadow letting their faces of shock and horror stain the room as I left the tower and went to the graveyard. 

I was glad that they had gravestones in the mortal cities because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do this. I walked over to them and sat at their 'feet'. They had already moved on to the Elysium, and according to the number of stones, Nico and Thalia were still alive. I hadn't seen Nico yet though, but I guess if he hasn't looked, or found me. Then something must be keeping him back, for now anyways. I felt a presence in the Graveyard with me and I turned slightly and saw silver. The same silver I saw on the roof-top, but it wasn't the Artemis that I knew. The one that I knew had blessed me and allowed me into her hunt, so what's going on. 

"What up Artemis" I said shifting into my 'human' form, and I turned to her and saw her normal silver eyes, and then she raised her bow, an arrow appeared on the string, pure moonlight. 

"Um, Artemis" I saw a glint of water on her face and I barely got my shield out and put it in-front of me before the arrow reached me. It bounced off, went into the sky, and burst into moonlight flames. I rushed her and pinned her arms behind her, and then I created a chain of water to keep her still, and I kicked the back of her knees, and covered her feet, and hands with ice to keep her still. I ripped off her hood and I saw what was wrong. There was a sheet of red covering her eyes, and I growled and raised my hand to do something, and then I realized what I was about to do and I put my hand down and put my hand on her shoulder instead. 

"Get out of my Mistress, Tartarus" I said and he made Artemis grin

"Oh how much of a fight she put up too, what a shame, having to take over this form, and find you" his voice was deep and creepy coming from Artemis. 

"Get out of my Mistress" I growled and he made her grin, and this confused me.

"No, I'll let one more loss take part on your soul" he said and then I saw a flash of moonlight color, and an arrow went straight through her back. I roared with rage and pulled out my pistols before shooting as I advanced on the giant that was used to kill my mistress, Orion. He tried getting another arrow ready as the bullets tore through him, but there were too many at such a small time, and I was finally close enough, and I put away my guns, and got out Tempest and Aurora swiping down as they unsheathed. 

They cut straight through his head, heart, and area, and he crumbled to dust as he split into two. I ran back to Artemis to see that Tartarus wasn't inhabiting her body anymore. 

"I'm sorry" I said "I'm so sorry" I snapped the arrow in half and quickly pulled it out, and then I covered her in ice to keep her from bleeding out, and the water took hold on her as she was a sliver away from dying on me. I flashed to the plains and roared for Apollo to come down, and he was down in a flash, flashing his smile at me for a second and then he saw me holding Artemis in my arms in a Ice-cast coffin, and his light dimmed. 

"What happened" he said rushing up and putting his hand on the ice, healing her through the water, combining his and my power together and healing her, I took the ice from her head and he took her.

"Bring her to Olympus" I said "I can't have anyone else die because of me" 

"What are you going to do" he said taking Artemis 

"Tartarus inhabited her body, and then Orion's and he made Orion shoot an arrow through her chest hoping to take her away from us, but she held on, and I would've gone to Olympus immediately, but" I stopped and he nodded getting the point "anyways, Tartarus had declared war on the gods, and he's hurt my mistress, and I can't allow him to get away with that" I walked into the shadow of a tree and took three steps in the darkness before arriving in the very place that I hated most...Tartarus.
