Chapter 2

The purple haired girl used the green spray amazingly fast and turned around with a wicked smile as she finished her great spray-paint masterpiece that was painted over a brick city wall; It was one of her Long Live Evil tags.

She jumped down from that box she was standing on. Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, sang: "They say I'm trouble, they say I'm bad," She purposely bumped shoulders with a passing boy before walking away. "They say I'm evil, and that makes me glad!"

A boy appeared over the top of a nearby building. Jay, son of Jafar, sang as he climbed down a ladder, "A dirty no-good, down to the bone, your worst nightmare, can't take me home!"

A girl with a thick wavy black hair, jumped from a low slope roof and walked down an alley, wearing her casual clothes; A red plaid slip dress layered with soft cotton fishnet weave, a black leather jacket that had a drawing of the golden flower on the back of it, black skinny ripped jeans, ankle boots in black with a lace up front, black leather belt with G-Buckle.

"Don't mess with me, you'll just lose," Grace, daughter of Mother Gothel, sang loudly. She snatched a blue scarf from a passing girl and looked at her nails for a second, mockingly admiring the red and silver glitter over black polish. She looked up and smiled wickedly before tying the scarf tightly around an unlucky passing man. "Didn't you know? I'm bad news!"

A girl strutted down a table, making everyone move their plates and complain loudly. But, Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen, managed to make her voice heard above the complaining: "So I got some mischief in my blood, can you blame me? I never got no love!" Evie sang. Some looked at her with annoyance, some with awe. She ducked under a railing, before smiling flirtatiously at a nearby boy.

A boy with black-and-white hair appeared through a window. Carlos, son of Cruella De Vil started singing, "They think I'm callous," Carlos swiped a worker's red scarf, "A low-life hood," He grabbed a girl's apple as she threw it into the air, bit it, and then threw it back to her. "I feel so useless-"

"MISUNDERSTOOD!" The five shouted together.

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall?" Mal, Evie and Grace sang together, walking down an alley, "Who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to our wicked world...Wicked world!"

The five villains grabbed onto a fence, banged on it, and opened it with a powerful force. They jumped on laundry baskets and pulled down clothes lines, "I'm rotten to the core, core. Rotten to the core. I'm rotten to the core, core." Grace smiled evilly as she pushed down a man toward bucket full of dirty water. "Who could ask for more? I'm nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door. I'm rotten to the. I'm rotten to the. I'm rotten to the core."

Along with the others, Grace grabbed a stick and started banging it rhythmically on the metal buckets and pipes, laughing wickedly along with her friends.

"Call me a schemer. Call me a freak," Mal grabbed spray cans and sprayed a big purple "M" across a nearby tarp. "How can you say that? I'm just, unique." She pulled it away, revealing a man in a middle of his bath, and smiled wickedly.

"What, me a traitor? Ain't got your back?" Jay jumped down from a roof, "Are we not friends?" He quickly grabbed a metal tea pot and jumped the table. "What's up with that?"

"Cunning and clever, that's what they say." Grace sang, pushing everyone and everything that was in her way. She then leaned on a high pile of boxes, purposely pushing it with her back and causing it fell down, making anyone who was around to scatter away "Can you blame me? I was born that way."

"So I'm a misfit, so I'm a flirt," Evie sang, walking through a maze of scarves. She pulled one off a boy's neck, spinning him around. "I broke your heart, I made it hurt."

Carlos jumped onto a tall shelf, kicking away the buckets of apples in his way. "The past is past. Forgive forget, the truth is—"

"You ain't seen nothing yet!" All five shouted.

"Mirror Mirror, on the wall. Who's the baddest of them all?" Grace, Mal, and Evie sang, watching from a balcony as Carlos pulled Jay as he swung from a movable metal beam. "Welcome to my wicked world. Wicked world."

The five descendants run out into the street, scaring off everybody besides a few teens who dance and sang with them. "I'm rotten to the core, core. Rotten to the core. I'm rotten to the core, core, who could ask for more? I'm nothing like the kid next, like the kid next door. I'm Rotten to the. I'm rotten to the. I'm rotten to the core."

The teens finished dancing just as a woman with a wagon with a little boy sitting inside passed by.

Mal took a step closer and bent down to the little boy and snatched the candy that the boy had been holding. She held it up to all the other teens in success. The teens laughed wickedly, but scrambled away quickly as two henchmen walked forward.

Mal turned around —still smiling evilly— and said, "Hi, Mom."

The two troll-men were pushed aside to reveal Maleficent, Mal's mother. The two henchmen walked around, to the back of the group, along with two others. Now, four troll-men stood at the back of the group, as if waiting for something to happen.

"Stealing candy, Mal?" Maleficent said. "I'm so disappointed."

"It was from a baby." She said hopefully, holding the candy out.

Maleficent smiled, "Ha! That's my nasty little girl!" Mal grinned proudly right back. Maleficent took the candy from her and than spat on it, clamped it under her armpit, and handed it to a troll henchman. "Give it back to the dreadful creature." She ordered.

Mal sighed, "Mom..."

"It's the deets, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil!" She gestured around to the Isle. "When I was your age, I was—"

"Cursing entire kingdoms," Mal said along with her mother.

"Oh, you." Maleficent chuckled. "Walk with me." She led Mal away from the group.

Grace, Evie, Jay and Carlos watch curiously at Maleficent and Mal as they talked.

"You see, I'm just—just trying to teach you the things that really count—how to be me."

"I know that." Mal replied, "And I'll do better."

Maleficent smiled at her daughter but suddenly jumped. "Oh! There's news! I buried the lede!" She whirled around in a circle before pointing at the group of five. "You five have been chosen to go to a different school....in Auradon."

Grace's eyes widened and she couldn't believe her ears. She whirled around and nearly tackled a troll-man trying to get away. Unfortunately for her, he caught her and practically shoved her back in front of Maleficent.

"What?" Mal exclaimed. "I am not going to a boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!"

"And perfect princes!" Evie sighed dreamily, but then she saw the disgusted looks that Mal and Grace gave her and quickly added, "Ugh!"

"Why would we want to go to a place with rules and laws everywhere while we can stay here and have the fun of our lives?" Grace argued, stepping forward toward Mal, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, and I don't do uniforms," Jay said, "Unless they're leather, you feel me?" He chuckled and tried to high-five Carlos but Carlos just ignored him and step forward.

Carlos, who was now standing next to Grace said nervously, "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. My mom says their vicious, rabid pack animals who eat boys that don't behave." Jay snuck up behind Carlos and barked like a dog, causing Carlos to jump like a scaredy cat.

"Yeah, Mom, we're not going!" Mal said confidently.

"Oh, you're thinking small, pumpkin!" Maleficent proclaimed, "It's all about world domination!" She licked her lips and looked at the five. "Knuckleheads! All of you!" She turned and walked away, her cape billowing. "Maaaal!" She called over her shoulder in a sing-song voice.

Mal glanced at friends, then sighed and followed her mother, with the other four trudging behind her. Grace couldn't help but think about what her mother had to say about it.
